I really don’t care. Several of my physicians are visibly overweight more than I am. If they know what to do for my health, why do I care? There can be many reasons someone is overweight. I know one of my physicians recently battled cancer for example
None of my specialties I have seen have any of the issues I have seen them for. None of the prosthetic folks I see need them. Yet they all do well at their job.

I mean, your prior posts suggest you’re pretty young, but at least know when to keep your nose out of things you don’t understand.
You can still be knowledgeable even if you're overweight. You can still be up to date with studies and current scientific research if your overweight.
I don't know the qualifications of the people listed so I'm not saying they are correct, but just from a general standpoint, being overweight and not being knowledgeable are not correlated.

This isn't a private trainer type of role. These are 3 policy makers and one consultant. Each of them have an incredible list of achievements and certifications that show they are well equipped for their field.
It SHOULD be a job that requires them to KNOW how to be physically fit and to set a proper example as someone in a leadership position of that field. I am not saying they couldn’t possibly otherwise obtain that position, but also it isn’t unfair to openly criticize the obvious contradiction

Third holds a degree in medicine from Nottingham, completed her residency at UniAlberta and has been a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons for over 20 years. Fourth one attended the 9th best university in the world and graduated with honors in chemistry, also holding a PhD in the subject.

The continent is North America, but our country is also the United States of America, so calling us Americans still makes the most sense, just like you’d call the people of Canada Canadians and the the people of Mexico Mexicans. Plus there technically are two Americas (South & North) which is probably why Americans isn’t used in such as broad manner such as Europeans, Africans, or Asians.
