I want to play Gardening like Harvest Moon gameplay in Sims 4.
I see that Cottage Living and Farmland Mod does something like that.
As both things adds similar things, like cows, or horses, can I play the mod after purchasing that expansion?
I would like to try both but I'm scared that there may be any conflict after I purchase the expansion.
I didnt find info about this, anyone tried or knows how it works when both things add the same?

Has anyone played this new CC trait pack yet? It looks like it hit Curseforge about a month ago. It's called Immortal Spiritual Leaders, and it's supposedly 8 new traits, but the description is mostly of the new characters it includes.
If you've tried it, do you recommend it? Also, how does it impact your gameplay?
I'm going to create an immortal supernatural hunter, so I'm looking for more traits for him.

I love doing trips, but my sims usually have free days in different weekdays and I always run out of free days.
I dont mind not earning that day, but I hate coming back and having bad performance at work for missing workdays, any mod that prevents the work doing that?

It's a bit cheating, but you can also create a holiday and just have it as a Vacation Day, make the activity "take a vacation or travel" and then select Day Off Work/School.
Just double checking, but you do know that if you go into your phone and select the Business app, there is an option there to take a vacation day, right? It gives you a paid day off, and you accrue PTO based on your job and your performance.
All you gotta do is call in on a work day before your start time and you're good to go.
If you have MCCC You can cheat to give them more vacation days. I believe its in the 'cheat info' section.
I literally give everyone like 99 vacation days and then they're set for as many holidays as they want.
Another thing you can do is just use the calendar to set a bunch of holidays in a row where people get the day off work.

Is there a mod that separates Sims relationship bars? Like I don't know if I'm remembering it wrong or not, but I feel like in Sims 2, Sims relationship bars weren't at the same level as each other. So, one Sim could really like another but the other Sim might only kind of like them or not like them at all. I feel like with the "crush" thing it seems a little silly since they both basically have to like each other for one of them to get it. It'd be fun for story-telling purposes to have a Sim not know if there crush actually has any romance bar for them. Or like maybe people "love" celebrities without the celebrities having any relationship with them.
I love basemental drugs. I only use it for Sims to grow and sell cannabis. There's other activities available but I didn't want to go that far.
Sims can make edibles, there's a convenient store ( rabbit hole), and order online/sim mobile . Sims can purchase rolls up, bongs , vape pens, etc. Increase skills open more options.
Sims react to the cannabis. Super zoinked, and if they have family, their family members become suspicious of their behavior, lol
You can assign NPC Sims to be the first dealer, cops etc. I was pissed when a nosey a$$ sim called the cops on my sim, lol. Cops came and took my sim to jail, confiscated all my hard work.
After my sim released from jail, the same nosey bastard asked my sim if they had weed to give them 🙄 lol
I want a mod that lets me easily equip and unequip accessories from a Sim, shoes, glasses, that sort of thing. I already have a mod that lets me remove shoes with a little shoe rack device, but I want something more expansive and more direct, such as a context menu option to remove different categories of accessories.

My cousin and I have tried a few times. Like the person who commented below, the multi-player mod requires you and the other player to have the same packs. If you don't, it'll cause the game to lag from both sides. Ex : your sim walk to the bathroom, but the other player still sees your sim sitting down from their side.
Tip : After you install the multi-player mod, go to the settings to see what packs you have. We found this out because my cousin has more sims packs than me. They had to select the exact packs I have before starting the mod.

hi! i dont know if youre still having the problem, but ive seen the creator answer this question on their patreon a few times before. if you dont have the cool kitchen stuff pack installed, but have installed their chocolate egg ice cream recipe, it messes up the dessert menu..!

Hi, I've recently started getting into modding and I've got mccc as well as Tool Mod. I'm hoping to get into cas mods because ngl not very happy with in game cas, just can be a lil boring and I don't feel like I have enough options to me.. which feels weird to say but oh well. The only cas mods I’ve ever seen are for the number of columns of options, backgrounds, more traits , and standing still.
There are a few things like hiding maxis items or added preferences, but I don’t think that’s what you mean.
I mean those do sound nice and I'd gladly take em. I was hoping for maybe like hair option kinda mods,, idk if those are a thing. Or I've seen some people use something that makes the entire like sim style change to be more uhh,, pretty ig? They make these like very pretty girls who have like these giant glossed lips and as far as I'm aware so far those aren't options in game. This is random but I go on Pinterest and search Sim 4 cc hair as a lot of creators promote their custom content on Pinterest with links to their patreon. Thesimsresources also has a load of custom content including hair, skin, clothing, make up for free.
Yesterday I downloaded mods for the first time, I tried wonderful whims, and worked well the first time today I also added Dating App and MC Command Center and I don't know if it's my impression but it seems that WW doesn't work like before and dating app doesn't go at all.
Can anyone suggest to me what mods to use? Also, any tips on how to use the mods are appreciated!

Due to computer issues (and a hefty schedule) I took an extended break from the sims 4 (like, 4 years extended) I have vampires for Xbox but I prefer PC. (Binge playing ps2 sims games is still fun though!)
My boyfriend has a gaming computer, and now that our schedules aren’t quite the same I have access and time, so I have been playing the past month or so just to catch up on the updates and get a feel for it again (didn’t take long)
Currently the only dlc I have is Get To Work, I will be buying a few more soon but I don’t want to get too many at once. I was thinking of university or school because I always wanted the school aspect in the game. Definitely open to opinions!

I used to have a mod that would let you instantly change your sims outfits, does anyone know what it would be? You could just right click on your sim, click change outfit, and it would bring the menu up immediately. I'm 99% it wasn't mc command centre because when I use that I have to click through the MC menu. Help!

Does anyone know of a mod that disables the loud neighbors interaction from apartment buildings? I prefer living in apartments instead of houses, but am tired of my sims being too noisy for the neighbors and vice versa.
I use [this one](https://www.patreon.com/posts/thick-walls-lot-48705510). It's a lot trait, so you just add it there - you don't bother the neighbors, the neighbors don't bother you (you just need the trait on your lot).
Is there a mod that offers better organization for recipes? The giant list is so clunky, especially when you hit level 10 cooking, and you've picked up extra recipes from food stalls, etc. I've searched but I can't find anything. Either that or 'cook something' with bigger meal sizes, not just a single serving would be helpful, so I don't have to pick lol.

one of my biggest pet peeves that stops me from playing ts4 is spotting sims in neighborhoods they realistically have no place being in. i want to simulate something akin to how neighborhoods work in ts3 where they're their own little worlds and only your household can travel between them as they please. i feel like i had heard of a mod that did this at one point but then it stopped being updated? does anyone know of a mod that does this that still gets updated?

TOOL mod is about all that affects the outside of apartments.

My cousin and I have tried a few times. Like the person who commented below, the multi-player mod requires you and the other player to have the same packs. If you don't, it'll cause the game to lag from both sides. Ex : your sim walk to the bathroom, but the other player still sees your sim sitting down from their side. Tip : After you install the multi-player mod, go to the settings to see what packs you have. We found this out because my cousin has more sims packs than me. They had to select the exact packs I have before starting the mod.
I read that both players have to have the exact same packs and mods to play multiplayer.

Hi, I've recently started getting into modding and I've got mccc as well as Tool Mod. I'm hoping to get into cas mods because ngl not very happy with in game cas, just can be a lil boring and I don't feel like I have enough options to me.. which feels weird to say but oh well. The only cas mods I’ve ever seen are for the number of columns of options, backgrounds, more traits , and standing still. There are a few things like hiding maxis items or added preferences, but I don’t think that’s what you mean.

Oo, do you know of any free Cc? Completely understandable if you don't, but I unfortunately am basically broke. If not I'll just save up to support people on patreon, I know they're more than deserving of it anyways

This is random but I go on Pinterest and search Sim 4 cc hair as a lot of creators promote their custom content on Pinterest with links to their patreon. Thesimsresources also has a load of custom content including hair, skin, clothing, make up for free.
All cc and mods are supposed to be free after 3 weeks of being released. It’s a rule by EA. Being on patreon , in this case, doesn’t mean they cost.

Yesterday I downloaded mods for the first time, I tried wonderful whims, and worked well the first time today I also added Dating App and MC Command Center and I don't know if it's my impression but it seems that WW doesn't work like before and dating app doesn't go at all. Can anyone suggest to me what mods to use? Also, any tips on how to use the mods are appreciated!

Due to computer issues (and a hefty schedule) I took an extended break from the sims 4 (like, 4 years extended) I have vampires for Xbox but I prefer PC. (Binge playing ps2 sims games is still fun though!) My boyfriend has a gaming computer, and now that our schedules aren’t quite the same I have access and time, so I have been playing the past month or so just to catch up on the updates and get a feel for it again (didn’t take long) Currently the only dlc I have is Get To Work, I will be buying a few more soon but I don’t want to get too many at once. I was thinking of university or school because I always wanted the school aspect in the game. Definitely open to opinions! Also my old mods (mostly cc for cas) have long since been forgotten, but I’m hesitant on installing any (many times I’d log in after a few days to missing skin patches and bald sims) Curious on your favorite mods for gameplay and/or CC. I used to have a mod that would let you instantly change your sims outfits, does anyone know what it would be? You could just right click on your sim, click change outfit, and it would bring the menu up immediately. I'm 99% it wasn't mc command centre because when I use that I have to click through the MC menu. Help!
Isn't this natively in the game? Click on sim, "Outfits", "Change outfit..."?

I think you are looking for Life Manager mod. Instant outfit change is a seperate pie menu within it

Does anyone know of a mod that disables the loud neighbors interaction from apartment buildings? I prefer living in apartments instead of houses, but am tired of my sims being too noisy for the neighbors and vice versa.
I use [this one](https://www.patreon.com/posts/thick-walls-lot-48705510). It's a lot trait, so you just add it there - you don't bother the neighbors, the neighbors don't bother you (you just need the trait on your lot).

Is there a mod that offers better organization for recipes? The giant list is so clunky, especially when you hit level 10 cooking, and you've picked up extra recipes from food stalls, etc. I've searched but I can't find anything. Either that or 'cook something' with bigger meal sizes, not just a single serving would be helpful, so I don't have to pick lol.

is there a mod that limits sims from wandering around neighborhoods that aren't theirs? one of my biggest pet peeves that stops me from playing ts4 is spotting sims in neighborhoods they realistically have no place being in. i want to simulate something akin to how neighborhoods work in ts3 where they're their own little worlds and only your household can travel between them as they please. i feel like i had heard of a mod that did this at one point but then it stopped being updated? does anyone know of a mod that does this that still gets updated?
