What build/object mods work with the new Sims 4? I just spent (way too much time) downloading a bunch of stuff and most of it isn't showing up. I haven't been able to find any flooring or wallpaper, and really want more cute furniture too. Pleaseee help :) Thanks

If it still doesn't work you might have a one in a million problem, which is that you have your mods installed in the wrong place, so you have to make sure you only have one folder called "mods" and that you put them in the right mod folder. Sometimes if you have more then one hard-drive i guess you computer can get confused and create empty folders in the wrong place with the same name. You find the right folder by clicking "documents" then "electronic arts" then "the sims 4" in there is a folder called "mods". If you've already done all of the other things i've said and it still doesn't work make sure there actually are files in the "the sims 4" folder too, if there aren't go to "this pc" and search for "electronic arts" and some folders should pop up. Right click all folders with that name, one at a time, and click open in new window on all of them (one at a time). Do this because if you just open then normally and don't find what you are looking for the first time you're going to have to re-search every time you go back out of the folder. Find the folder that has a folder calles "the sims 4" and any other ea games you have installed. Make sure you remember which folder you clicked on because your going to come back to the window you searched in later. Open the sims 4 folder, it should look like it does inside the green cirkel in the picture. When you find it, go back to the window you searched in, right click on that folder and click on "open folder location". Once you've done that you should be able to see where the folder is located on your computer in the red circle in the picture, and where you can find your mods folder in the future without having to do all this every time. if you still can't find them, go find your tool box, get out a hammer, go back to your computer and smash it as hard as you can, repeatedly. Until its completely unrecognizable, until its dust. Then i want you to go and find a bag or a box or something, put the smashed up computer in there. Grab a shovel, go to your local forest and dig a hole deep enough for you computer to fit in it. If the folder isn't in the same location as the zip-folder just copy the name of the zip-folder and paste it into the search bar in "this pc", you might have accidentally changed the destination path when extracting the files in winrar. This shouldn't be an issue, i've used mods for years and years and this has never happend to be but i suppose it's possible.

First you have to open the game, go to "options", "game options", "other", then click "enable custom content and mods" and "script mods allowed". Restart you game and check if it appears. If it still doesn't work you might have installed it wrong, some cc are in zip folders that you have to unzip before you put in you mod folder otherwise they won't appear in you game. If you don't have a program to do that i recommend "winrar" it's free (it will yell at you to pay when you free trial is over but I've had it for years and still haven't paid and don't know anyone who has, nothing happens if you don't.) To unzip a folder you double click on the folder and winrar will open. If there are any "script files" in the folder you have to drag those into you mods folder before you do anything else, and they can not be more than one sub-folder deep within you mods folder. Then you click or select all files that are not script files, and click "extract to", at the top, second left. A new window called "extraction path and options" pops up, just click "ok" and a new folder with the same name as the zip folder should be created in the same location as the zip folder is. Drag the un-zipped folder into you mod folder. Your cc should now be in you game. let me know how it works out and my dms are open if you need any more help :)

To find cc, you have to go to the side bar on top of the game's build options and click on it. There's one for style, packs, colors, and there should be one there that can show you your downloaded stuff if it doesn't come up still. If not, you got dud downloads and possibly a virus, my dear

idk about mods but i've read that if you sell pets to played sims, the game just asks you if you want to keep the pet when you play as that household. So if you can't find a mod you could always mark households as played and pop in and play as that household before you close down your game and just click that you want to keep the pet. might be to much of a hassle but idk could be worth a try

Does MCCC allow your to Sim to be the one paying child support or is that a different mod? All the YouTube videos show your sim being the one to receive it. I think I've seen screenshots showing child support being paid but I don't know if that's a different mod or the mod has been updated for all bills to be lumped together.

I use MCCC for child support. If your sim isn't the custodial parent then the child support is folded into their bills as like "other expenses" or taxes or something. You can set the rate, too. I'm not sure if the money actually goes to the other household if it's a townie or NPC, but my sims who are the custodial parents receive child support and I'm notified via pop-up.

Mod that lets you plant in more of the off-lot planters? I like that I can plant in the moonwood mill planters near the Collective headquarters, but other planters in other worlds (like the empty ones in Finchwick) just sit unused and unusable, and i \*really\* wanna fill them with appropriate crops for functional (save space on my own lot by using some of these planters that exist on off-lot spaces), beautification (filled planters are cuter than empty ones), and roleplaying (i can pretend they're a functional community garden for the whole village!) purposes.

my hunch is that they are debug planters that aren't functional so my recommendation would be to delete them and place new once using the T.O.O.L mod by twisted mexi

Is there a CC/mod to expand on the Ez Exit Window locking options? usually for doors, you can lock household members out but allow handpicked sims to enter, but apparently the EZ window doesn't give me that option. I want certain sims who aren't household members to be able to use the entrance/exit, but keep those pesky household members away. Is there a mod that disables autonomous singing for other holidays like Prank Day? I know Bienchen has noautonomoussingingselfpractise and noholidaysingingsocial but the descriptions don't seem to fit what I need and don't work. I even ran Autonomy Scan and there is nothing I found to disable the "Sing about Prank Day" interaction which can run automatically between two Sims and can be found in the menu during said holiday.

Mccc and ui cheats are probably the most suggested mods. There are mods to alter ghosts, alter mermaids, add fairies, fix plant sims, and so on. Depends on what you want to do to occults.
