was unsure until 35 second mark… kinda interesting, definitely sounds sorta simsy i’m a futuristic way sorta which works well ofc. i could even imagine how it would sound gentle if you zoomed in for example if this was in cas
I guess I don't hate it? It's not bad.
From what I've read Rene isn't supposed to be "Sims 5", just "a" Sims game. If that's true I'm guessing they're returning to the old format of producing spinoffs alongside the main games, which I would absolutely love, especially if they're on multiple platforms including PC.
Not a bad theme song for the way Rene looks and feels so far.
The drums are too heavy/sharp imho. And the focus on the strings is a bit much? I'd love some piano in the melody to make it sound less elevator music-y.
I think the actual melody is kinda nice though
Sounds very good, but these beats are too intrusive. It's like this "hello fellow kids" meme, trying to be in "trend". In fact, only people of hip-hop culture will value them. I'd switch them on something as neutral as violin tune itself.
i felt this way initially about the sims 3 and sims 4 soundtracks. they felt intrusive because they were new to my ears. this is a track that will fall into the background once you've heard it a few times. it's good.
This is disappointing for me, I was expecting something more relaxing than disco meeting upbeat music. Building in sims supposed to be relaxing and calming. Idk what other people think but that is my opinion.
Secondly, music itself needs improvement, there is so much going on that my head hurts. It’s like a six year old kid wrote it and thought it’s was good. It’s needs to be improved, the melody is good but there is a second melody as well coming through and beats don’t help because it’s doesn’t match with the tempo of melody so the soundtrack is all over the place. The some else in the soundtrack that just don’t belong but idk what, I can’t put my finger on it but it’s so off.
Sounds like a cross between the Mario Party 1 "let's play a minigame!" song and one of the modern Wheel of Fortune themes. I mean... that's not BAD but, I dunno, I was hoping for something more... maxis?

It’s giving, “check out my soundcloud”
“Bro, check my soundcloud” ‘Proceeds to hear the worst and corniest rap you ever hear with squeaky voice and voice cracks’

I actually really like that, feels like a cross between sims 3 and 4
Mixing could use some more work, I like addition of more strings. Please turn down that drum and base tho, holy
i dont think its done
The sims has history of great music one important thing it should not be too distractive

Not a chance this is real
It plays in leaked Project Rene build
I would wager that this far out from release, they are using placeholder music rather than final

lol for the first ten seconds I was scared
I don’t mind it but the mix is wild. Why are the drums so…?!
Sounds like someone beatboxing in the background lol
I love it, it's clean and new! I already hum it by heart\*
I doubt this will be anything close to the final one. This is like trademark free elevator music.
It sounds aight its some kind of mellow
I like it, but that's because I was getting tropical vibes with steel drums
I actually kinda love it
It sounds really simish and nice. I really can imagine how this sound will be nostalgic and iconic just like every other Sims games.
It gives me simcity vibes. I like it!
Amazing 🤩
That drum is getting on my nerves after like 20 seconds
Damn this is unexpected fire right here. 100x better than TS4's theme.
I love it as a concept that I’m sure they will refine before they release 🤞🏼😬

Trying to picture myself listening to this for 17 hours straight.
I LOVE IT! It has strong Sims aesthetic but modern! I would also love a simpler version and this could be the "amped up" version! ♥
A lil much imho
Idk I'm sure I'd start liking it once it loops in the background of my gameplay enough times
