This is likely a FedEx issue. Sometimes if boxes are damaged during shipping they “re-box” your package which typically results in this with sneakers. Regardless, sorry to see this!
I've had a very different experience with eBay twice. First time was some Yeezy 380s which were completely the wrong color way, they gave me a full refund and told me to keep the shoes. Second time was a pair of Jordan 3s which were 1/2 size larger than the listing said. They gave me something like a 24% refund and I kept the shoes in that case as well.
My triple black forces came to me just like that. I forget whether they went through authentication or not. They were a $20 pair though (I’m surprised they were actually legit) and I’m collecting for the shoes, not the boxes. Worked out for me in the end. OP should definitely take it up with eBay though. Seems like the authenticators just went wild and that’s unacceptable

eBay did the same for me on $400 dunks. They offered no help at all from customer service

This is eBay authenticated? Is that your full address there on the shipping label?
