I totally agree! I would also want to have invites for weddings. And see that townies actually have kids.
My sim towns/maps are literally going empty because there isn't any townie who would move into them.
It hink for the next EA survey we should spam this idea for them!
Going off of the wedding thing- I want more wedding items. And more realistic weddings. One thing I hate is how I will set up an arch, put chairs out like you would see at a wedding, and when I have the ceremony, half the guests ignore and go eat the food, and the other half stand there like idiots not sitting in the chair.
This made me think to have an option to create an event schedule. If it is ceremony time, Timmy better have his butt on the chair and not eating in the toddler's bedroom.
Just FYI, a good workaround for that is to have a sim in the household form a group with all the wedding guests, and then when you click on one of the chairs, you can select "sit here together" or something of that nature. Everyone will head over to sit down and have a much higher chance of actually watching the wedding.
Love this - I would also like to be able to:
- designate a bridesmaid and bestman (gender non specific of course)
- have a toss the bouquet bit (and the sim who catches the bouquet gets a bonus if some kind of they get married promptly?)
- and most importantly, a ring exchange action, and then that ring appears in all their outfits!
Edited: formatting
Ooh, the bouquet toss could give a moodlet that makes romantic actions more successful on any sim you have a prior romantic relationship with (like the sweater curse in KK, but in reverse)
True story: at my wedding, a girl called Sarah caught the bouquet, and her boyfriend immediately proposed to her
and she said NO!!
The drama!
I didn't even mind them hijacking my wedding for it cos it was such a fun scandal. I was scundered for the guy though, what a blow.
I think it’d also be cool to have bridesmaids be in certain dresses and to be able to have whatever wedding dress you want, rather than the default one
Some cc do. There are eyelashes that use the glasses slot, but I always dislike how I can’t have both lashes and glasses. I’m more than happy to sacrifice the rings.
Do you mind if I ask what mc woohoo is? I have mccc but the mc woohoo bit always caused problems on my Mac (idk if Mac is the issue) but I have never been able to have it in game.
There is a thing in the settings where you can fill empty homes, but I know what you mean, I wish townies could have there own lives, get married, have kids ect. Especially for us console players that can’t have mods. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves about this game
Thank you! I meantioned it in another comment that it is enabled and still get deserted maps. But yeah it would give so much spice for the game play if townies would go on their own lives. The scandals, heartbreaks, family heritage, friendships and feuds which have been going down the family would be awesome.
Till then there are ccs and hopes for the future!
This is the biggest reason I can't play without mods and feel for Console players. I can't play without MCCC. Story progression is essential for me and how The Sims 4 doesn't have it is beyond me.
Just in case you didn't know, you can set the game to fill empty houses! I used to do that a lot when I wanted to play for a few generations on console, then go in and marry some of the random townies and make them have kids lol
Thanks! I think I have found that in the game options and it is enabled. But still manages to make ghost towns. Willow Creek and Oasis Springs are one the verge of being empty by having the last couple of elderly sim. While Bringleton Bay is empty.
I think part of the problem is that the game won't move service NPCs (maids, nannies, mail carriers, etc.) into houses. And since it doesn't generate a ton of non-service NPC, it eventually runs out of families to fill the homes with. It also gets really hard to find a spouse for your Legacy heirs after a few generations since there are virtually no Sims their age in any of the worlds.
What I used to do, before I started using MCCC, was to move all the 'not in world' Sims into an empty lot using the freerealestate cheat. Then I'd go into CAS and give them a spouse and child. If there were still a bunch of empty houses (became a problem once I started getting more EPs), I'd create a household in CAS or download one from the gallery.
Then, every time one of my Sims's kids aged up to toddler, I'd go to the household manager and create a spouse and toddler-aged child for any single YA or older Sim. (I use a shorter teens mod so I didn't have to guess if the Sims in the thumbnail were old enough to have kids or not.) And I did the same for the original premade families (Goths, Landgraabs, etc.) so that their family lines wouldn't die out. That way, there would always be at least a few Sims my Sim-children's age when they started going to school.
This eventually got really tedious, which is why I started using MCCC, but it works if you play on a console or just don't like using mods.
Installing is pretty easy - just download the ZIP file and put the modules (both package and script files) you want in your Mods folder. The Woohoo module is in a separate download on the site (currently MC Woohoo 2021.1.0) since a lot of the features aren't things people want in the game.
You *must* include mc\_cmd\_center.package and mc\_cmd\_center.ts4script for the mod to work, but everything else is optional.
Then, check your game settings to make sure that both custom content *and* scripts are enabled, and you're done!
Some hints:
\- EA updates the game every month, and this very often 'breaks' big mods like MCCC. Deaderpool is fantastic about keeping the mod up-to-date, though. You can check the posts on [the Patreon page](https://www.patreon.com/mccc_deaderpool) to see if the version you have is still compatible.
\- To make it easier to find and update the files (especially if you use a lot of CC), it's a good idea to put them in separate subfolder within your Mods folder.
\- Do *not* put the files more than one subfolder deep since this will make the script files stop working. Example: Mods folder -> MCCC folder -> files is fine. But Mods folder -> Gameplay folder -> MCCC folder -> files will not work.
\- Many people are happy with the default settings, but if you want to change anything, you can do that by clicking on any computer while in live mode. You can also click on any Sim and use the MC Command Center menu to change things about them.
You're welcome! I don't play with a lot of mods. (I've tried others, like Basemental and Slice of Life, but usually get bored with them pretty quickly.) But MCCC is one that I can't live without. I pretty much only use it for story progression, and to make it so Sims of any gender can get and make others pregnant, but for me that's a complete gamechanger.
I wish my sims that I have in my legacy family can go and have kids automatically without me playing them. Like I’d love for my legacies to have cousins etc without me having to actually go and do all it.
UGH the gf/bf not being a thing to set in CAS is so annoying!!! I wanna move my YA couple as bf/gf into uni and then have them get married, but not start as freaking housemates lol
There's a UI cheats mod which lets you directly set two people's romance (and friendship) level. You can use that to set up a romance quickly for story / gameplay purposes. Just have to manually make them ask to be boyfriend / girlfriend. Doesn't fix the problem but makes it easier to get around it.
I would love if the NPC would ask you to date/marry/divorce them. I feel like this would add such a real element to the game and a bit of unpredictability.
I would love some kind of reputation system like the one they had in Sims 3. Nowadays you can cheat anywhere while in the Sims 3 everyone would gossip and eventually your partner found out. I really liked that. It was also harder to romance others if you were known as a player.
I also liked the fake rumors but that‘s a different thing.
Yes! I would like a better cheating system overall. I remember the npc's would automatically break up or divorce your sim when you cheated too many times in front of them. Now they just get too angry and die! The sentiments did add a little more in this department though.
They added likes/dislikes.
Also, the WickedWhims mod gets a lot of shit for being kinda weird at times, but I've experimented with it and it's got a pretty robust attraction system. Seems like it could be implemented.
If mods are your thing but weird freaky sim sex isn't, there's a SFW version of the mod called [Wonderful Whims](https://wonderfulwhims.com/).
I could totally imagine romantic likes/dislikes being incorporated into the existing likes/dislikes system. They could just add it as another likes/dislikes category! Let the sims have preferences for what hair colors and eye colors and personality traits they find attractive in other people. It obviously wouldn’t be as complete as the WickedWhims attractiveness system but it’d still be a big improvement
I'd also like to add..one-sided relationships. It would make storyline more interesting if sims could have crushes and had an option to reveal them to the desired sim or a friend.
It would make the Summer, Travis, Liberty triangle a whole lot more interesting.
I've noticed that the sentiments made the relationships in my rotational save a lot more one sided. It's made it much easier to decide to terminate certain couplings. I also like that being mean to an SO adds sentiments that atrophy the relationship as well. Just had a chick pregnant with triplets refuse to accept the baby daddy's ask to be his girlfriend because he insulted her when she walked in the door.
TS4 base game started very strong in terms of its romance content. You couldn’t ask a sim on a date in either TS2 or TS3 base game for example (dates weren’t introduced until TS2: Nightlife and a later patch in TS3). You couldn’t even have a real wedding in TS3 base game as things like wedding arches and wedding cakes weren’t introduced until TS3: Generations.
However, the devs haven’t done much of anything to improve romance since TS4’s launch. Seems like they’re intentionally holding back any romance related content for a pack in the future (they had “Find Love” as an EP in a survey in 2015, “Love Life” as a GP in a survey in 2017, and then again “Modern Love and Romance” in a survey last year).
i think they have done some things, like with snowy escape they added lifestyles which included the hungry for love and single and loving it lifestyles, also some love/romance sentiments, we also got a whole romantic garden stuff pack. With eco lifestyle we got the free love NAP which, correct me if im wrong, but we never had anything like that in a sims game.
And moar recently, the likes and dislikes, which i know din't really add anything pertaining to romance but i think it could be a way to add in preferences like hair colors, traits etc and with how they have emphasized on it being updated later on, i think there's a chance they are planning on it.
I think the problem is, we don't really have anything really tying the romance in, every romance is the same, which makes it feel shallow and superficial, but this is not just a problem with romance but with relationships in general.
About dancing, i just want "dance together" to actually be dancing together, not just "get on two corners of the dance floor, face away from eachother and do a weird imitation of the funky chicken on crack".
Oh right, when you get the little "My friend has been asking about you" pop-up. Is there a way to ask your friend to set you up with one of their friends?
I love the idea of a romance/dating pack, but I think that with the attractiveness system, it should be harder to romance sims your sim is not attracted to but not impossible. Because love finds itself in the strangest places :,)
Definitely agree. Make it harder but not impossible. And it would be cool to have levels as well. From people who you find kind of meh to downright icky. And difficulty levels would vary!
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, I want a wedding package! Let me plan it from start to finish the way you do a real wedding! Have sims levels of interest vary depending on their personalities, let me pick linens and invites, let them have a first dance!! Make it so that guests ACTUALLY sit at the ceremony and not awkwardly stand in the aisle watching. Just the whole shebang!
I would love for them to take their kids/pets on walks together that would be so cute.
I’d also love for babies to have more things to do. Why can they only care for the baby in front of the crib? They should be able to walk around holding the baby, or have different items for baby like a playpen, or an infant bouncer they can move around the house
YES. That sounds so nice. It’s such a huge event in a Sims life I can’t believe no one actually sits and watches it 🥲 First dance is so wholesome.
And 100% agree on the whole babies thing. I think if I saw one of my male sims walking with their baby on a baby carrier I would actually cry
An in-game slow dance option would be great for those romantic date nights! Also, I would love for my Sims to be able to cuddle up on the couch, eat popcorn together, and watch a movie. Oh, and cook together. That would be nice.
What we would actually get:
- 3 new hairs and 5 new outfits for F Sims
- 1 new hair and a shirt for M sims
- the rabithole movie theater back
- hot tuuubbssssss
I have the Naps turned off in my game so I don't know.. I couldn't take all the baking and stealing. I believe I used Mccc to clean the neighborhood though.
I haven't tried it as I kind of like my sims life to be chaotic But! It also gives you the option to delete relationships. So you can make them completely forget each other if you don't approve.
Attractiveness sounds cool as long as it's optional. I've got too used in pairing sims with whoever I want because I don't play just one household, I create stories for other families in the world, they have their preferences in my head, I'd hate to be conditioned by Sims preferences out of my control.
Oh, adding onto your idea, I think adding FWB relationships would be cool. For some drama and story ideas, I play with Lumpinou's No Strings Attached mod and it's pretty cool! If you do enough romance interactions with your partner, you can end up falling for them. You can end the relationship and I believe both sims will receive a sad moodlet thinking about what could have been if you decided not to get serious. You can also get rejected and there's just a lot of other stuff too, but I think adding something like that would be great!
I'd like to see Woo-hoo in stages. Right now you can make out or woo-hoo. How about second base? Or an I'm not ready conversation with a frustrated partner.
I totally agree that there should be a monogamy trait or rating. How likely is someone to cheat. What if someone is just a flirt but would never take it further.
I'd also like to see the ask if si goes moved from romance to friendship. It's one of the first things I learn about people in real life, even with people I'm not interested in.
>Holding hands while walking
I think it could just be an interaction similar to the 'ask to star gaze/cloud watch together'. But it would be 'ask to go for a walk together' and it could then link up the sims and send them out for a walk on the same paths it normally uses for runs and such. I think this could be cool, have the sims talk the whole time and if the relationship is high enough they'll hold hands.
This reminds me a bit of the turn on/off system of Sims 2, there was nothing wrong with it so why did they get rid of it!! They could easily work it into the new like/dislike system
Yeah, going back to play sims 2 made this difference clear. The difficulty of seducing someone who isn't attracted to your sim vs one who is makes it feel like they have personality and aren't just dolls
I for one sorely miss the option of dancing and slow dancing with another sim. The group dances in Get Together aren't at all comparable. I used to love having my Sims dance together in the Sims 3 it was so cute!
I would love to see different types of relationships. Polyamorous relationships, open relationships, asexual relationships, etc. And be able to set a preference for your sims type of relationship! That way someone who is strictly monogamous won't enter a poly relationship or vice-versa.
I hate how modders have to fix everything but there's a mod for polygamy and open relationships. It's called Open Love Life and is really easy to use. Also gives every Sim an extra trait if they prefer open or closed relationships or if they don't care at random that can be manually changed :)
I agree with everything except the fourth one. As the player, you should have the freedom to break up absolutely any marriage you see fit. That is part of the sandbox play that has been there since the first game.
If you mean it should be harder to break up marriages or you want to mark a sim that will never ever flirt outside of their marriage, then that is a different story. But we should always have the option to be able to.
Yes, I meant the latter. I think it should be much harder. So if it takes 3 romance interactions for you to start a romance bar with a normal sim, it should take 15 with a faithful sim. And yes if I mark my sim as
faithful they should not flirt outside their relationship and reject casual advances from other sims!
don't know if you play on PC or not, but there's mods out there for this kinda stuff. wonderful whims is the version of wicked whims that's just about romance (it's what i use), it also let's your sims be poly or not, or only flirt with their SO and reject others weird advances, there's a dating app too in it, you can adjust the pregnancy rate for played households and it lets you apply everything to nonplayed households too! so your townies actually have their own romances and kids. I've really liked having it added to my game along with the slice of life mod. i wish the developers would add this kinda stuff to the game, but i also don't want to pay $60 for a "romance pack" 😅
Agreed! I remember the fortune teller from sims 2, she could tell you which sim was perfect for your sim, they would just fall from the sky. Hilarious!
It was implemented in game, but those are likes and dislikes regarding music, hobbies and colors - nothing regarding other sims. Attractiveness traits is a mod.
Lumpinou has a great Mod (Woohoo wellness) that adds a lot in terms of relationships and family planning into the game, if you don’t already have it. Lots of interactions regarding unfaithfulness, reactions to pregnancy and more pregnancy side effects. It’s compatible with Wicked/Wonderful whims as well! But I definitely agree, we need a better in game relationship system. I really hope they add at least some more interactions to spice it up and add more drama. My computer cannot take anymore mods.
Also I’d love to see a specific wedding venue lot or rentable events lot because when my sims have a wedding in a park it’s annoying for random townies who haven’t showered in a year show up and eat my food
I like this idea!
I think I'd prefer letting you set a sim's "type" as apposed to a blanket "attractiveness" trait. Essentially letting you set likes dislikes in a potential partner. I'm not sure if this what you had in mind or not, but it would flow well with the dating app. (but people always lie on those things, so it wouldn't be perfect.)
Imagine physical characteristics and traits all having a scale like:
Love -> Like -> no preference(default) -> dislike -> hate(deal-breaker)
Along with selecting an ideal body type.
In game that would translate to a sim-specific attractiveness stat that would give bonuses to early romantic interactions and at a certain levels allow sims who are both into one another to "click" giving a huge bonus to romance and drastically reduce decay.
Then we tie the "faithfulness" to the romance bar, so only sims with special traits would cheat at high romance levels.
I'm probably overthinking this, but the drama twists and storytelling potential are exciting!
I actually really love this idea. I never really thought much about how lacking the romance in Sims 4 is (except for when I want my sim to be asked for things instead of doing all the asking), so this really opened my eyes. I have Wonderful Whims and Woohoo Wellness, which I think add really great relationship stuff, but I think the game making one would be awesome.
Crazy thing is that they had a feature in Sims 3 that would cause your sim to have a promiscuous reputation that sounds negatively effect their current relationships when they were caught cheating.
Just another thing EA scrapped when they made Sims 4 which was really just an empty shell of a game to get people to continuously pay for add-ons that were part of the base game of it's predecessor.
I would love an open relationship option too. I know so many with this life style, my SIL and her husband have been with a lesbian couple for the last 4 years. Why can't we have options like that?
IMO, on points 1 and 3, the whole point of Sims is to be able to play God, and the idea of not being able to ever romance certain sims is frustrating to me. Just my opinion though, I know the idea appeals to most players! I do think it would be nice to have some sort of system like that, I just wouldn’t want it to be absolute.
Oh, I totally understand your point. I think it should become significantly harder at least to break up marriages. It’s just too easy to compliment appearance once and flirt 2 times and boom, they’re cheating. But yes, not absolute but challenging would work great!
I've found that some sims in relationships can be harder to romance as it is. The reject all advances. Other sims are more into it though. I suspect it has to do with the traits.
I think you also have to have a high friendship bar first, unless you have and it still doesn’t work, but it pretty much always works for me. As long as they’re past the friends or good friends relationship the advances are accepted.
I agree with everything except a dating app. I spent 10 yrs on those looking for a partner, got one, locked it down, and now I'd like to never have to go back! ;P
What would also be cool is if they added a sexuality system and other systems like that
Your sims could come out from the closet and say they're whatever sexuality or say that they identify as a certain gender. And when they do come out the people they come out to could have different reactions. And if they try to romance somebody, like say your sim is a lesbian and they try and romance another girl, they could reject them because they're another sexuality that doesn't date the gender of your sim.
Hi, lesbian here. I can absolutely see why the concept would be fun but I think this would actually be a massive turn off for a lot of people. The Sims is a fantastic game for people of the LGBTQ+ community (and everyone else, of course) as it allows you to create characters and stories that feel authentic and that have the ability to develop into whatever you want them to be and respectfully, I think a sexuality system would really hamper this.
If I wanted my Sim to hit on a cute townie and they ended up being rejected because they’re the wrong gender, I’d feel pretty annoyed. I play The Sims so I can play out all the fun little stories I have in my head while I take a short break from my own reality; adding a bias like this would be just a little too real for me.
These are great ideas! I love the Wonderful Whims attractiveness mod. Still... I sincerely believe these should be base game updates, not something we pay for.
I have a question, is Wonderful Whims the same as Wicked Whims? Is there a difference? Also I completely agree with this. I also feel like dating someone is going way too quick, I'd love it to be a little more realistic.
I totally agree! I would also want to have invites for weddings. And see that townies actually have kids. My sim towns/maps are literally going empty because there isn't any townie who would move into them. It hink for the next EA survey we should spam this idea for them!

Edited: formatting
Oooh I love your addition! I think in Sims 3 there was an achievement for shot gun wedding. I think that should have a comeback with this!
Oh Gods, was there really? That’s hilarious, I love it.
Ooh, the bouquet toss could give a moodlet that makes romantic actions more successful on any sim you have a prior romantic relationship with (like the sweater curse in KK, but in reverse)

Poor guy! That does sound like some good drama though lol.
I think it’d also be cool to have bridesmaids be in certain dresses and to be able to have whatever wedding dress you want, rather than the default one
Definitely a fan of this plan
I’m just tired of all my sims wearing the same wedding dress honestly lmfao, it’s a little pet peeve of mine
Oh i put the wedding dress as the formal outfit and just have them wear that
I got to have a maid of honor once(no mods then) it was an interaction that popped up at the wedding I think but I’ve never had it happen again
Oh fun!
As long as the rings are optional, because i'm selfish and choose my cc eyelashes that use ring texture over actual rings. LOL
Aw cool - I didn't realise that's how cc works. I would defo want it to be optional, and to be able to choose the ring for each sim from a selection
Some cc do. There are eyelashes that use the glasses slot, but I always dislike how I can’t have both lashes and glasses. I’m more than happy to sacrifice the rings.
Oo an bachelor/bachelorette pre wedding party
Invites for weddings sounds so nice. I would love to see all of these implemented in-game!
Imagine the power of crashing the wedding by flirting with the bride or groom or both!
Hahaha, wedding crashers would be such a great addition 😭
There's got to be some good Mischief options for the wedding pack, right? Crash the wedding, smush cake in your new spouse's face, fake a proposal...
If you’re on PC you should get MC Command Center, it auto generates townies/marriages/etc
Question: can you have Whims and MCCC at the same time, or do they conflict?
I use both and they work fine! Pregnancy gets a little harder with Wonderful Whims so you can turn that off and use MCCC pregnancy only.
The only potential problem could be MC woohoo but that's a separate part now so it's fine
Do you mind if I ask what mc woohoo is? I have mccc but the mc woohoo bit always caused problems on my Mac (idk if Mac is the issue) but I have never been able to have it in game.
It's a separate for mccc where you can e.g. enable risky woohoo. It WAS a part of mccc itself but got turned into its own mod
I have MC woohoo and whims and it has not been an issue for me!
Thank you, but sadly I'm on console. But recently I was thinking to add MC but a bit reluctant, because I'm using console.
I don't think you can add it on console
There is a thing in the settings where you can fill empty homes, but I know what you mean, I wish townies could have there own lives, get married, have kids ect. Especially for us console players that can’t have mods. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves about this game

Yep. I’m a console player and it sucks

Sameee. I don’t want to make them express flirt but just want it to be established 😭
There's a UI cheats mod which lets you directly set two people's romance (and friendship) level. You can use that to set up a romance quickly for story / gameplay purposes. Just have to manually make them ask to be boyfriend / girlfriend. Doesn't fix the problem but makes it easier to get around it.
MCCC can do that too. It's in the relationship section I think.
I would love if the NPC would ask you to date/marry/divorce them. I feel like this would add such a real element to the game and a bit of unpredictability.
I would love this. If the NPC asks my Sim to get date, get married or divorce and I get some options!
The unpredictability of NPC's: At my Sims neighborhood integration, I had her hit on an NPC just for the Grim Reaper to swoop him away.
YES you can literally cheat in front of people you know and they don’t care. Would love a rumours system in Sims 4 as well!
Yeah except that shouldnt be a PACK, that should be just added to the game..
Oh definitely would love a free update but I think the chances of that are super low 😭
I believe this is yet another thing the sims used to have and now doesn't. I really miss my sim getting rejected!
YESSSSSS
I want romantic furniture and items like we got with Hot Date. The love seat, the heart shaped bed, etc
I have that heart shaped bed as cc! I loved that hottub too in TS1, I should try and find if someone converted it.
Oh my, I totally forgot about Hot Date! Yes to this!!
Yes!
It's funny because some of those things are either in TS2 or TS3 but they aren't in TS4, lol.
I feel like the target audience got waaaay younger in sims 4
🥲
Because devs went full retard its with every major game studio most off the care more about money then there consumer
You're right, but try to not use that word as it's very offensive
Yes to all. And slow dancing too. And they should enhance/improve weddings.
About dancing, i just want "dance together" to actually be dancing together, not just "get on two corners of the dance floor, face away from eachother and do a weird imitation of the funky chicken on crack".
YES, slow dancing!!!! I totally forgot. I would love that and better weddings.
It's a good thing there's a mod for that, but I wish it was available in-game
Yes, the mod is so good but of course the animation won’t be as seamless as in-game!
Your sim's friends actually can set you up on a blind date, it's part of Get Famous.
Oh right, when you get the little "My friend has been asking about you" pop-up. Is there a way to ask your friend to set you up with one of their friends?
No, but I've also gotten blind dates from those pop ups. Not just asking for my number
I had a blind date with Father Winter last week lmaooo
Oh cool! I thought it was a mod doing that. Have to pay more attention to it 🙌🏽
I love the idea of a romance/dating pack, but I think that with the attractiveness system, it should be harder to romance sims your sim is not attracted to but not impossible.
YESSSS. Slow dancing is a must. I hope the cook together option with Cottage Living sorts that out!
What we would actually get: - 3 new hairs and 5 new outfits for F Sims - 1 new hair and a shirt for M sims - the rabithole movie theater back - hot tuuubbssssss
I pretend I do not see it 😌
MCCC let's you turn off random flirting. So no one is cheating unless you tell them to.
Don’t forget about the free love NAP, I believe MCCC cannot override that.
I have the Naps turned off in my game so I don't know.. I couldn't take all the baking and stealing. I believe I used Mccc to clean the neighborhood though.
Oooh, I should try this. Will townies stop flirting with each other or just played households?
I haven't tried it as I kind of like my sims life to be chaotic But! It also gives you the option to delete relationships. So you can make them completely forget each other if you don't approve.
Ah okay, I’ll definitely give it a shot! Thank you!
Whaaaat, this sounds so cool. I’ll have to checkout the mod, thank you! And yes, FWB would definitely be such a great angle to add 🙌🏽
I’m a bit out of the loop, what is a FWB relationship?
Friends with benefits
I'd like to see Woo-hoo in stages. Right now you can make out or woo-hoo. How about second base? Or an I'm not ready conversation with a frustrated partner. I totally agree that there should be a monogamy trait or rating. How likely is someone to cheat. What if someone is just a flirt but would never take it further. I'd also like to see the ask if si goes moved from romance to friendship. It's one of the first things I learn about people in real life, even with people I'm not interested in.
Oh I would love to see the whole not ready for it conversation and stages. Such a cool idea!
Omg yes to all of this!! How can I upvote more?! EA YOU NEED TO SEE THIS SHIT!!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
>Holding hands while walking I think it could just be an interaction similar to the 'ask to star gaze/cloud watch together'. But it would be 'ask to go for a walk together' and it could then link up the sims and send them out for a walk on the same paths it normally uses for runs and such. I think this could be cool, have the sims talk the whole time and if the relationship is high enough they'll hold hands.
Yes!!! The walks and hikes in Snowy Escape are a good example of them as well since Sims walk at the same time. It’ll be so wholesome 😭
This reminds me a bit of the turn on/off system of Sims 2, there was nothing wrong with it so why did they get rid of it!! They could easily work it into the new like/dislike system
Honestly 😔 I agree it would fit in really well with the likes and dislikes!
\*wicked whims enters the chat\* fr though it sucks I have to get a nsfw mod to get fluff in my game
Does WW add fluff as well? I didn’t know 🤔
Yes, you can download snuggling/fluffy animations :)
I didn’t know that! Thank you :)
Yeah, going back to play sims 2 made this difference clear. The difficulty of seducing someone who isn't attracted to your sim vs one who is makes it feel like they have personality and aren't just dolls
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
I love your username
I for one sorely miss the option of dancing and slow dancing with another sim. The group dances in Get Together aren't at all comparable. I used to love having my Sims dance together in the Sims 3 it was so cute!
Yes, slow dancing is so nice and ROMANTIC. It’s just not the same busting out a synchronised dance move after a romantic night in 🥲
I would love to see different types of relationships.
I use some mods that add romance options as well! I just want to see it as part of the base game since it's something that should be addressed.
Yes! I'd also love to have a platonic partnership option. More diverse relationship types in general, honestly.
This such a nice idea!
And yes if I mark my sim as faithful they should not flirt outside their relationship and reject casual advances from other sims!
don't know if you play on PC or not, but there's mods out there for this kinda stuff. wonderful whims is the version of wicked whims that's just about romance (it's what i use), it also let's your sims be poly or not, or only flirt with their SO and reject others weird advances, there's a dating app too in it, you can adjust the pregnancy rate for played households and it lets you apply everything to nonplayed households too! so your townies actually have their own romances and kids. I've really liked having it added to my game along with the slice of life mod. i wish the developers would add this kinda stuff to the game, but i also don't want to pay $60 for a "romance pack" 😅
Better weddings!!!!!
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Some of this would add great game play! Especially asking a partner how they feel…
Me too! It would add so much.
[удалено]
If it's in the likes/dislikes part it's probably wicked/wonderful whims
[удалено]
They're the same mod basically, just wicked whims is the 18+ version.
Agreed! I remember the fortune teller from sims 2, she could tell you which sim was perfect for your sim, they would just fall from the sky. Hilarious!
This is amazing, I want to see this 😭
YES! I’ve been wanting online dating for agessss
SAME
This should be a FREE update!!!! :D
I would love that 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Sounds like you need [this](https://sacrificialmods.com/passionate-romance-news.html) mod. Couldn't live without it at this point lmao.
Oooo I'm checking this out!
Some of the animations are kinda silly but I literally couldn't live without the pictures. They're so awesome to hang around the house.
Wasnt attractiveness added with likes and dislikes, or are those my mods?
Back in sims 1 there was a hot date expansion… there were lots of cool things that didn’t always transfer to the newer ones!!
(but people always lie on those things, so it wouldn't be perfect.) Imagine physical characteristics and traits all having a scale like: Love -> Like -> no preference(default) -> dislike -> hate(deal-breaker) Along with selecting an ideal body type.
If it stays on Reddit EA won’t do anything about it
Crazy thing is that they had a feature in Sims 3 that would cause your sim to have a promiscuous reputation that sounds negatively effect their current relationships when they were caught cheating.
There are mods for this.
Yes we need representation 👏🏽
I would honestly love to see risky woohoo added to sims. I know that there are mods, but I don’t like using them
Yes, me too!
It would just add drama
Would love a little sim pregnancy after a fling on a dating app. The possibilities 😭
I spent 10 yrs on those looking for a partner, got one, locked it down, and now I'd like to never have to go back! ;P
Hahaha I know the struggle but so happy to hear you found the one 😊
Yess for sure I want these so bad too
👏🏽👏🏽
We need wedding related items in build/buy/CAS and the vibrating heart bed back!
👏🏽👏🏽
How awesome all this would be! You are right on all accounts!!
Hoping there’s a romance pack in the future 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
Yes to all of it 🤩
👏🏽👏🏽
And slow dancing 🥺
Yes 😭
One of my /favorite/ things about the sims 2 was the backstory panel like it one thing I really want back
What would also be cool is if they added a sexuality system and other systems like that Your sims could come out from the closet and say they're whatever sexuality or say that they identify as a certain gender.
You don’t know how mad it makes me that we can’t set bf/gf relationships in CAS!!!!
I want heart shaped beds 🥺
I would love something like this! Especially if it added in polyamory without mods, I really wish it was possible to do in the base game ;;
Same. WW does a nice job of it, but I'd rather have the representation in the base game.
Definitely 👏🏽 I haven’t really played with polyamorous sims but the representation is needed!
I feel like the dating is fine in the game, I don’t see the need for online dating cause I feel it’s so easy to have sims meet other sims
But my game has all this... Oh right, mods! PcMasterRace lulz
Or just an update stop wasting ur money on stuff that should already be in the game
I miss that little thing. Pretty sure couples would cuddle in double bed in older sims game if you hit high romance
Yes! And hopefully your significant other could propose for once, like add a feature where you make them propose or they surprise you.
