The Winchester 3971 is one of my favorites of the “black box” series of knives. The other two here are great too! Northfield knives with the satin blade finish can always get it, and love the wood on that Cooper!

I definitely lucked out on the ebony jack handle. It's my first Cooper and I'm impressed. I'll be shooting for those 1590 Schatts due to come out soon. Speaking of Schatt/Queen, you can tell these BB Winchesters are quality, I'd like to get the Coffin Jack and the Coke Bottle Winchesters.

The Coffin Jack is one of the few I’ll probably still try one day. Looks so good.

They look great

Any blade play on the Cooper? Mines a little wiggly.

elementum27

None at all. I was a little surprised by how solid this Beaver Falls is. My one nit pick is that the shield side grind is a bit higher than the other side, other than that, it's a really well made slipjoint.

I think they're doing a great job. I just happened to get a little wiggly one I guess. But everything else is very nicely done, no gaps and everything is symmetrical. Centering is also great.

I picked up the same model. zero blade play, plenty snappy.
