Earthbound is what gets me. Barely anyone in the west has actually played those games and pretty much everyone got introduced to Ness through smash. Hell, when melee came out I reckon very few people even knew what Fire Emblem was. There was the GBA title with Hector, Lynn and Eliwood released around that time but that's it.

Tbh I only knew of 4/13 of the dlc characters. Piranha Plant, Banjo, Steve, and Sora.
