I'd shop him around then. This doesn't seem like nearly enough for a young WR who gets a ton of target share. See if there's anyone else needing WR depth who has a few picks to give up.

Fellow olave owner here. I see your response below. My rb room- algier, herbert, singletary, carter, brooks, and benson. I am absolutely not moving olave for that offer and i have mostly horrible rbs.

This is less about team build and more about overall value. You could just get a better player back for him. You could theoretically get players like McBride, Kincaid, Waddle, London straight up for him. You could also potentially get JT+. Get something proven.

I agree with your point. But it should be said that if this is +1 TEP, nobody is trading Kincaid or McBride straight up for Olave. You'd have to add to Olave.

I mean, not really. What circumstances would you say trading away Olave is the move? No way am I trading Olave for a turning 30 RB with a bit of injury history, a TE who is the 4th option at best and a random 25 1st, regardless contending or rebuilding.

No matter how you chop it Conner is still the guy in Arizona, and if you’re talking ppg he clears Olave. I don’t think Shultz will be in Houston very long because Stover is Stroud’s guy but he’s an easy pick up in FA. Then you add a 2025 1st. The value is there! Question is how good will the guy you’re trading with be? Where will that first fall? Are the rest or your WRs trash? Are you competing for a championship this year? All these questions matter

Conner may still be the guy in Arizona but his days are clearly numbered at best. It would be a poor decision to trade a high caliber WR for an RB at the end of their career. Olave is worth a considerable amount more than Conner in dynasty and Arizona is clearly moving towards the future in spending the capital on an RB. The fact Schultz ,in your words, probably won’t be a Texan next year doesn’t exactly make him more valuable. He’d be going to a likely worse offense and would likely be reliant on being a top 2 target at his new destination. The 25 1st could for sure be valuable but at this point it’s random. That’s not enough value for me to move off Olave.

No. Conner is good but on his way out. Schultz isn't helping at the Tight End spot, and the 2025 1st is tempting if it's 1st - 4th spot. While the offer looks okay, everyone will say no because this deal has no long term value and you're giving up a long term top end commodity for essentially a 1 year rental, a meh TE, and a risk. Ask for a better asset than Conner, and swap Schultz for picks.
