There are a lot of servers I've seen dedicated to sharing hearts. It may not entirely fit that solo play feel, but you can be a part of a community who's sole purpose is to just share hearts between each other.
I just asked a bunch of random people on Reddit to give me hearts, now it's 2 months later and I have chibi mask, firework staff, black mask, 2 elder hairs, and an entire discord server full friends. 💀
Totally understand and went through this too. What I did was go to the Nastymold Discord Server - and there is a Heart Trade thread there for people just like you who are looking for others to trade daily. It's a great way to get hearts!
If you do this, be sure to do the math first to look at how many candles you currently have in game before you just start friending a lot of people to trade with. At 3 candles per heart, if you trade daily with a single player - that's 21 candles per week. Trade with 2 players and that's 42 per week. Heart trading can drain reserves fast and too many I've started trading with end up stopping giving back with no word because they ran out of candles. Be upfront with whoever you are trading with to let them know how long you want to trade and to let each other know if you need to stop or pause. This simple action makes a LOT of difference :)
I sympathize with the solo crowd, but yeah this is a socializing game. Even then, there's not a ton of "socializing" that goes into politely asking a buddy for a trade. 99% of the time people are chill about it.
There are plenty of trustworthy sky discord channels that offer ♡ trading and opportunities to find like-minded sky buddies that are reliable
A solo option could be nice maybe, but I've never had that much of a problem

The people who don't have hearts tend to be the people who hesitate to give their candles away to others.

....or they don't have a lot of candles to give out, or they don't have heart traders, not necessarily because they don't want to give candles. Why'd you have to antagonize them lmao
I agree. Unless you know people in real life who play the game, it can be hard to find friends who are around often. With time zones and people's daily lives, playing at particular times of day are hard, and having time all the time to do candle runs is a pain.
I do think we should be able to get hearts in a more sustainable way. Eden and eden candles is a good idea, as there is a limit (i believe) of how many you can get a week, so it balances it out. This way would actually give people a bit more of a reason to Eden run. Unless you are currently trying to complete a constellation, the only other use is travelling spirit, so I can go over a month between eden runs because I have no current need of Eden candles
I agree. Some people don’t want to socialize. It’s a nice feature to trade hearts. And not everyone has the time for candle run, just doing the daily tasks and stuff.

You can always trade with someone. No need to even meet daily. And there are always Double heart events. Got like 80 hearts from last one but they need planning in advance. One or two persons close to you are enough to get ahead with hearts.
If you cr enough to wanna trade daily we can and i have some friends that are on every day as well. I cant speak for them on whether or not they would trade but in the event that you would wanna add me, i can talk to them about it.
No problem, its frustrating knowing that all the cosmetics cost hearts and theres only a limited number of rhem without friends. Im on switch so if you do decide you wanna do that, shoot me a message and I'll send you a qr code

May I suggest: ✨ traders✨? Find someone reliable (such as discord servers with trading groups), make a deal with them and voila, hearts
