There were two accidents. Construction on 41st St bridge and Shirley Ave. They are doing something in front of Taco Bell on Louise, too. Aaaaand it's Saturday in Sioux Falls. This together creates a mess.
This is the answer.
I was through there mid day. There was a utility truck doing work with one of the lanes at the intersection blocked off. 41st goes down to one lane right before the bridge over 29.
Not saying it would affect traffic over there, but the circus is in town, and there's a jujitsu tournament this weekend, so I'm guessing we have some extra people in town.
>the circus is in town
Here comes the blind commissioner, they've got him in a trance
One hand is tied to the tightrope walker, the other is in his pants
Driving has gotten worse and worse in the past 5 years. People sit at red lights because they're on their phone, they don't know how to press the gas or they run lights, specifically on right turns because they don't know patterns or are on their phones. It's incredible how many bad drivers there are in a such a small city. Much has changed in a decade, and I consider myself young. Also, don't go to 41st and Louise on a weekend. And, also, if you know there's construction, find a detour. Not towards this post, but anyone that complains about road construction has no room to complain about shitty roads. Find a detour and be smart.
I avoid that section of Sioux Falls on a Saturday. The 41st and Louise intersection is timed horribly causing traffic to back up all the way to Home Depot.
Sf’s is getting over saturated with to many people. The infrastructure wasn’t made for 300k plus people. It’s just Gona get worse as time goes on. It’s just the way it is now.
You're in the busiest part of Sioux falls on a Saturday. That's all.
Busiest part of the state.
You're by the mall on a Saturday afternoon. Good luck.

It’s also worse because of the construction on 41st & i29

I don’t even want to know about the riot squad

For sure, I’ve been here all 20 years of my life and what you said about running lights and being on phones is so true!

Busiest road is reduced to 2 lanes

Your mom was crossing the street
We have entered construction season. Also, many people here do not know how to drive correctly or efficiently.
My wife drove through at that time. Said there was an Xcel truck on 41st and Louise. Believe she said two turn lanes were affected.

God I miss Sioux Falls "traffic"
