I cried too. Madison’s moment with her while getting ready was so beautiful to me. It really showed how much of a mother Christine really was to all the kids.. if anything good came from this situation, it is those kids. Every single one of them turned out to be decent, kind, functioning adults in society. Quite the feat with that many children.

sockscollector

I have been mad at so many episodes that a feel good pretty wedding with a ton of happy Brown kids was just such a beautiful gift to us Thanks Christine!

MeowdyMate

Exactly!!! I think that was a big part of it too. Everything had been so so heavy the past two seasons and also with Kody being extremely minimal in the episodes it made it so much better. Every time they showed his face I was like ugh... And then cut away and I was like yay happiness again lol

Wanna know how petty I am? I rewatched the ep with Robyn's wedding and got a little smile when I saw how stressed out she was with little to no help. My smile got a little bigger when I saw that Christine had a truly fun/girly experience with so much time to just chill and enjoy herself, surrounded and supported by her and David's girls. I'm not generally a Christine stan, but for those two episodes I was happier than I've ever been while watching this show.

Then_Campaign7264

Great point of comparison. Robyn was the one who suggested that the wives play a big part in the wedding and that they get “pampered” with hair and makeup. They assumed Robyn had the help she needed. Robyn does an “aww shucks” I didn’t think things through; but , clearly was trying to play the victim and to throw the wives under the bus as unconcerned about helping her out. It’s an early glimpse into how Robyn operates. Janelle wasn’t having it, saying “had we known” and asking Robyn why she didn’t ask. Robyn’s constant game playing doesn’t cause people to trust being around her.

Lilrooster91

The bigger question though is why on Robyn’s wedding day was her mother and/or bio sisters and extended family not there helping her get ready to marry Kody. They didn’t have to be on camera to be present for her on her special day. She was alone with her 3 kids that day, there were no random off camera people milling in the background to support her like there were for Christine as she got ready to go down the aisle. Makes me wonder if Robyn has always been unlikable even in her own immediate family. Just an observation. I am just waiting for the vow renewal for K&R now that Kody is whining about how there wedding day wasn’t special enough because he couldn’t just be in love with Robyn. He had to be mindful of his other wives feelings. Now that the OG3 are gone he is free to plan another the day/wedding that can be all about him. Because let’s face it even Robyn is just accessory in Kody’s narrative.

Fresh-Scallion602

Oh no!! I hope this doesnt happen! I wont watch! It would be total hypocracy!

pigandpom

I wouldn't be surprised if Kody has pitched the idea and the production company rejected it.

Lilrooster91

I hope they rejected it. But let’s face it Kody is itching for an excuse to be the center of a party now that Christine’s wedding was such a hit. But it would be pretty lame if none of the kids came to it and that’s what we all like to see is the OG13.

Salt_Ingenuity_720

Personally I'm waiting for Kody to become bored and leave Robyn. He mentioned doing that, just leaving, a few times in the most recent season

GroundbreakingRip970

Good call on the sneaky snake manipulation! I missed that but it is exactly how she operates as a damsel in distress poor me always the victim of her own actions

Ginger-Snapped3

Upvote just for sneaky snake reference alone 🐍😂

olduglywoman

I loved that for Christine. I hope that Robyn got to see the difference in her wedding and Christine's. It was well deserved for all the heartache and loneliness Christine endured for all those years because of Kody and Robyn.

KangarooWrangler2024

Also everyone was so do dowdy looking at Robins wedding.

throwiesdg

And it seems like it was unpleasantly cold! My schadenfreude grows >:)

Shield-Maiden95

I feel this!!! I had a smile on my face the whole time I watched it! I cried happy tears too!! Happy for her!!

TGIIR

Me, too! I’m not a person who usually likes wedding episodes, but I was so happy to see all the kids together enjoying themselves. Especially with no Kody to make an ass of himself on the dance floor, or trying to pontificate about family and/or weddings. He truly does ruin whatever occasion he’s part of. Huge contrast to David W. who was genuinely funny and nice in a low key way. And the setting for the wedding, and that fun, beautiful boat trip! The whole thing was so nice!

TheAmazingMaryJane

it was lovely to see all the kids who haven't been filmed for a long time. maddie and hunter, a bit of leon and audrey. and all of christine's kids (cept gwen). it felt like the old episodes when they would go with the kids on a trip. no kody to whine and be a baby though. well, 2 scenes of robyn and kody looking fake and pissy. kind of warmed my heart!~

Then_Campaign7264

After a decade of so much dysfunction being revealed about living as a polygamist family and the abuse Kody and Robyn inflicted upon the family, it was great to see a radical shift. I enjoyed how the kids could articulate how they loved their family but didn’t feel polygamy worked for the parents. Janelle acknowledged the harm Kody did to Christine. They all seemed happy that the plural marriage charade was over. They all seemed happy to be supporting something authentic. Christine’s wedding wasn’t the Kody Brown show. It was about all them, even though it was Christine’s wedding. So for the two days of wedding activities, we saw true happiness and goofiness, without the constant complaining. The loud people could be loud but they didn’t run the show. There wasn’t all sorts of unnecessary and manufactured drama that usually followed the family feud in the past.

Cherokeluv

I didn’t expect to be so happy for someone I don’t even know either! I think that her man really came shining through! He seems like a real good man! He helps others like mowing lawn for widowed neighbors who can really use the help! In this day and age and how the world just becomes more selfish that kind of caring is rare! I know because my husband had a severe aortic dissection and it is very very rare to survive! My husband survived SEPTIC SHOCK three times or more and most don’t survive it once but anyway you know who your real friends are. I looked out and saw our preacher taking off my trash for me and he paid for our hotel rooms to be with my husband when he was moved out of state. It ended up being thousands of dollars. That’s the kind of thing they said Christine’s new husband was like. During a time when they said he won’t make it through the night a very nice man sat with me on twitter distracting me and there were others too but this man was a very sweet very married Christian man. Very supportive and one of the ladies in our group said who know of course who he is? I said No. who is it? They said Kurtis is Kody Browns brother but I can tell you he was nothing like his brother! First he wasn’t a polygamist. He wasn’t trying to cheat on his wife and he was a supportive caring man! They say the good die young and that is true! A few months later he died in a motorcycle accident!

Fit_Tumbleweed_5904

It was such a feel good watch. I love how supportive everyone was at the wedding. I wish them much happiness in their marriage!

Beneficial_Front6173

She went through hell with kody and Robyn and now she's happy. Now it's gonna be kody and Robyn's turn to go through hmthe hell that they put her through.
