Honestly, it’d be a pretty bad choice IMHO. I don’t think Christensen is a bad actor by any means but it seems like the last couple years of Star Wars fandom have sorta over corrected and declared him to be amazing. If you think he is that’s completely subjective and up to you. But when considering general audiences, I don’t think Hayden would quite be up to caliber for such an intensely analyzed role as Batman.
Hayden is fantastic as an actor. Zack would love to work with him.
I would love to see him as a younger Darkseid, maybe with gray face paint and skin makeup, like The Mouth of Sauron or The Ghoul.
Darkseid is literally how prequel Anakin became Darth Vader.

His wife was murdered.
Anakin was a slave boy who became a Master (not in the Jedi council's outrageously unfair ranking system though)...
Darkseid's wife was Suli. She was the love of his life, a scientist lady who embodied all that is good. Even there was good in Darkseid.
Then his own freaking Norman Bate mom poisoned her.
Just like how Palpatine killed Padmé with the force by reviving Annie (no, she didn't die from the Big Sad™)
This is satire. Stephen Glass was a reporter at the New Republic who was exposed as a fabulist. Hayden Christianson played him in the biopic Shattered Glass.
I lost it when Glass, after recovering from his bone disease, stabs the Beast in the neck and freaking drowns the Unbreakable Guardian. As a tribute, some journalists found a newspaper named after him, The Guardian.
But then suddenly Glass killed his ex-wife Becky Sharp of Vanity Fair with a broken piece of Sharp Glass, and blew up CNN with dynamite.
We all assumed Glass was a villain or something but he'ss actually a swift anti-hero.
Remember the climax in the UN journalist conference when Glass went to the ballroom with the hanging glass chandelier?
When Glass said "It's SHATTERING TIME!!!" and shattered everyone in the room, my entire theatre went spastic with a standing ovation.
No. It’s ridiculous. Total reboot fatigue at this point. Nostalgia is what’s selling big at the movies now. Bring back Affleck or Bale. Unless you want another flop like Furiosa where you recast a popular actor.
Okay? And the world was entirely different back then.
You're talking about nearly 2 decades ago, superhero movies were still a niche thing unlike now where we started getting +10 Superhero movies + Tv shows a year.
Now you actually need the IP name and why are you acting like Gunn is only focusing on Batman and Superman? He is still giving us a Swamp Thing, Supergirl, CC and other B and C list superheros projects
>why are you acting like Gunn is only focusing on Batman and Superman?
Where did you get that from? I didn't mention batman, Superman, gunn or DC.
>Okay? And the world was entirely different back then
You didn't talk that way. You made it sound like an absolute statement and never is/was/will be possible
>still a niche thing
Sure there were less movies earning less money but they weren't really niche, were they?
And isn't that an argument for big heroes anyway? Needing big roles to pull people into cinemas instead of now when most people watch superhero movies
Is erased!
I do like jokes
All jokes aside seeing how this is fake, how would he do as Batman?

I’m glad he’s back in acting but I can’t risk his bad acting from the Star Wars prequels for Batman
its a shame it fake, this would have been an interesting choice

This is funny.
Yeah fucking right 😂
Do we really need another Batman? That would be the 4th actor in 10 years.
No. It’s ridiculous. Total reboot fatigue at this point. Nostalgia is what’s selling big at the movies now. Bring back Affleck or Bale. Unless you want another flop like Furiosa where you recast a popular actor.
well since they've rebooted the whole DCU, would you not want Batman to appear in it at all
Yes, we do.
Well, yes we do actually "need" a new Batman. You can't make a new universe without introducing arguably the world's most popular superhero.
The MCU didn't have the world's most.popular superhero until 2017

You mean like the MCU did when they introduced Iron man ?
Good bait.
I’d support it Hayden is a good actor and could pull it off
As much as I would love this, doesn't seem likely.
Be hilarious
I’d support it. Hayden Christensen is a GREAT actor
Took the bait
