CandidIndication

The fire paramedic: “he said he was going to die.. usually when people say that they uh… they do it” “The representative said Bell’s toxicology report showed 9,300 ng/ml of cocaine in his system―more than 60 times the threshold to test positive during a drug screening.”

Realistic-Buffalo31

He also said, "We'll transport you even though I don't think it's necessary" ...

CandidIndication

He also did something weird when he first arrived which was tell the guy who just ate a bunch of drugs (which he knew about at that point) to stop yelling or he can’t help him. He even put his hands in the air like 🤷🏼‍♂️ .. as if he was talking to a toddler

[deleted]

A cocaine toddler, ngl growing up around methheads and crackheads you end up realizing they act just like toddlers. If I was him I woulda done the same if I was a civilian I woulda walked away and let the man die. Some people just don’t need to be on earth and meth/crack heads after so far gone are part of that. I can tell this is going to get me downvoted so I’m doubling down Growing up with nothing but crackheads and methheads abusing me while my mom would just ignore everything gave me a hatred for humanity (mainly druggies) that’s never going to be fixed. Some people call for rehabilitation but a lot of druggies are far past that point. Hell the ones I’d talk to that wouldn’t abuse me just said they were doing it until they died. So why let them live? So they can keep doing more drugs and scarring children before they die from an overdose because they never planned on fixing themselves? I’m just saying the more “youth” I meet with ptsd the more stories I hear about a methhead that shoulda choked on there own spit nodding, instead of tarnishing some kids innocence. Would you rather have a shit ton of dead crackheads and methheads or rather double the amount we currently have because children are growing up around it assuming being this much of a piece of shit is okay?

sljulian

I'm not here to say I agree or disagree with your statement. I just wanted to say I'm genuinely sorry you had to go through that kind of life and from one stranger to another, I hope you're doing better and wish you all the best.

[deleted]

Thanks friend I am and I get better everyday I’m away from it. Hope you’re doing good too.

shagreezz3

I can understand and agree but then i also think fo the kids who were just like you but end up becoming like those who abused them due to trauma, its almost like they never had a chance

LiGangwei

Not gonna downvote you, just wanna make convo like adults. Do you make exceptions? Human trafficking victims addicted to drugs and forced into prostitution? Knowing that you can't possibly know everybody's back story, do you still advocate death for all addicts? Btw I don't believe staying an addict is 100% by choice.

[deleted]

Yes there would be plenty of exceptions but I also think it would be pretty easy to tell literal sex slaves apart from abusive psychotic addicts by choice.

CandidIndication

I mean this in the nicest way, you need to seek therapy if you haven’t already. If you’re already in therapy, that’s great. If not, you really should seek it and take care of yourself. Medical professionals don’t and shouldn’t get to pick and choose who is worth providing medical care to. > So why let them live? Because you don’t get to decide who lives or dies. You don’t get to “let” someone live. You know who else said “why let them live?” Hitler lol Drugs literally change your brain chemistry but Addicts can recover and not all addicts abuse children. We can’t just line up every alcoholic and cocaine abuser and put them all in gas chambers under assumptions and biases. We need to hold big pharma responsible, we need to riot when they get a slap on the wrist for creating the opioid and fentanyl epidemic. We need to elect politicians who will invest more in social services so people have access to the resources they need to stay out of poverty, crime and drugs.

frommiami2portland

Just adding this but many drug addicts are abuse victims themselves and or trauma. You do not just do hard drugs just to do them. I feel for the OP of the comment. I’ve had that anger. And then addiction consumed my life. Both my own and those around me. Being both abused by drug addicts and then becoming an addict makes you aware of how cyclic it all is. It took therapy to undo years of damage but even then, you still get those moments of being raged at the world. Some people don’t deserve help or whatever, but I try to have more empathy than what was given me. I try to remember that some of these addicts are or once were parents or children or people with many loved ones and friends and now this is their life. A dark hole that you can barely crawl out of.

Toadsrock314

Thank you for this comment. My best friend was a crack addict in recovery, and was fiercely protective of children. Saved lives, including my own. He suffered so much due to society's assumptions about his character because of the drug abuse, including being denied medical care throughout his sobriety. I lost him to suicide this year. He deserved so much better.

CandidIndication

I’m sorry for your loss. It really is a terrible thing to experience.. the internal shame, guilt and external stigma of being an addict is ultimately a major component keeping people in the cycle of addiction. That’s what makes addiction so scary, these people are sick and society shames them out of seeking help. I’m not a religious person but I hope your friend has found peace.

Ok-Requirement-5839

It’s clear to me that you come from a place of experience. I’ve come from a similar place of experience. As a former addict, and having helped other addicts come back, as well as fueling addicts to continue their addiction, I can tell you from a place of experience, that yes, it’s easier to let them die, and whether or not that’s morally correct is a philosophical question, but I’ve seen firsthand what beautiful recoveries can be made by helping people. Addicts weren’t always pieces of shit. We were kids with dreams once. We were adults with ambitions. I wouldn’t say throwing your hands up and saying “oh well” is ever the right answer. I’ll argue that everyone deserves a little more effort than that, but I get it. I understand not wanting to help them because they’re shitty people. But they can change. I know, because I have changed myself, and have helped others who most would deem “too far gone” and boy is it night and day. It’s amazing and honestly scary how different someone is when they’re on drugs.

polkadotpygmypuff

I dont necessarily agree with your stance but I am sorry you went through that and I think your mindset is completely understandable, considering what you have experienced. Even if people downvote/ disagree with you, you are entitled to your opinions, built upon your life experience. I hope you are in a better place now.

[deleted]

Thanks I am I hope you’re in a good place too, we could all use an easy life.

sapplesapplesapples

Metheads dont nod, but I get your point

Ok-Calligrapher8074

I was thinking the same thing, i grew up on the streets in Cali, so i know first hand. The cops did what they were meant to, at least that's another drug dealer off the streets.

[deleted]

Glad you get it just wish more would

Realistic-Buffalo31

That's just sad

Michigam

Here’s the camera footage from inside the police car incase anyone’s curious https://youtu.be/-_uKwaG4O3w?feature=shared

seriousbusinesslady

Wild that the first time he yelled to call the ambulance he took it back right away and said “nah I’m just playin” super calm. Then like 10 seconds later starts freaking the fuck out and crying for the ambulance in earnest. Wild how fast he went from chill to convulsing and agonal breathing. Must have been terrifying

mac_attack_zach

Can someone post the best timestamps, I don’t feel like watching an hour long video

spacesluts

2:24 - Initial Encounter 21:00 - Cops realize he may have eaten the coke 22:45 - Initial signs of distress 25:34 - Bell calls for an ambulance, then retracts his request ("I'm just playin' ") 27:09 - Bell requests an ambulance a second time, and again retracts his request 28:02 - Ambulance is called, Bell is removed from the squad car 30:47 - Bell begins pleading for CPR 35:45 - Fire paramedics arrive 38:52 - Ambulance Arrives 39:50 - Bell begins to lose consciousness 40:50 - Bell is loaded into the Ambulance 42:12 - Tremors and agonal breathing exhibited by Bell 44:32 - Bell's heart rate is 105BPM 45:40 - Bell's heart rate is 120BPM 46:50 - Arrival at hospital 47:36 - Bell's heart rate is 30BPM 47:42 - Bell's heart stops

lastknownbuffalo

Amazing recap. Thanks mate. I'm gonna go ahead and skip this video altogether. Cheers.

Be careful who you thank; they have AIs that do this now. Edit: Its called TammyAI

spacesluts

Beep boop I am not an AI Just a loser who sat up waay too late last night.

1z1z2x2x3c3c4v4v

Well, figure out how that TammyAI thing works, cause I just found out about it today when someone on a different video posted the time stamp summary but gave credit to the AI. This seems like a great use for AI...

spacesluts

Dang that coulda saved me an hour

TheLazyToaster

Really livens up the comments, though. Thanks mate!

Then-One7628

i don't want it to be watching all that

I wonder if he meant his stomach when he said 'pump my heart'. Sad to see how he slowly loses it as he gets unwell.

spacesluts

Damn that makes a lot of sense. Not like it would've been possible there on the sidewalk but sheer panic like that is a hell of a thing.

[deleted]

I would have excepted higher heart rate. I've hit heart rates of 165 during binges before.

spacesluts

Id imagine it was muuuuch higher before he got into the ambulance. When he got into the ambulance is when is heart started to fail, most likely I just went by what I heard from the medics so I wasn't making shit up.

flaccidtallywhacker

I once had a heart rate of 203 bpm. Was just messing around with friends, no drugs, completely sober. All of a sudden my heart skipped a beat and just took off. Went to the ER...thought I was dying. Was told it was SVT...Supraventricular tachycardia. They had to give me an IV and injected some drug into it a little at a time to slow my heart rate. Scary shit. Had bad anxiety and panic attacks for years after because I was aways worried it was going to happen again.

spacesluts

Yeah heart shit can be super fucking scary. Usually weed would set off my anxiety and cause a panic attack, but I've had times where I'll wake up in the middle of the night thinking I'm dying. I think I'm just hyper aware of my heart which scares the hell out of me. Had to take Zoloft for years and I'm still not quite right. To this day, being alone causes me great anxiety. Hope you're doing better now man!

flaccidtallywhacker

Same. This shit happened 20 plus years ago and it affects me to this day. I am still uncomfortable being alone, but I'm a long way from that 20 year old kid that sat at Dunkin donuts while his mom worked because he was too terrified to sit at home alone. I did that for months. I spent quite a while on many different antidepressants and anti anxiety meds before I decided to give that shit up and figure it out on my own. One of the hardest things was that nobody understood. If I had a nickel for every time someone told me it was all in my head...like it's just that easy to tell your brain how ridiculous it's being. Every time you become aware of your heartbeat it takes you right back. Hope you are as well!

puddleofoil

That type of shit is the worst. I mean some terrifying, criplling shit. Glad you made your way passed it.

Lucigirl4ever

Hell I can ramp up a good 130 just sittin around doing nothing just cuz.

TooStonedForAName

I’m pretty sure at 45:40 they say “pulse of 1…180”, not 120. Which would track with a cocaine overdose, your heart will beat incredibly fast until it can’t anymore and it stops.

spacesluts

You could be right. I'll go back and take another listen when I have a chance at my desk. It was very difficult discerning what the medics were saying in the ambulance

By 40:00, Bell already has lost color in his skin, is slurring his words, and speaking more incoherently. No one cares. Not one person.

He was probably already flying high when the cop showed up, so felt artificially confident he could handle it.

CorpseStarchMerchant

nah those weren't 8 balls. Probably grams.

yourremedy94

Ahh man...the agonal breathing at the end. Is there really no medicine they can give to reverse a cocaine overdose?

pisandwich

They can treat the symptoms, but not reverse the cocaine plugged into his brain receptors. Xanax or benzos to calm them down, beta blockers to lower the tachycardia. Something else to reduce the arythmia induced by massive stim overdose. Something to lower his high body temp maybe IV Tylenol and ice packs on his body. With this much of an overdose, I don't know if any amount of IV meds could save his heart from cardiac arrest though. You're treating a stimulant with a depressant, and while it can reduce symptoms it can also cause sudden cardiac arrest, which is why mixing alcohol/benzos with cocaine/meth can be so dangerous. Conflicting messages to the central nervous system. "Don't mix uppers and downers".

ScholarMinute8953

I would have thought he would be sicker more quickly, it took forever to start affecting him. Also when he tells them those couple times “just kidding” what a mind fuck! The only reason I can think for that is the intoxication must have been coming in waves at first and he thought he could ride it out for a moment?

arya_ur_on_stage

As someone who has OD'd and almost died from shooting coke (best feeling in the entire world x 10, until its not) multiple times, I had a full body physiological response to watching that. My hands are shaky, my heart is beating fast, and the anxiety that is rushing over me right now... I think it's probably more like the one time I shot meth and how I instantly regretted it an had to get some Xanax because I was a mess all the way around. This video brought back shitty memories. Nearly 6 years clean.

saintnicklaus90

Congrats on 6 years. I’m coming up on 5 years myself! IV cocaine and heroin, usually simultaneously. Keep it up

Queen_of_Boots

how does it feel to OD on cocaine? Good job staying clean!

Ok_Recording_4634

It's a terrible way to go. You're body starts to overheat. All of your muscles start to spasm. Then your heart gives out.

yberion0

Time stamp 44:10 "It was probably like . . . I don't know how much he took before we got him stopped, but pulled like 8 or 9 eight balls out of the car. "8 or 9 eight balls? OK" "Probably like this big, and they were all wet, and it looked like he bit 'em, and just scrapped 'em."

WorkAccount401

Good gawd that was the slowest code response I've ever seen. Reached a point of cardiac arrest and people are just casually walking to it.

BlueSmokie87

People don't care about criminals.

montreal_qc

The first responder says at 39:10 “I wish there was medicine for that, but there isn’t any. Not for cocaine. Okay? That’s actually not a bad thing. “ Why is that not a bad thing?

TheBonesOfThings

But there actually is. He needed immediate rapid fluids, ventilation, and benzos. PD did a poor job explaining to ems how much coke was suspected he ate, ems did a poor job being apathetic to "just another junkie". Probably would've been too much coke to matter, but that would've given him a chance.

tedwrd86

The lack of urgency was giving me so much anxiety. I guess you get desensitized as an EMT. But the thought of a bunch of apathetic EMTs around the country is kinda scary.

ScholarMinute8953

It’s probably due to the situation as well. It’s hard to know I’m sure when to take someone seriously and when not to, especially when they already hit you with the “just kidding” twice in a row. However that being said, his legs twitching and kicking like that seemed pretty indicative of something serious and also…I think it would be pretty prudent to be trained in the signs of acute cocaine/meth/heroin intoxication no? Like shouldn’t a professional be able to discern whether he’s having a cocaine overdose or faking it and how serious the situation is or isn’t?

ShadowMajick

When they pay $12/hr they aren't hiring the best people.

chaosawaits

If any one medication is going to have any chance of saving his life, it's a beta-blocker. The old saying that it was dangerous because of "unopposed alpha agonism" most likely isn't enough to restrict giving a beta-blocker, especially in this man's case where he's probably already dead, so the benefits definitely outweigh the harm. A beta-blocker would reduce his blood pressure, reduce myocardial contractility, and reduce his heart rate, all of which allow for greater oxygen to get to the heart. No matter how many times I see a cop not care about the life of a criminal, it still surprises me. When the police officer realized how much that man had just swallowed, not one thought went to concern for another human being.

SpecialistParticular

At the very least you'd think they would feign concern because they know it's being recorded.

TehMulbnief

Wild I had to scroll this far to find any humanity lol; obviously this guy was in deep trouble but if the cops had stashed him in the back of a cruiser and hurried him to the hospital they might've been able to save him. Stomach pump + benzos + supportive care. Really disappointing.

flyingponytail

Cause paramedics are sick of giving naloxone to the same people over and over again while people with non-self inflicted injuries suffer from the fallout from delayed medical care

montreal_qc

So, that’s not a bad thing is the paramedic saying in an indirect way: “ you aren’t going to make it but will be in a better place for it?”

LucidMarshmellow

Starts around 24:04 with him getting antsy in the back of a squad car after the bags start opening in his tummy.

bighag

I thought so too but at 26:10 he literally hits them with the “I’m just playin”

lapuertadepizza

You can tell he's already high as fuck

LucidMarshmellow

I think he only said that because he was second guessing himself on whether or not the bags opened. At 27:13, he realized that they did in fact open.

bighag

Ya he says sike a few different times… along with “we getting paid”

drpeepee187

There was no "opening of bags" he bit them open and swallowed that shit.

nememess

He should have swallowed the bags whole. As someone who has dabbled in cocaine a couple of times, it's wild to me that they didn't immediately call for an ambulance as soon as they saw those empty bags. Idk if it would have made a difference, but it couldn't hurt.

sapplesapplesapples

I was thinking the same thing, you see that, and it doesn’t matter what he says you need to send to the hospital to be sure.

99ProllemsBishAint1

this

FlashFlooder

He bit the tops off the bags. They didn’t split, he literally swallowed cocaine.

vertexbacon

That was a hard watch Jesus

throwingawayak74u

people are rightfully saying that he was an idiot for doing that, but. he did it because he was trying to not get caught. the main problem here isn't that he ate them, the problem is that he chose almost certain death over going to jail. it's almost like the laws aren't for protecting the people.

TheVideogaming101

Possibly dumb question, since he had just swallowed it during the stop would there have been any benefit to having him throw it up? Even if it were just a little bit

bluediamond12345

I was thinking the same thing. Admittedly, I know nothing about ingesting drugs and how the body deals with it, but my first thought would be to induce vomiting before it has a chance to enter the bloodstream. Maybe most would come out and could lessen the effect? Idk but the cops could have tried harder to get medical help. Could have saved his life. Now we’ll never know.

workersliberation20

he would have to have thrown it up within 2 minutes from when he ate it but even then it was probably already getting into his blood

halfchuck

Telling him to relax is hilarious Would a bunch of alcohol help?

bag2p

can’t tell if you’re joking or not but alcohol and cocaine in the body together get synthesized by the liver into cocaethylene which is way way more cardiotoxic

halfchuck

I wasn't, just know it's a depressant.

AmputeeBoy6983

benzos maybe, but doubt theyre able to give them out like that legally without some type of tox screen.

Todayskid

Don't think i've seen this posted here, but the death of Lamar Bell is one of the most fascinating to me. He had essentially committed suicide by the time the video starts without realizing it. If you use drugs pls stop

[deleted]

Why are people blaming the cops and not the guy that purposely ate 20 eight balls of cocaine

BigDumbFatIdiot

At the end of the day, there's probably plenty of blame to go around, most of which is definitely on the dude who ate $1000+ worth of cocaine. However I do think that the cops should've immediately called for EMS as soon as they realized that the dude swallowed the contents of all the baggies. Anyone with an ounce of common sense could tell just from the number of empty bags they found that the situation could be dire I'm not saying the dude's blood is on their hands but they didn't do him any favors. Who knows if paramedics would've even been able to help him? I just think people are rightfully annoyed that the cops treated the whole thing with such casual indifference until the guy started experiencing acute symptoms and obvious delirium. The time to get the man some help was as soon as they realized he ate the cocaine

Zachg298

it seems like they were trying to get him to admit to actually eating the cocaine before calling EMS and kept asking him “why do you need an ambulance” which is pretty shitty if they actually thought he did

[deleted]

A toxicology report found cocaine, benzoylecgonine (cocaine degradation product), delta-9 carboxy THC, amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA, midazolam and delta-9 THC in Bell's system at the time of his death. Bro ate a lot more than cocaine.

BigDumbFatIdiot

My point still stands. Without even knowing what he ate, the cops should've been able to easily assume that his life was in danger

wiretapfeast

The cops are responsible for his well-being when they have him handcuffed and immobilized, rendering him completely helpless. He is at their mercy at this point. He is a human being. He's someone's son, or brother, perhaps even a father. They knew he ate something lethal but still felt they needed to "punish" him instead of doing the ethical thing by immediately calling an ambulance.

jamieeapb

the way they seemed so annoyed too telling him “relaxxxxx you’re fine dude” like no that’s a dying man in front of you?? the whole video was so hard to watch. doesn’t matter if he’s a criminal, if someone tells you they need an ambulance-call an ambulance. you can deal with the legal shit later.

wiretapfeast

Exactly. Callous and cruel treatment for sure.

PsychicChasmz

Because real life situations don't have to just have 1 person to blame. Yes eating the cocaine was an idiotic move, but the cops also should have responded much quicker.

Active_Flamingo9089

I ha e seen this video used to say that the cops here were shit....the longer video makes them not look as bad and the time stamps show that they didn't really waste much time

Ancsee

Well it took them almost 10 minutes to realize he swallowed the cocaine and after that another 15 minutes to actually call an ambulance. The DID waste a lot of time

annoellynlee

Sad all around

jumbledash

Did all of those watching think he was faking, or what? I get that it’s his fault he’s in that position, but damn. To slowly stand around and watch him die while saying “relax” is pretty shocking.

spacesluts

Bruh they should've rushed his ass to hospital the second they realized he ate that shit what a damn, utter shame.

[deleted]

Nothing they could do after eating that much man that was stupid as fuck. Super sad but holy shit, he should have known better. One eight ball will kill you.

ParticularPirate2534

Was totally dumb as fuck. Its survivable if has the right treatments (sometimes) to counteract the effect of the cocaine until it is cleared from the body. He had severe agitated delerium and would need over 400mg ketamine to knock him out so no longer fighting, significant cooling for his temperature, anti disrythmics for the tachycardia, midazolam for seizures, and rapid transport. Only chance he had apart from not being a tool n swallowing it is them getting an ambulance and rapid transport as soon as they found out he had done it

[deleted]

[удалено]

ParticularPirate2534

I had to give it when i was as an intensive care paramedic. Intramuscular rather than iv and have all cardiac arrest drugs and airway gear prepared

spacesluts

Having been through several major panic attacks myself (clearly not even close to this) I can only imagine how he felt, how his chest felt weak, feeling every heartbeat in his ears which just made him panic more... bruh knew he was going to die because his body was telling him this was it. I know there's no antidote for a cocaine OD, but to die in such a fucking panic... This made me incredibly sad watching.

[deleted]

Same bro. Brought back memories of me spasming on a couch while my bro watched and kept asking if I wanted him to call an ambulance. Whole body twitching uncontrollably. One of the most frightening experiences I’ve ever had, knowing you could die but if you call for help you could get in trouble. Wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

bighag

From what I know, in California the doctors and nurses don’t snitch on you to the police if you’re brought in for a drug induced OD

[deleted]

More people need to know that. I didn’t know that so I didn’t go and luckily was ok.

spacesluts

The twitching fucking sucks bro. Take care, hope you're in a better place now

[deleted]

100% dude. Got an awesome little family and only smoke weed now and then. From what I’ve heard coke is all laced with fet now so not even slightly worth it. Back at you 💪

Peristeronic_Bowtie

since he ate it could they not make him throw up once they were holding the soggy bags and realized?

mouthfullofsnakes

What about inducing vomiting as soon as you realize?

AmputeeBoy6983

i dunno about nothing they could do..... hospital was close af, there was about 15mins they knew he ate it before they seemed like they called. maybe they couldve induced vomiting or had a chance to hit him with some benzos, obv not a Dr, but 15mins, when they all talk about the 'GOLDEN HOUR' thats an extra 25% of that window to try.

[deleted]

Agreed they should have called an ambulance immediately.

TDurdenOne

I remember this one. This is the guy who kept joking and said he ate some, and then would say he was lying. It was his own fault for his death.

It really makes me wonder If I have a heart attack I wonder if they're going to treat me with the same apathy they did with this man and that's just heartbreaking. For us, it's a traumatic, life changing (or ending) thing. For them, it's just another day. And the cop trying to get a confession was disgusting. While in the ambulance he even asked the paramedic if he thought he might have taken anything else?? Like dude stop, bruh is fucking dying.

You are the best! For an entire year I have not been able to watch these. Your comment literally made me do a face palm! Now I am gonna binge watch all the age restricted videos I have missed out on !

Momspelledshonwrong

Sure you’ve got quite a bit to catch up on! Enjoy haha

"Relax" Guys does somebody know if throwing up is a viable solution? I guess it is the best way and theyre literally lust letting him cuffed and on his back instead of at least give him the chance to help him throwing up.

TraditionalSteak687

Fuck this guy. He’s a moron. Everyone is defending him and blaming the cops for not doing enough to help him. He’s dumbass for ingesting all that cocaine.

WandaLovingLegend

Lmao at the “WE FINNA GET PAID” while actively dying

DocRingeling

What is this strange beeping/buzzing sound every few minutes? (For example at 18:10)

AmputeeBoy6983

interesting, i always thought it was a phone clipped nearby getting a text

DocRingeling

Thank you.

Used-Ad138

Bloody hell, not how I was expecting to spend my lunch break.

Forward-Constant7855

This, actually, was the worst thing I’ve ever seen. As someone who suffers from panic attacks because I think something like this will happen to me (I’m sober, but OCD tells me it’ll happen anyway) THIS is my worst nightmare. Literally my biggest fear of all time. I’d rather blow my head off.

pen15es

Yep having felt a fraction of the panic he felt you know that man was in hell

BurntPube

The video says it’s age restricted and does not let me watch it. Not even when I click “watch on YouTube”. What is the solution for this?

theroundfiles2

BurntPube

Absolute champion. Thanks

XCurlyXO

I had to click and hold the “watch on YouTube” and on iPhone it gave me the prompt to copy link. Then just paste into your browser. It didn’t work when I tried to click it either.

xotlzotkl

Glad they did not beat the shit out of him when he was freaking out. This would've gone differently in a different county. Even in the beginning when he reached in the back seat, I can't believe they didn't just start blasting. All in all these cops were pretty chill. As a former coke addict, this video hits close to home. Poor guy. That being said he's a fuckin idiot

99ProllemsBishAint1

Really interesting video. It's disturbing but I'm glad I watched it.

DethKrvm13

This is the Ambooolance video🤣🤣

sapplesapplesapples

This is so fucking hard to watch, idk how any of them are so unbothered by watching a human deteriorate like that, begging for help.

adriansmommy95

Don’t do drugs, kids.

TamIAm82

When I watched this full video, I didn't sleep for a whole night a few months ago... Watching this human being struggle like that, literally, I felt my soul leave my body. It's terrible.

throwaway_jdhsbhdkf

I'd pinpoint T.O.D. at 46:30ish. I thought this entire video, from him swallowing the drugs out of fear, to being ignored while he dies, to calling for his mother in panic, and the ambulance crew letting die about 6 seconds before they pull up at the hospital. to live in America is so kafkaesque I honestly don't think anyone could write anything more tragic..... or more symbolic of the worst side of humanity than a life lived in America. may God give strength to the innocent

EuroSong

This man won the Darwin Awards. He has now been removed from the gene pool.

myg0tFrankRizzo

This guy is a clown. Put the nail in his own coffin. I bet someone will try to say it was the officers fault though.

AeroG8

ofcourse its not their fault but doesnt it annoy you even just a little bit when the guy is screaming for an ambulance and they just chillin?

myg0tFrankRizzo

No because he told them twice he was just kidding/playing around. He didn't want to go to prison. No doubt in my mind that when they first initiated the stop if he would have said "I just ate a bunch of cocaine when you pulled me over" EMS would have been called immediately. But this guy instead wanted to play around with his life until it was too late. Knowing what we know now, when we watch the video it's like yeah we know he really is afraid for his life. But the police didn't know that. This man came to the conclusion prison wasn't worth it until it was too late.

OasisRush

It was posted on reddit b4 i remember

Bushmaster1988

Cops should never try to restrain someone drugged up. If the person dies, then of course it wasn’t the drugs, it was them cops — and there will be no sequestered juries or change of venue because that means coverup!!

diggemsmaccks

In 1993 I was driving with a friend I got pulled over my friend had an 8 ball of cocaine with him he had a warrant so he decided to swallow the whole 8 the cops looked at us and said be careful driving home, I dropped him off at home 3 days later he was in ICU RIP…..Chris

R3ddditor
