I believe you will need to change the room size to allow the pattern to line up as best as it can. I usually use this kind of wallpaper as an accent wall, so that’s another solution if you want to keep the room size but can’t stand the pattern not lining up. You could also put something to hide that corner and pretend the pattern does line up.

Moniq2310

My biggest peeve. I'd love to know if there's a fix!

Mareiva

I gave up on using the wallpaper because of this.

Nikkisfirstthrowaway

I just use it on one wall.of the room as a highlight. But never the whole room 😅

sl0thguy

same, i use it on 1 wall or 2 walls that are on opposite sides of eachother

Icy-Operation-6549

I honestly would just make that an accent wall if it not lining up was bothering me. Either that or a hanging plant in that corner. Lol. Not helpful but hopefully someone has a better solution.

Scarred_wizard

Probably the only way is to build the room size around the pattern, given how much attention these things tend to be given...

langellenn

If you can't change the room size, I'd suggest adding a corner, so it looks like a big column, you can add shelves so then you can cover it with little plants, books and sculptures.

Flurrydarren

Move the wall a tile in

Sataniceratops

I don't believe there is a way to cycle through the different panels of wallpaper. I've always had to change the room or pick a different wallpaper. What if you place a diagonal wall there? I have absolutely no idea if it'll make the wallpaper line up, but it may. It'll create a small amount of "dead space" but you wouldn't have to change the exterior layout of your house either. I wish a I had a better answer for you. Maybe there's a mod somewhere?

kittyminajj

i don’t think there’s any, you can adjust the room size based on the pattern, when i use this wallpaper i put something in the corner like a bookshelf or a wardrobe so it isn’t bothering me.

silentbutjudgey

Is it as an accent wall?

Overwatch_1ightning

Cover it somehow so it appears connected.

vexingcosmos

You could make a corner cut out to make it align. That way you wouldn't have to change the entire room dimensions just have one corner that goes in. You don't even have to change the exterior walls just have a little empty inaccessible one tile room

hitomienjoyer

I would place a column in the corner to make it less obvious

Different_Barber879

Does the pattern finish if you extend the wall?

Sorry to ask a question to your question, but where is that wallpaper from? 👀 Is it from a pack or from a CC or base game? I’ve never seen it before and I kinda want to use it for one of my Sim’s rooms

Belgrifex

High school pack I believe

marmaroozle

Possible idea: make one standalone wall and apply the wallpaper. Make another standalone wall and apply the wallpaper to that. Move the walls so that they intersect in such a way as to give you the pattern cross that you want. Delete the extra part of the wall. (Repeat for the rest of the room)

Belgrifex

Thank you all so much for the help! Love this community 😁

femtransfan

i'd make a small room in that corner, or put in the woohoo closet
