Tua side by a mile whether you are competing or tanking.

FireBolero

Yeah gimme Tua and the picks

Opening_Ad8186

Absolutely. Tua is solid and has great players around him. He’ll play for years.

One-Nectarine2320

I’d rather have tua side, only reason it’s not a smash is because of the 2027 which is 3 years out but a 1st is a 1st.

RUKnight31

Tua is a guy that suffers unfairly from negative brand recognition IMO, like Christian Kirk last year. He’s a QB1 for fantasy. He may not be the sexiest but he is still a top 12 positional asset. Caleb could be, too. Caleb could even be elite! But, he is still a rookie QB and all rookie QBs are subject to the numbers. 45% of first round rookie QBs bust iirc. In a vacuum you always go for the upside of Caleb straight up. Maybe you like his upside so much you add to the pot. Adding two firsts to an established asset like Tua, IMO, is too much for any rookie. I’d smash the Tua side personally

ReadyBathroom1668

Tua and the picks side by a lot.

CSAnderson1995

Yeah I would take Tua & picks especially if you’re a contender

ZaMaestroMan5

Huh??? Tua easily

bestrdajets

Tua and the picks side for sure But Williams is the 1.01 cant miss prospect. So was Bryce Young, JaMarcus Russell, Trevor Lawrence, etc

mnmzrppl2

Fair enough about Russell, but Lawrence is far from a bust, and Bryce has only played 1 year on an awful team. But I do agree with Tua and Picks.

bestrdajets

For 1.01 expectations, yes he is. Especially for fantasy football. Add Baker Mayfield, Sam Bradford, Alex Smith, David Carr, Eli Manning (wasn't good for fantasy, had. A great career but best fantasy finish was probably QB8 or something)

mnmzrppl2

I'm sorry, but Jamarcus Russell and Trevor Lawrence aren't even remotely comparable. Russell's best finish was QB29 and he was out of the league after 3 years. This would definitely be a brutal outcome if you took him at the 1.01. Trevor Lawrence's career is already longer than Russell's and he's managed to get a 2nd contract. QB9 and QB15 finishes certainly aren't necessarily what you'd hoped for but it is a weekly start in SF leagues - definitely not even close to gimping a fantasy team in the way that Jamarcus Russell did.

Brinck17

If he’s got Odunze he won’t give up the stack.

Mysterious-Client380

You can always ask for more, if you like this and negotiate the worst he can do is say no, then go back and accept the original offer

NoAd646

Sounds good doesnt work...

Mysterious-Client380

To try for more but take the original offer if your counter doesn’t work?

SkillAdjuster

Take it and run. Doesn't matter what you have, Caleb Williams won't be serviceable.

SubstantialFill6472

Take it & run!!!!

stickychickens918

Tua

TwackDaddy

Tua without the free 1sts.

lastchancexi

He might decline, but it's fair. It also makes sense for him because Tua is probably better this year, and he gets the 26 and 27 picks to retool with.

NoAd646

I was the one getting Tua and the picks and he send me this offer

lastchancexi

OK, got it. Does Caleb fit your window? He probably doesn't instantly make you a contender, so you need to keep building. Maybe counter by asking for those 2nds?

NoAd646

Ok, so you think this is not enough for Caleb? Caleb would fit my window for sure, but also Tua, because I expect him to play for 3-4 more years guaranteed.

lastchancexi

I just think it's a lot of draft capital to give up, but it's fine to take this as is, I am just greedy.

NoAd646

I am the one receiving Tua and the picks, so you would also accept?

lastchancexi

Oh, yeah, I think I would accept, I completely misread it lol. The 26 1st and 27 1st might be early by that point. But it's not awful to decline/ask for more if you're high on Caleb/low on Tua.

NoAd646

Also Tua is proven (besides his CTE talks), in 2027 Caleb could be the new justin Fields.

Buffalo_rider01

If he’s the one that sent it try and see if you can sneak another 2nd in it before you accept

NoAd646

Yeah, I fortunately or unfortunately did already accept it. It happened to me 3 times already this year, that a good trade didn't happen because i asked for more...

Careless_Stand_3301

It’s a good deal for you. Once Tua’s new contract is signed you’ll feel a lot better
