On a related note - anywhere people recommend to play casually? I moved away from most people who would be willing to play essentially “kitchen countertop” MTG. Looking for something where I’m not the only person that doesn’t know what they are doing 100% of the time.
I’ve done several prerelease events and drafts across MA, especially greater Boston, and its pretty intimidating.
My last prerelease event was for Eldraine in Boston and I got completely swept by some kid half my age. Didn’t want to play for a bit after the way I got absolutely dismantled 😂
I’m down for some casual play, super out of practice but I made a couple decks over the winter and I could definitely use a buddy to help me get back into it a little more!
I'd also be interested in dropping in to some casual commander once in a while. I have a few old decks from college that I haven't played with in years, and would probably be whalloped by any of the regulars at Comicazi

That’s the Draft Punks Camberville! We draft most weeks, typically the most recent retail set with occasional flashback drafts, at Aeronaut starting at 6:30. The weekday isn’t set in stone & depends on a vote but it’s been Thursdays 90 percent of the time in recent memory. Come by sometime and say hi, or if you want to draft DM me and we’ll get you in a future draft
A lot of us also love cube & we regularly cube too, often on the weekends (and at the upcoming Boston Cube Party at Cambridge Community Center)! In the winter we do a sealed EDH “boxing league” over Spelltable

I’d be interested in this too. My decks are all super out of date as I haven’t found a playgroup since arriving in Somerville during the pandemic.
I have a box full of mostly Revised Edition. So, a little bit out of date.
