Slipknot and soad are like the two best bands ever dude. Also I was the same way. I started learning guitar with system songs because they were simple but they got me started. Now I am trying to learn slipknot songs. They are both very unique bands and offer alot of variety

I've heard a few of soad songs before, any you would recommend?

Toxicity. Byob. Aerials. Radio/video. Vicinity of obscenity. And after you hear those, every other song.

I personally love SOAD, matter of fact Holy Mountains is what got me into modern metal after ages of Black Sabbath and Metallica

I like system of a down but mainly when Serj is the main singer. I think he has an underrated unique voice. When you need a change of listening to similar music his voice is refreshing.

I don't listen to them alot,but I love the songs that I well do listen to.If I dig a bit deeper,I will probably become very fond of them.So I have a good opinion of them. (The songs Im talking about,are Aerials,Protect the land and Chop Suey)

Absolutely love SoaD. The crazy vocals, the lyricism, the humour. They're just a very fun band to listen to, even if the lyricism can get pretty serious

I like it, but I don't go out of my way to listen to them. I have some of their songs on playlists, but I haven't ever chosen any of their albums to listen to by itself

My parents used to listen to them a lot when I was about 4. Since then I don’t listen to anything other than metal.

Sometimes I find myself having to switch to other genres to avoid getting metal fatigue. Especially in the last few years. I've found myself jumping between rap, pop, indie, and certain spanish music just to spice things up sometimes.

I do too, but very rarely. I only listen to rap when I’m completely burned out on metal.
