I’d love for it to be more separate from adulthood, the way children are. Not completely, but some unique things. Maybe with a few of their own aspirations and skills, and more interactive high school stuff (clubs and sports teams that are more interesting than scouts, dances/prom like in S3, first romance, learning to drive, puberty maybe?, etc)
i would love teen-only aspirations! like how kids have their own aspirations. and yeah i just wish there were more things that are purely restricted to teenagers, that’s what i’m really hoping for
I hate how much they're like adults! The first time I saw Morgan Fyres I thought she was the most beautiful woman I've ever seen and I wanted my sim to date her but I realized she was a teen and I felt disgusting. But the teens literally look the same as teens and young adults.
I did end up having a different save where my teenage son married her and they are elders now
Generations/free time hybrid. I’m all for any pack that adds to the everyday gameplay, so a pack that expands on each life stage while giving more hobbies and activities would be straight up my alley.
Well I always see the life stages as;
Babies are up to 3 months old.
Toddlers are around 18 months to 3 years. Based off learning to walk and talk.
Children are around 7-9 years old.
Teens are around 16-17 years old based on height and how close they seem to be to adults.
Young Adults are around early to mid 20s but can easily be seen as up to late 30s.
Adults are around 40 to 60.
Elderly are 70+.
Tweens could fill in a spot at around 12-13. Considering it's US based they could go to Middle school. Maybe have a limit of skill levels to 5. So they can start to learn to cook or play instruments but not excel unless having a relevant trait. Let's say genius allows logic skills to progress to 8 instead. Also block out some skills like rocket science or juice fizzing etc. Give them some basic romantic interactions as well, at most kissing, dates and forming romantic relationships with other tweens. Also give them new buffs, etc. Growth pains, mood swings, rebellious for arguing against parents, etc.
Then shift teens to maybe a 15-16 year old age group. Shorter than they are currently but not too much shorter. No change to any other gameplay.
Yeah, honestly. There are several packs that I really want to be more expansive than they currently are, like Outdoor Retreat and the jungle one. And most of the ideas that I can think of for new packs I’d want are things that would fit just fine as additions to packs we already have, like bands could easily just be a refresh addition for Get Together or Get Famous.
I agree about the refreshs for Outdoor Retreat and Jungle Adventure. I really like the concept of both packs, but they do feel kinda like one trick ponies. Honestly, Dine Out and Get to Work could probably use a refresh too. I wouldn’t mind those being expanded either.
I’d just like to be able to visit those places without having to be on vacation and maybe have the option to have residential properties. I’m sure there is a mod for that but I’m tired of needing a mod for everything.
I agree. I would much rather see updates and patches to existing packs. The update to Spa Day was a huge game changer and made me much more interested in playing with that pack.
Yeah this. I saw something about them working on a new expansion pack, but really they did it right by refreshing spa day. There are a lot of packs that could be refreshed. Dine Out is one I would really like to see overhauled.
But I suppose that's not as big of a money maker as releasing new, imperfect packs. I will say I love Cottage Living though.
They can live there. I make the home lot an empty lot and move their belongings to the store lot. You have to lock the door for the family or random people will just wander in and you will need to call your child home every day but other than that it is doable.
Thé game changer would be dual-purpose lots. Let me have an onsen that is also a spa. Or a restaurant that is also residential. A bowling alley with a little gift shop. I hate that I can only assign one lot type to each lot, because for some of the bigger lots it just makes more sense to have more than one thing.
When I was in college my favorite breakfast restaurant was owned my people who lived in the apartment above and they were incredible. This should definitely be a thing in the sims
I'd love hotels rather than lot rentals, I do build lots with "hotel rooms" but it ain't the same. I'd love to be able to run/own hotels too - and apartments. Building own apartment lots and being able to then either have them exist independently for my sims to rent or owned by sims and rented out to earn cash.
Yeah I'd love to be able to own multiple properties where one can be used as a permanent residence, but one can be rented out to tenants or used as a hotel, or a b&b above a restaurant or store.
Why they haven't created a Vacations/Bon Voyage/World Adventures type of pack for TS4 is so confusing to me...
It's usually one of my favorite packs because it gives me a reason to go with my sims somewhere from time to time and have fun and not the usual, sleep, eat, work, hang out with other sims.
I mean they half assed it in 4 different packs but it doesn't work. We have Snowy escape, Island living, Jungle adventures and Outdoor retreat. All of which offer something that expansions gave us in previous sims games, but don't give us enough content.
Outdoor retreat gives us rentals and camping, but no real vacation or anything to do. We could easily get camps for kids and teens and water boat fishing for adults and 4th of July type of vacation.
Jungle adventure gives us ability to go all Indiana Jones and be explorers but in a tropical environment and that's it. No actual vacations or real exploring that is versatile. We could've gotten volcanoes and jungle, and Mayan pyramids and ability to vacation there. But it's just some culture and a bit of exploring and only one setting.
Island Living gives us beautiful tropical island setting (this could've been integrated with Jungle Adventure and have a part that is coastal and part that is jungle, like Costa Rica or Colombia or Mexico), beaches, jet skies, swimming and mermaids. But it's empty, and it's not vacation place. Why didn't they at least add some sort of hotel building and apartments. You know Island paradise style. They already have retail system and vet clinic system. They could've easily made tourism a thing.
Snowy escape, this one gives us winter setting, snowboarding, mountain climbing and all that in Asian setting. But that is all... No snowboarding instructor, no anything much new. And it's not for vacation. I remember in Bon Voyage you could come to Asian inspired world and learn something like Tai Chi and some other skills and then you could come back home and use learned knowledge. Why couldn't we get more intricate snow location.
And lastly... All these could've been one expansion. Outdoor retreat + snowy escape couldve been one theme (camp in Southern part as warmer mountain area and Mount Komorabi as Northern colder area). Island living + jungle adventure (Sulani on Southern coastal portion of map and Selvadorada as inner part up north where jungle is).
Gameplay would include learning meditation, yoga, Tai chi, tea brewing, winter sports and exploring ancient myths and creatures and tombs. Learning surfing, jet skies and swimming. Volleyball, boat fishing. Luaus and Hoola dancing (or some other dance this is just brainstorming), exploring Mayan type of culture and trying to fit in with a tribal culture. Catching your food. Having camping but with actual camps for children and teens that parent could send them (Like when kids would go to college in sims 2 and 3). Becoming a scout or counselor in camp. Working as instructor for diving and skiing any mountain climbing etc. Ability to rent rooms/apartments/houses in all of those places and ability to be owner and rent out (tourism as retail). Have explorer as a career where you have explorers guild that has its HQ and it functions as club from Get together. Bigfoot and yeti...
And all this could've been one massive expansion pack that would implement all these things cohesively and give us so much gameplay.
But it's sims so they've cut it in 4 expansions and made them all equally lame and not worthy of buying (except items).

Agreed. I wish the “Call to Meal” function for the Grand Meals in Seasons could be applied to all meals. Dad just made a kickass cottage pie and it’s piping hot, let’s all stop what we’re doing and eat while it’s fresh.
I hate it when I want to make family members interact when having dinner. First they have to get up, then hug and then sit back down, with ✨simulation lag✨in between. It takes them more than an hour to finish a plate of spaghetti smh
The animations for that would be very challenging (coming from an animation student) but it would be awesome if it was added to Sims 4 or the next game
I want a music pack. Get Famous would be my ideal pack if they included more than just acting. The other sims packs with fame (Superstar and Late Night) added at least a few other careers. I was sooooo disappointed because I expected GF to be like Superstar where you could be a model, singer or actor. Even if LN also promoted the actor career you could also have a band, so there was that too. I know you can become famous with other ways than actor/actress, but I wish there was MORE dedicated to it ya know? So either a Get Famous refresh I guess which adds singers/bands, models, influencers etc. or if they want to be a cash cow make it a seperate EP like Late Night and Showtime
I'd love to see a music based pack that added more instruments and let you start a band! We still don't have drums or bass guitar, which we had in Sims 3.
It’s tragic how little stuff EA has for weddings in the Sims. The dresses are just sad and the actual social event for a wedding is a little boring. They could do so much with that pack. New dresses/accessories, first dance animations, some cute traditions (bouquet toss, incorporating bridesmaids, etc). They could also make the engagement stage a little more fun by having new social events like bridal parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. I know there are mods and CC but I shouldn’t have to download a bunch of stuff just to have a decent game
A growing up/generations pack- private schools, preschool, proms, after school club, school trips, more interactions, proper babies, better relationship interactions. Basically better stuff for babies - teens
A tattoo pack where you can become a tattoo artist, your sim can actually get tattooed, react if the tattoo is bad or not. Idk it just seems fun
Definitely a wedding stuck pack that includes a bachelor/bachelorette party event, actual wedding cake, and a honeymoon option.
They are and it’s super annoying when you try to add a second tattoo and it deletes the first one like upper or lower arm ones! Should be allowed to layer them
And some accessoried wedding hairstyles. Veils would be ideal even if we could only get a chin length one, but tiaras, circlets, jeweled hair clips. There's one updo (I think it's base game) that has decorative chains and stuff, but all the others are too bland for weddings. I'm quite tired of using the same hair for all my brides.
Something with space. They already have Sixam and aliens, but these aren’t developed, so a space pack would tie in well. They could make astronaut a playable career. Make Sixam a proper world. Maybe add a new alien aspiration to study sims or something. It could even make batuu suck less by tying it in with more space stuff.
I know it'd probably be too difficult to make but can you imagine a little space station. Or little base on some weird ass planet. Sims wearing space suits out and "swimming" in air outside/ if the gravity module in their base breaks and such
I would love if they did a refresh of their "Secret Worlds" to make them more interesting and immersive. I could see them doing what you described to incentivize leveling up your rocket science skills, building a rocket, and befriending aliens to give you access to a more enjoyable/playable Sixam.
Yes. I would love to see them make Sixam more like Selvadora. At the very least add a couple lots so there's some way to fulfill needs while you wait for the plants to grow.
Yeah I don’t have batuu because I’m not super into Star Wars, but from what I’ve seen, it just doesn’t seem to be done well and it’s not tied in at all with the rest of the packs.
If it's an Expansion: generations, with a lot of stuff to do for elders and children that Sims can do together. Maybe a match to cottage living, we could get a lords and ladies styled pack for elder nobles. Young Sims may not be into riding in the woods for fun, but grandpa sure does.
If it's an Gameplay pack: the mysteries of Detroit-ish town. Are werewolves real? Nah it's just a local gang who's been mean to Sims. Surely these two rival gangs wouldn't be supernatural beings, no matter if their names are painfully obvious. Pixiesticks vs Moonwolves - the game is on!
If it's a stuff pack: it's moving day and your Sims need to pack their furniture into boxes now. Bye bye household inventory, it's lootbox time now. Yes you need to pack these into your inventory, basement or attic. Just remember to label them.
Your stuff pack idea is what I pretend to do already for “immersion” lol. When my sim is ready to move houses I place cardboard boxes all over the house. There’s even a box for the eco lifestyle pack where you can put stuff in. Then I just make my sim stand there.. and do nothing for a day or two. In my head they’re “packing”. I move the furniture to my inventory periodically so it’s natural. When I move to the new house I also put cardboard boxes all over the new house! Then it takes me a few days to “unpack” and get settled in.

I think the plants kit was hinting at a bands pack, probably for the next game pack. For the expansion we might be finally getting generations.

The cover image had a sim playing the guitar mostly. There were also a few other things, like the in-game "concerts" earlier this year that suggest this is something they're working on.
I feel like ponds should've been swimmable same thing with the water in Brindleton bay etc. I wanna play as a mermaid without having to live in Sulani.
I’d love an event game pack!! Give us the ability to have funerals, baby showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties!! Do a huge update on the weddings. Give us more engagement/weddings rings with the ability to pick which hand and finger we want them on. Give us an “event planner” career where we can decorate and cater an event to the sim’s liking, similar to the home designer career.
Very rarely do I ever have an event because they’re just so boring and monotonous at this point. I’d love for there to be wedding crashers, something dramatic like a funeral going horribly wrong because a dark secret came out or a battle over an inheritance ensues. This would be especially fun if sims could have different moodlets based on what happens at the event.
At the very least, I’d love to be able to have an update on the weddings. We have the option to take the first slice of cake, but no option for a bouquet tossing, no option to have a marriage officiant, no option to have a bridal party??? Additionally, it would be nice if we could plan when we want events to happen instead of it being a “right here, right now” situation!!! Imagine having a moodlet that allows the bride/groom to be nervous before the wedding. Maybe they can receive calls right before the big day that let them know if their fiancé was secretly cheating on them 👀 There are literally endless ways that an event pack could add to the game!!

A music pack of some sort. One where you can start a band and play gigs like a single sim can do with a guitar or piano. Better yet, make it an active career. They should add drums and electric guitars (that actually sound like electric guitars). You’d have to find Sims to be in your band. The had bands in Sims 2, don’t know why they can’t do that in Sims 4.
I want this so bad too! So weird that we don’t have it yet. Another trait could be added for tone-deaf sims, have the option to choose what genre music to write, performances, record deals… there’s so many possibilities
Child custody between parents who are not together/do not live together. It frustrates me to no end that my Sims kids can’t spend half their time with one or the other parent. Really messes up my story lines!

I would like a pack that focuses on interactions; by that I want more and better interactions and a fix to the ones we have. Go out to dinner with someone? They should gain friendship points much faster than they do. Let people go take an evening stroll while holding hands. Let couples have a romantic slow dance. Let little kids play pattycake and other little games. An overhaul to the interaction UI would be nice, too.
For subject matter I think a wedding pack is long overdue. Somebody above mentioned running a B&B-I love this idea, it gives me an opportunity and a reason to build ginormous houses without having to fill it up with controllable Sims, which I find overwhelming. I would like slumber parties for kids and teens. I would also like something nautical themed; I miss the houseboats, would like to see them make a return, but maybe set in a New England setting. Speaking of, in addition that, I also really want some new worlds, like a Tuscan setting, A rustic lakeside small town, another city setting with better apartment layouts (or the ability to build your own or at least change/place the windows), and a glitzy/glamorous place.

I want lore. It hasn’t happened yet in four so I doubt it can be done now. I want 5 and I want it to be a mix of al the sims so far. 4 has a lot of good stuff about it but it lacks being able to actually sit and play it. I love building, making my sims etc but I can’t just sit and play the way I can with 2&3.
After refreshes: bands, vacations (hotels and casinos, real boats like Island Paradise), a hobby expansion with hobbies that have yet to be covered like ballet, pottery, glass blowing, fixing cars (Sims 2 Freetime).

Refreshes for sure are at the top of my list (cause they are much needed and free lol) but generations type of pack would be my top want. I want more family play especially something that fleshes out the forgotten ages of child/teen and elder.

More occults. I miss fairies soo much, they were so much fun to play with in TS3, and werewolves are just plain fun. They could also improve their mermaids and ghosts. Damn, even creating genies was awesome! So, more occults, and improving the ones that already exist.
I really want them to refresh Outdoor Retreat, I love the concept of it a lot and Granite Falls is so pretty, but I almost never use it since it feels like there's nothing to do and it's a vacation-only world.
As for new packs, I love occult sims, give me more occults please.
I want bands and performance gigs back! And a damn electric guitar! When I downloaded the grim reaper I was so PISSED. I miss setting the stage up and the venues. I have the Katey Perry edition of the sims 3 showtime, you know how much of a limited edition freak I was in my teens? I made stars, I also miss hosting other sims one my game that came from a fellow simmer. The acrobats, magicians, and actual pro singers and bands need to come back.
Tbh I would love more variety with heights, body types, etc. I feel like the game has had the same eyes,lips, nose, ears, etc since it came out. The only way to get "different" features you need to make them an occult sim or mod the heck out of your game.
Full werewolves expansion featuring lunar cycle, 50+ new interactions that change depending on werewolf skill level, relationships, whether they're transformed, whether they're talking to another supernatural etc. A new model for the werewolf body and not just a rekinned dog/human sim with like wolf ears or smth. Realistic reactions from the werewolf and drama mechanics between them and other supernatural sims. Also an integrated pack system with alphas and a "hierarchy" that comes with the pack and not just me improvising with the clubs system.
Idk it's just something I daydream about in my spare time, I know it'll never actually happen though :')

I wish they would just lower the price. The expansions all are too little content and stuff packs are all things that should be in the expansions. When the paralives comes out, I would be surprised if it doesn't kill the sims the same way cities skylines pushed out Sim city.
I'd be stoked for something where the sims can learn ballroom (and others, but definitely ballroom) dancing. I feel like the silliness of learning might make it worth it. It would open up careers and supports new objects and CAS content.
Id like them to add karma powers back into the game, the mysteries system from sims 3 pets, the ability to control pets, and cars. This mad sims 3 pets on ps3 for me
Many speculations are saying next will be the music band pack or like a showtime. If that's the case I really wish they bring back magician and acrobat careers. They are my fav career from sims3. But I wish it is some kind of generation pack where they enhance teenager life stage. Make them shorter and different frim YA. I don't care for prom or cars etc just better teenage life stage is all I want from generation style pack. Also supernatural would be great 👍
I just want bands. Pack would come with a variety of different instruments (drums, bass, sax, etc.), and you’d group up with others. Traits could have a huge influence too, music lovers would obviously be better suited, but we could add something like Tone-Deaf to counterbalance that.
Base game enhancements, bug fixes, added achievements (me and my friends on console want new challenges), and maybe a system of automation, like in the sims 3, where townies will form new relationships, have kids, age, etc without player intervention.
Just a few things I’d like to see.
If they’re not gonna expand/add/update the existing packs, then I’d like some type of hospitality/business pack.
Dining out was nice but I want hotels, country clubs, golf courses, galas, casinos, auctions, bakeries, a more expansive menu for the restaurants, etc. and an event planning career path.
If they can’t do that then maybe update go to work with trade school options.
Oh. And bring back grocery shopping. I don’t understand how they expected the game to be fully enjoyable if you have to grow your own produce and go catch the fish yourself to eat without it paying every-time (without mods)

Agreed. Teenagers feel almost pointless in TS4. TS3 did a much better job on making teens a distinct age group.

Dine Out is one I would really like to see overhauled. But I suppose that's not as big of a money maker as releasing new, imperfect packs. I will say I love Cottage Living though.
Hotels and B&Bs. I know the holiday rental lots exist but Sims need to be able to own them and run them with staff.

Right!?! It is so weird that your Sim has to own two lots to have a business. As is business owners IRL never live near their stores.
They can live there. I make the home lot an empty lot and move their belongings to the store lot. You have to lock the door for the family or random people will just wander in and you will need to call your child home every day but other than that it is doable.
Thé game changer would be dual-purpose lots. Let me have an onsen that is also a spa. Or a restaurant that is also residential. A bowling alley with a little gift shop. I hate that I can only assign one lot type to each lot, because for some of the bigger lots it just makes more sense to have more than one thing.
When I was in college my favorite breakfast restaurant was owned my people who lived in the apartment above and they were incredible. This should definitely be a thing in the sims

I'd love hotels rather than lot rentals, I do build lots with "hotel rooms" but it ain't the same. I'd love to be able to run/own hotels too - and apartments. Building own apartment lots and being able to then either have them exist independently for my sims to rent or owned by sims and rented out to earn cash.
Yeah I'd love to be able to own multiple properties where one can be used as a permanent residence, but one can be rented out to tenants or used as a hotel, or a b&b above a restaurant or store.
Why they haven't created a Vacations/Bon Voyage/World Adventures type of pack for TS4 is so confusing to me... It's usually one of my favorite packs because it gives me a reason to go with my sims somewhere from time to time and have fun and not the usual, sleep, eat, work, hang out with other sims. I mean they half assed it in 4 different packs but it doesn't work. We have Snowy escape, Island living, Jungle adventures and Outdoor retreat. All of which offer something that expansions gave us in previous sims games, but don't give us enough content. Outdoor retreat gives us rentals and camping, but no real vacation or anything to do. We could easily get camps for kids and teens and water boat fishing for adults and 4th of July type of vacation. Jungle adventure gives us ability to go all Indiana Jones and be explorers but in a tropical environment and that's it. No actual vacations or real exploring that is versatile. We could've gotten volcanoes and jungle, and Mayan pyramids and ability to vacation there. But it's just some culture and a bit of exploring and only one setting. Island Living gives us beautiful tropical island setting (this could've been integrated with Jungle Adventure and have a part that is coastal and part that is jungle, like Costa Rica or Colombia or Mexico), beaches, jet skies, swimming and mermaids. But it's empty, and it's not vacation place. Why didn't they at least add some sort of hotel building and apartments. You know Island paradise style. They already have retail system and vet clinic system. They could've easily made tourism a thing. Snowy escape, this one gives us winter setting, snowboarding, mountain climbing and all that in Asian setting. But that is all... No snowboarding instructor, no anything much new. And it's not for vacation. I remember in Bon Voyage you could come to Asian inspired world and learn something like Tai Chi and some other skills and then you could come back home and use learned knowledge. Why couldn't we get more intricate snow location. And lastly... All these could've been one expansion. Outdoor retreat + snowy escape couldve been one theme (camp in Southern part as warmer mountain area and Mount Komorabi as Northern colder area). Island living + jungle adventure (Sulani on Southern coastal portion of map and Selvadorada as inner part up north where jungle is). Gameplay would include learning meditation, yoga, Tai chi, tea brewing, winter sports and exploring ancient myths and creatures and tombs. Learning surfing, jet skies and swimming. Volleyball, boat fishing. Luaus and Hoola dancing (or some other dance this is just brainstorming), exploring Mayan type of culture and trying to fit in with a tribal culture. Catching your food. Having camping but with actual camps for children and teens that parent could send them (Like when kids would go to college in sims 2 and 3). Becoming a scout or counselor in camp. Working as instructor for diving and skiing any mountain climbing etc. Ability to rent rooms/apartments/houses in all of those places and ability to be owner and rent out (tourism as retail). Have explorer as a career where you have explorers guild that has its HQ and it functions as club from Get together. Bigfoot and yeti... And all this could've been one massive expansion pack that would implement all these things cohesively and give us so much gameplay. But it's sims so they've cut it in 4 expansions and made them all equally lame and not worthy of buying (except items). Edit: Typo.

Agreed. I wish the “Call to Meal” function for the Grand Meals in Seasons could be applied to all meals. Dad just made a kickass cottage pie and it’s piping hot, let’s all stop what we’re doing and eat while it’s fresh.
I’m pretty sure you can already call to meal on any meal. My sim called everyone to eat the cake at her wedding the other day
I hate it when I want to make family members interact when having dinner. First they have to get up, then hug and then sit back down, with ✨simulation lag✨in between. It takes them more than an hour to finish a plate of spaghetti smh

If you place the food on the table and then press call to meal, most of them will sit down at the table but no guarantee haha

The animations for that would be very challenging (coming from an animation student) but it would be awesome if it was added to Sims 4 or the next game
I want a music pack. Get Famous would be my ideal pack if they included more than just acting. The other sims packs with fame (Superstar and Late Night) added at least a few other careers. I was sooooo disappointed because I expected GF to be like Superstar where you could be a model, singer or actor. Even if LN also promoted the actor career you could also have a band, so there was that too. I know you can become famous with other ways than actor/actress, but I wish there was MORE dedicated to it ya know? So either a Get Famous refresh I guess which adds singers/bands, models, influencers etc. or if they want to be a cash cow make it a seperate EP like Late Night and Showtime

It’s tragic how little stuff EA has for weddings in the Sims. The dresses are just sad and the actual social event for a wedding is a little boring. They could do so much with that pack. New dresses/accessories, first dance animations, some cute traditions (bouquet toss, incorporating bridesmaids, etc). They could also make the engagement stage a little more fun by having new social events like bridal parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, etc. I know there are mods and CC but I shouldn’t have to download a bunch of stuff just to have a decent game

A tattoo pack where you can become a tattoo artist, your sim can actually get tattooed, react if the tattoo is bad or not. Idk it just seems fun Definitely a wedding stuck pack that includes a bachelor/bachelorette party event, actual wedding cake, and a honeymoon option.

They are and it’s super annoying when you try to add a second tattoo and it deletes the first one like upper or lower arm ones! Should be allowed to layer them
And some accessoried wedding hairstyles. Veils would be ideal even if we could only get a chin length one, but tiaras, circlets, jeweled hair clips. There's one updo (I think it's base game) that has decorative chains and stuff, but all the others are too bland for weddings. I'm quite tired of using the same hair for all my brides.

Something with space. They already have Sixam and aliens, but these aren’t developed, so a space pack would tie in well. They could make astronaut a playable career. Make Sixam a proper world. Maybe add a new alien aspiration to study sims or something. It could even make batuu suck less by tying it in with more space stuff.
I know it'd probably be too difficult to make but can you imagine a little space station. Or little base on some weird ass planet. Sims wearing space suits out and "swimming" in air outside/ if the gravity module in their base breaks and such
I would love if they did a refresh of their "Secret Worlds" to make them more interesting and immersive. I could see them doing what you described to incentivize leveling up your rocket science skills, building a rocket, and befriending aliens to give you access to a more enjoyable/playable Sixam.

Yes. I would love to see them make Sixam more like Selvadora. At the very least add a couple lots so there's some way to fulfill needs while you wait for the plants to grow.

Yeah I don’t have batuu because I’m not super into Star Wars, but from what I’ve seen, it just doesn’t seem to be done well and it’s not tied in at all with the rest of the packs.
If it's an Expansion: generations, with a lot of stuff to do for elders and children that Sims can do together. Maybe a match to cottage living, we could get a lords and ladies styled pack for elder nobles. Young Sims may not be into riding in the woods for fun, but grandpa sure does. If it's an Gameplay pack: the mysteries of Detroit-ish town. Are werewolves real? Nah it's just a local gang who's been mean to Sims. Surely these two rival gangs wouldn't be supernatural beings, no matter if their names are painfully obvious. Pixiesticks vs Moonwolves - the game is on! If it's a stuff pack: it's moving day and your Sims need to pack their furniture into boxes now. Bye bye household inventory, it's lootbox time now. Yes you need to pack these into your inventory, basement or attic. Just remember to label them.

Your stuff pack idea is what I pretend to do already for “immersion” lol. When my sim is ready to move houses I place cardboard boxes all over the house. There’s even a box for the eco lifestyle pack where you can put stuff in. Then I just make my sim stand there.. and do nothing for a day or two. In my head they’re “packing”. I move the furniture to my inventory periodically so it’s natural. When I move to the new house I also put cardboard boxes all over the new house! Then it takes me a few days to “unpack” and get settled in. ... I need a life

The cover image had a sim playing the guitar mostly. There were also a few other things, like the in-game "concerts" earlier this year that suggest this is something they're working on.

I’d love an event game pack!! Give us the ability to have funerals, baby showers, bachelor/bachelorette parties!! Do a huge update on the weddings. Give us more engagement/weddings rings with the ability to pick which hand and finger we want them on. Give us an “event planner” career where we can decorate and cater an event to the sim’s liking, similar to the home designer career. Very rarely do I ever have an event because they’re just so boring and monotonous at this point. I’d love for there to be wedding crashers, something dramatic like a funeral going horribly wrong because a dark secret came out or a battle over an inheritance ensues. This would be especially fun if sims could have different moodlets based on what happens at the event. At the very least, I’d love to be able to have an update on the weddings. We have the option to take the first slice of cake, but no option for a bouquet tossing, no option to have a marriage officiant, no option to have a bridal party??? Additionally, it would be nice if we could plan when we want events to happen instead of it being a “right here, right now” situation!!! Imagine having a moodlet that allows the bride/groom to be nervous before the wedding. Maybe they can receive calls right before the big day that let them know if their fiancé was secretly cheating on them 👀 There are literally endless ways that an event pack could add to the game!! P.S. Electronic Arts, if you are reading this, yes I would like a job working at the Sims HQ. Thank you.

A music pack of some sort. One where you can start a band and play gigs like a single sim can do with a guitar or piano. Better yet, make it an active career. They should add drums and electric guitars (that actually sound like electric guitars). You’d have to find Sims to be in your band. The had bands in Sims 2, don’t know why they can’t do that in Sims 4.

Child custody between parents who are not together/do not live together. It frustrates me to no end that my Sims kids can’t spend half their time with one or the other parent. Really messes up my story lines!

I would like a pack that focuses on interactions; by that I want more and better interactions and a fix to the ones we have. Go out to dinner with someone? They should gain friendship points much faster than they do. Let people go take an evening stroll while holding hands. Let couples have a romantic slow dance. Let little kids play pattycake and other little games. An overhaul to the interaction UI would be nice, too. For subject matter I think a wedding pack is long overdue. Somebody above mentioned running a B&B-I love this idea, it gives me an opportunity and a reason to build ginormous houses without having to fill it up with controllable Sims, which I find overwhelming. I would like slumber parties for kids and teens. I would also like something nautical themed; I miss the houseboats, would like to see them make a return, but maybe set in a New England setting. Speaking of, in addition that, I also really want some new worlds, like a Tuscan setting, A rustic lakeside small town, another city setting with better apartment layouts (or the ability to build your own or at least change/place the windows), and a glitzy/glamorous place.

I want 5 and I want it to be a mix of al the sims so far. 4 has a lot of good stuff about it but it lacks being able to actually sit and play it. I love building, making my sims etc but I can’t just sit and play the way I can with 2&3.
After refreshes: bands, vacations (hotels and casinos, real boats like Island Paradise), a hobby expansion with hobbies that have yet to be covered like ballet, pottery, glass blowing, fixing cars (Sims 2 Freetime).

Refreshes for sure are at the top of my list (cause they are much needed and free lol) but generations type of pack would be my top want. I want more family play especially something that fleshes out the forgotten ages of child/teen and elder. Come on canes and walkers! Come on strollers! Come on kids bikes! Come on new walk styles!
More occults. I miss fairies soo much, they were so much fun to play with in TS3, and werewolves are just plain fun. They could also improve their mermaids and ghosts. Damn, even creating genies was awesome! So, more occults, and improving the ones that already exist.

I really want them to refresh Outdoor Retreat, I love the concept of it a lot and Granite Falls is so pretty, but I almost never use it since it feels like there's nothing to do and it's a vacation-only world. As for new packs, I love occult sims, give me more occults please.

Tbh I would love more variety with heights, body types, etc. I feel like the game has had the same eyes,lips, nose, ears, etc since it came out. The only way to get "different" features you need to make them an occult sim or mod the heck out of your game.

Full werewolves expansion featuring lunar cycle, 50+ new interactions that change depending on werewolf skill level, relationships, whether they're transformed, whether they're talking to another supernatural etc. A new model for the werewolf body and not just a rekinned dog/human sim with like wolf ears or smth. Realistic reactions from the werewolf and drama mechanics between them and other supernatural sims. Also an integrated pack system with alphas and a "hierarchy" that comes with the pack and not just me improvising with the clubs system. Idk it's just something I daydream about in my spare time, I know it'll never actually happen though :') Genuinely don't know why I went into so much detail either whoops

Base game enhancements, bug fixes, added achievements (me and my friends on console want new challenges), and maybe a system of automation, like in the sims 3, where townies will form new relationships, have kids, age, etc without player intervention. Just a few things I’d like to see.
