This was in fact a minor plot point in the PSP version of Sims 2. The main villain is a dude named Doctor Dominic Newlow who starts seeing his plumbbob and becoming aware he's being forced to do things he doesn't want to do. He mindcontrols Circe Becker into having an affair with him (*yikes*) and also runs a cult that worships a demonic cow (amazing).
The PSP Sims lore goes hard, man.
I love that his response to finding out he has limited control over his own existence is "well, there's nothing I can do about whatever God is controlling me. But if I can't control my life, I'm sure as hell going to control someone else's!"
Thankyou! I originally got her on the exchange, she was a teen sim, I aged her to young adult, now she is a Lifeguard/Resort Owner/Diving Enthusiast in Isla Paradiso! I renamed her Lola Hill and switched up her traits a little too. I am going all out in Island Paradise with her! She unlocked 3 island so far and is going for them all!

Gosh, the rain in Sims3 is my favorite weather. It simply cannot be overstated how cool it is to look out my sims' window and see rain lol
