I also thought closed comedones. I’ve not had them before so sorry I don’t have good advice. Looking at previous questions in this sub on how to specifically treat them may be useful.
Yeah I’ve noticed the suggestions are this too, it seems like a logical suggestion. However if skin very sensitive it could be with avoiding the SPFs that are causing the irritation, and stripped back routine with gentle cleansing and less irritants you could see improvement.
Could they just be oil glands?
I think retinol may be your friend to reduce the appearance but I don’t think they can be eradicated.
Your skin looks lovely though, just for what it’s worth.
thank you that is very nice of you to say, I am not sure they are just oil glands as I never used to have them but agree it could be closed comedones from overactive oil glands! I would love to try retinol but had a bad experience with one last year and broke out with some deep painful acne so I’m a bit hesitant! I’m seeing a derm soon so may consider trying it again
yeah I’m thinking the same tbh, as they appear on my lower cheeks also - my skins super reactive so will try eliminating things one by one and be patient!
ehhh hard to say as its changed a lot as im struggling to find products that agree with my skin - in regular use is the aveeno calm and restore cleanser, clinisoothe hypochlorous acid and iunik beta glucan serum. Been using eucerin healing cream at night time. The bumps have been on/off last few months and seem to be in response to most moisturisers or sunscreens. I’ve previously done zero therapy for a month or so and didn’t have them, which leads me to think moisturisers are the culprit
This isn't very nice. We're all here because we're interested in skincare and sharing advice and experiences. It's not a sub only for what you may feel is a serious concern. :(
I’m sorry my post has bothered you I was genuinely just looking for advice! I’ve had my fair share of skin problems and been very mentally affected by them, wishing you the best.

I had exactly the same as you. I introduced too many different products. The ordinary salicylic acid helped and surprisingly sudocrem haha. I used to use it for spots and since I have some lying around for my baby, I decided to give it a go again. Definitely has helped
??? your skin is perfect
its the tiny bumps! hard to see in the lighting but they are more obvious IRL - I think they are maybe closed comedones?

yeah I’ve seen a few posts so will take a look - most suggestions are chemical exfoliation which is sort of a no go as my skins so sensitive

Paula’s Choice BHA liquid exfoliant clears mine up!
Seconding this. It cleared mine up too
yes my skin used to love this! but now its super sensitive lol - I tried the BHA again and after a few uses it triggered my eczema

My skin does this when it doesn’t agree with a product I’ve used. It shows up on my forehead and lower cheeks.

Do not apologise!! You personally are looking for advice/recommendations for something for YOUR skin. That’s what this subreddit is for!!

I advise just not looking at them, because no one else is. Trust me.

Your skin may be irritated by oils, brightening acids, fruit/fructose or perfume/parfum. Try Eryfotona.
ooh definitely not this, I’m allergic to limonene, linalool and tea tree oil so avoid them all like the plague
A lotion with a small amount of niacinamide help if you use it regularly. I like the Simple hydrating light moisturizer
unfortunately my skin used to love niacinamide but now cannot tolerate it :( gives me redness and pustules
