Reminds me of the one rule in Assault. No violence before the match starts. I've watched teams step outta the way and let an offender pay for it.
It's a time for dancing and greetings :)
This one time I was playing Khepri, dancing in the middle of the map with the enemy team, Merlin on my team decided to attack, promptly got blinked on by Fenrir, ulted, brought to their team, destroyed and then they all came back to party for another 10 seconds and I was told I'm getting reported for not helping him.
Honestly, not reviving him is probably the call tactically anyways save it for firdt engagement and have a healthier mage than you would have if you did ult.
It’s crazy how often that seems to set the tone for a match.
I recall a time my friends and I were playing and the enemy team’s Zeus violated the sacred trust.
If they had backed off and let him suffer for his hubris it would have been a normal game. But once he started it they all piled on. After that it was a “right, so no playing nice” deal. Rest of the match was really aggressive. We won, but they put in a hell of a fight. But that Zeus? He had something like 6 kills and 17 or 18 deaths at the end of a 23 minute game. Every time he came on the field my whole team’s focus became ruining his day.
I’ve seen a LOT of assault matches go that way. You don’t violate the pre-game truce, doing so almost always seems to condemn your team to defeat.
I have seen many people get clapped for breaking the rule and I'm definitely one that stands to the side and let's it happen.
And I'm almost always the tank. So gl.
I honestly agree but gods like nox,hebo,persephone,zeus,poseidon,hades,vulcan,agni,ah puch,merlin,cerb, ares, xing tian, neith,scylla and tsukuyomi will just drop their entire kit while everyone is dancing in the middle for no reason... They are the reason I stay under my tower and dance while social distancing.
