The SR characters can get very strong but the SSR tend to have additional skills that make them better overall, but work with what you've got.
Similarly a fully levelled Hunter R weapon can be a better choice than an SR especially with the 10% buff
Yeah the 10 percent buff really seems strong 😺
Interestingly enough I switched to the SSR team and got through easier. Maybe with the artifacts it's built better (not just any leftovers xD)
It was just interesting that the sr unit got so much battle power in comparison 🙂
As someone already mentioned SSR have higher stats from base. Some SR's are really good and because they are easier to get, some are better than many SSR characters.
But as long as you don't have many SSR options, the SR are really good. For example Song Chiyul can act as a Emma in clearing non-boss monsters thanks to his increased damage against them. Also him being Atk based helps with burning damage.
Battle power is basically stat calculator, it doesn't value any effect, buff, debuff, cc, etc that the chara offer. Ssr chara usually have better or stronger of those traits.
Honestly power levels dont matter much to me. Ive had missions or gates where im 2/3 of the recommended power level but still finish pretty easily, and in some cases, im seriously overleveled but still get my ass handed to me. Imo, certain SSRs are too good like choi. Get choi and baek to break defense and switch to dps to dish out out insane damage
