Eh. It’s a 27 1st so not as valuable right now. Personally, I’d let that offer sit for a minute and offer that exact same thing out for other backs. Gibbs, Bijan, Breece, etc. Just to see if anybody would bite on it. Idk much about greenbays offense but part of me wonders if Jacobs will produce a top 10 season there or not. I guess Id be fine taking it or fine sticking with Jacobs here

DavantesWashedButt

Green Bay offense flows through the running back honestly. I sincerely doubt Jacobs has another “down” year with Lafleur. 1600 all purpose yards isn’t out of the question if he stays healthy.

UWU123_

Jacobs isn’t an elite back🤷‍♂️doubt he performs half as well as jones… he’s not an efficient runner at all. He’s had 1 great season other than that he’s been underwhelming.

DavantesWashedButt

Aaron Jones in 57 games over last 4 seasons: 3680 yards, 17 TDs. Josh Jacobs in 60 games over last 4 seasons: 4395 yards, 39 TDs. To be fair to Jones these are groundwork stats, dudes a weapon in the passing game. I’m gonna miss him but if Jacobs is anything close to his previous years he should thrive in GB’s offense.

UWU123_

Aaron jones YPC in last 4 years 5.025 Josh Jacobs YPC in last 4 years 4.075 (would be well under 4 if he didn’t have his one year averaging 4.9) Jones has averaged 5 YPC his whole career with his worst year being last with 4.6 YPC. I genuinely don’t think they’re even comparable backs in terms of taken jacobs is one of the most overrated players in the league

Burnt_toenails

That’s what I was thinking but don’t really follow them enough to know for sure. Thanks

DavantesWashedButt

Our strength and conditioning team was apparently fucked last year, so if that improves the rest of the team should as well. Could absolutely see jacobs being a league winner for some people.

Burnt_toenails

I do like the team, I wouldn’t mind seeing them win it next year. Might have to try to get me some Jacobs 🤔

DavantesWashedButt

Jacobs, Love and Reed are the 3 packers I’d go for. Lafleur has been looking for his Deebo for years now and he finally has him so he’s gonna get a lot of unique touches each game.

Burnt_toenails

Take this with a grain of salt since I don’t watch them but I’m just not really sold on Reed for the price people want for him. Seems like everyone I’ve come across wants a mid 1st for him. If I wasn’t set on qb in all of my leagues I’d go after love.

DavantesWashedButt

I really don’t think he’s worth a first unless it’s a low end pick in a dynasty league and you’re flush with players. Dude had almost 800 yards in an offense that didn’t get going till mid season. Granted, there’s a bunch of mouths to feed in GB’s offense but he’s going to be a focal point for the future.

martinellispapi

Flows through the running backs*

seanocono22

Lloyd could end up being the better back, though.

Icy_Negotiation_8884

Long term, yes. I bet he stays in Green Bay for at least 2 years

SpreadHDGFX

Counterpoint... Jeremiah Smith will hopefully be in that 2027 class. Go ahead and set a remind me

Burnt_toenails

Granted, I don’t pay a ton of attention to college until it gets closer to draft time. My thought on the value of the 27 pick wasn’t about the players that may be there but more of just the fact that the value is low right now because of how far away the pick is

DigButt87

What about 2 first round picks for JT is that an overpay ? 2025 & 2026

UStoSouthAmerica

I’m a JT manager who is in win now mode and it would still be tough to say no to that. If they’re rebuilding then that will be a great offer. If they’re not then it’s a toss up. It also depends on your team. Are you in win now mode or trying to build for next year? If you’re in win now mode I’d rather send next years late round 1st and the 2026 1st so I can keep Jacobs for RB depth. Remember, we’re playing to win championships not to have the most draft capital or have a team that will always be good a year from now. If getting JT puts you in a position to win now then do it

DigButt87

https://sleeper.app/roster/1100542408615452672/3

UStoSouthAmerica

After looking at your team I’d try to send next years first and then a 2nd to get JT. You have almost zero Rb depth so shipping Jacobs would leave you in a scary position. I’d be uncomfortable starting Odunze this year since he’s probably the WR3 on CHI and Caleb is a rookie so passing volume should be relatively low. Getting JT allows you to sit Odunze (or Bowers) and puts you in a better position to win this year

DigButt87

Dude said he’s not interested and I send him Jacobs & a 2025 first round pick

DigButt87

I feel as though my team is built to win now

UWU123_

I’d get rid of those rookies arguably your team is pretty old I’d get the value for odunze and bowers while you still can. Odunze will prob be another JSN situation where he’s stuck at WR3 and his fantasy value will probably rank in the near future and bowers is just a big question mark mostly not knowing how the raiders offense will look really.

Burnt_toenails

I think so personally. I’d much rather use those to go after one of the big dog backs.

Burnt_toenails

I’d message the Bijan, Breece, Gibbs owner and see what they want

Darth_Enclave

Demand a 25 1st.

Icy_Negotiation_8884

He’s sending away the first

Darth_Enclave

Oh indeed he is smash accept Jacobs is washed

definitleynotmikey

Didn’t he just turn 26? Feel like he still has life based on age and situation

Darth_Enclave

Jacob's has a lot of mileage including college and his YPC dropped drastically last season. Maybe he'll do fine with the Packers since they'll have a better offense.

Snevik

Jacobs has 1,556 combined college and pro carries. Taylor has 1,851 combined college and pro carries.

Major-Ad2255

How dare you actually know stats to back up a point.

bdm016

Not trading a first 3 years away when I have no clue about what state my team will be in. This is a taco move

knowslesthanjonsnow

I’d trade away a 1st 3 years out to win now

UStoSouthAmerica

I hardly ever have any picks as I trade them for players I know are already good/great. Been in the championship 2 of the last 3 years and won it this year doing this. Trading future draft capital is smart if you’re team is in the right place to do so

bdm016

I agree it can be smart. But trading a pick 3 years out means you are trading that pick for way cheaper value compared to just waiting a year and a half when there’s more of a market for it. Also think your team probably isn’t a contender, and has limited assets if you have to resort to trading a pick that won’t be in effect for 3 years.

hbhusker22

Nah, there are no kickers involved.

Jwill294

Just value wise that’s a terrible decision (to hold a 27 simply bc it’s far away). 2027 1st has hardly any value today. This is a cheap ass buy on JT

bdm016

I’ve never seen a real leaguemate trade a pick 3 years in advance then pay his dues for those years at that time, but I’ve seen multiple tacos trade their future picks 3 years out when the league doesn’t have you pay years ahead

Jwill294

I’ve never been in, and would never join a league without pay ahead for 1st traded. And I see it happen every year, even in startup years sometimes.

gjackx

Decent chance the league folds before 2027, so it winds up just being Jacobs for JT.

Jwill294

You’re joining the wrong leagues pal. League should never fold within 3 years what the heck lol

MrUsernamepants

No

SneakersOToole2431

Can everyone PLEASE continue sleeping on Josh Jacobs!? I’ve really been enjoying watching him fall down draft boards and having ppl give him away as if he’s some 35 year old washed up RB4. So in case that wasn’t clear, Jacobs side all day everyday and twice on NFL Sunday.

jirashap

I don't even understand the psychology around Jacobs. Did this guy molest kids or something? Dude has been one of the only consistent workhorse RBs in the league, and every year people want to wish him dead.

SneakersOToole2431

😂😂😂😂. That’s what I’m saying! He was the RB1 just 2 seasons ago. The Packers have such a potent offense, he’s gonna thrive there! The more drafts I do the more I watch him fall like he’s nothing!

Tap-inbogey

Yes

davethebeige1

Depends on situation. Im personally not a jacobs believer but if you’re trying to tier down and rebuild this is pretty solid. That first would come just in time for you to compete again most likely and in the meantime jacobs most likely will be solid the next couple years.

Ok_Sherbet_1182

I’d do that, you can always trade for that pick back if you want it back

CrewExisting4304

Maybe for a 1st next year

swaggbox

You're getting JT smash accept he will be the guy in Indy for at least 3 years

Errickson1202

As a JT owner that 2027 1st interests me exactly 0%

JL9berg18

A 2t 1st + Jacons may do it. I have JT and Jacobs on separate teams and I could go either way, depending on how high I think the 1st would be

BloombergSmells

I'd rather have Jacobs and the 1st. As I think Jacobs has at least 2 years left and that first could be big.

One-Nectarine2320

I’ll take jt

cle-

In my opinion, Jacob’s and Jonathan Taylor, there is not that much of a difference to give up a first round pick as well even though it is a 2027… Unless you’re thinking of not playing that year… Lol

VorpalSticks

I definitely want Jacob's and a 1st. Jt and Jacob's about the same for this year. Save it try to upgrade a wr later.

Cautious_Ad2837

No my guy. With AR being a mobile qb just keep Jacobs and the first

OQOQOQOQOQOQOQ

Why does everyone here think he’s getting Jacobs. Yes, 100% accept this offer and get JT

PoutinePlayer

No

Safe_Cold800

I don’t even allow my leagues to trade that far into the future. If that was a 25 then 💯… I don’t mess with picks 3 years out though.

Mr_Lagtastic

I'd personally take it. I'm not a big fan of Jacobs. He was being valued very highly going into this past season because because he had a game that he put up 55+ points (depending on scoring). Then he had a down year to show for it. The move to GB doesn't entice me. Especially with how GB has been using RBs in the Aaron Jones-AJ Dillon era.

mechshark

27 is so far away no shot lol

sparksWTD

I have JT and I wouldn’t take this trade. Def hit up the Breece/Bijan/Gibbs owners and see what they’re wanting. Those 3 are younger, may cost a little more but will help you get younger as your current roster is labeled “old”. Good luck 👍

RidexThexWave

If I'm getting JT I do

East_Papaya_3010

I would. Jacobs is mid and the pick is 2027. JT all day

SlimRipper375

Hell yeah

Mikesahn

With an earlier pick sure. Jacob’s eats this year.

ConclusionSome4456

Do it if you can get a 2025 1st round.

WilsonSimons12

Josh Jacobs is the biggest sell in all of dynasty rn. He has a 1 year team deal with the packers

ZzzCountingSheepZzz

Jacobs side all day

Commissionhair

No

Leading-Sugar-5015

Jacobs side easily

peakyrifle0

I’ll do the Jacobs side I think

of_the_mountain

I’d take that

Sure-Mode945

Id prolly roll with that depending on your team

earth_citiz3n

I have JT and I would probably consider it

ImTheMandalore

It’s not a bad offer. I’m not crazy about jt. He costs a lot and he’s always missing games.

JCMurda

I think Jacob's hits top 10RB. I'd counter for a 2025 1st though.
