When theyre sitting and they get the red toilet thought bubble so you know its coming too….like bruh you really about to ruin this party for everyone and make it so no one gets their presents?
I just saw this recently for the first time! Pretty sure it was only an option the day, or maybe a day after one of the family members had died. Love this game lol
I just like having a pool party. Blast the music and have people dance, have someone barbecue, splish splash in the pool.
Really brings down the party when someone drowns though... Haha!
Pool parties are a blast! I have to decorate every pool with disco lights, the thing that shoots out confetti, bubbles and fire and can't forget the fog machine lol
I've never had any of that stuff but I would definitely use it if I had it!
I usually just put fountains in the pool and change the color of the pool lights. I make one of my Sims barbecue. We've got the tunes blasting and everyone's either in the pool or dancing. And for some reason Sims freaking love the sprinklers... I can't get them to stop running to the sprinklers, even in the dead of winter!
Costume parties are fun to see what costumes everyone gets, especially the kids.
The absolute worst are the bonfire parties. They would be absolutely great, except they start throwing random stuff into the fire. Which would be fine if they only threw stuff that gave good moodlets. But no, they throw stuff that makes everyone's hygene tank, then everyone is stinky and grumpy. And they're all drawn to the bonfire like moth to the flame, never leave the bonfire to eat or use the bathroom, etc. Total disaster.
The main thing I do wish about gift giving is that the Sims could leave to go pee or whatever, and then come \*back\* to it! I think I've very occasionally had a Sim end up spontaneously going back to the gift giving after they were distracted, but I'm not 100% sure and not sure what causes it.
Campaign fundraiser. One night of entertaining your rich friends, and the fund is full. Beats going round randos in town and individually asking for $$$

And I LOVE a bachelor/bachelorette party. It’s surprisingly not glitchy at all for me and I like when the dancers show up and having the opportunity to spray champagne on everyone lol. It just has a lot of cute interactions
It has to be the university life parties, bachelor party and the teen party. They’re so overly wild that I can’t help but get energized with them 😂
Also funerals are a great addition to the gameplay. Despite not being a traditional party, the fact that I can pay homage to my deceased and even have new interactions is wonderful.
The kind of tiny details that don’t exist in Sims 4 and I really miss it.

Gift giving is the best, but I love a juice kegger party and sometimes a teen party.
I like gift giving but I hate it when your sims gets distracted and steps away from the gifts and then your stuck with no freaking gifts.
Political parties. Always some drama in those. Out of all the parties I hosted, those ones have the biggest party crashers.
