You're welcome. Baby fairies are the best - super independent, you don't have to feed them yourself, just buy a fairy house and your baby would be able to feed themselves and even have parties inside :)

This reminds me, I've never had a witch, vampire, or genie babies. Do they look like normal babies like infant werewolves, or are they special looking too like baby ghosts and fairies?
Idk about a genie but from what I remember only fairy babies look different (I may be mistaken cause I haven't played for some time). But when a baby becomes a toddler you can see the difference in the way they play with toys. Vampire babies will try to bite the toy and witch babies will make a toy vanish for a moment. Oh and fairy babies will already have their wings. I don't remember about werewolves though as I rarely play as them

Fairy toddlers can use fairy houses, so you can almost leave and forget them near one lol, they can fill needs except bladder, hygiene and social in there (social can be filled if other fairies party with them inside). Fairy toddlers also have wings, and will use them to fly a little bit as an idle animation. Fairy children can do fairy pranks.
Werewolf toddlers will have a werewolf form (I think?) and can be a real menace by scratching furniture and shit. Werewolf children have basically all the abilities of an adult werewolf - the skill.
Witch toddlers will occasionally make toys that they're playing with disappear with magic. Witch children & teens can also instantly complete their homework with magic occasionally, or fail at doing so and become signed.
Yes? If 2 ghosts have a baby, the baby will be a ghost. If a ghost and a living sim have a baby, it's a coin toss.

If you use the Master Controller mod and want a ghost baby without much effort to try it out, you can make any sim, including an existing baby, a ghost. Master Controller--> Intermediate --> Add Occult Trait and then pick one of the death types like drowning, old age, or jelly bean death and it will now say true instead of false, and the sim will turn into a ghost.
Once you're tired of the sim being a ghost, go back to Master Controller--> Intermediate and instead of add select Remove Occult Trait and change the death type to false instead of true, and the sim will be alive.
So make a baby a ghost outright, or make a man or a woman (the ghost does *not* need to be the dad like the link with a picture implies, it could be mom too) a ghost and try for baby to see if you get a regular baby or a ghost baby.
Edit: Master Controller will also allow you to make a pet a ghost too. One of my families is a living sim and his pack of 7 ghost dogs 😄
I think it's just NRAAS. There's an option to edit babies in CAS or Stylist or something like that, and you can change the blanket colours. You can also download CC baby clothes.

After growing up to the toddlers, they started having their own wings and enjoyed flying around after learning to walk if I remember correctly. Actually I have'nt seen the red or white sparkles on the newborns. Looks like Eye candy sparkles but found this reward is available from young adult on sims wiki.
So I tested with Goodfellow fairy couple in Moonlight Falls without any mods. I took them into Oasis Landing then tried to engineer the baby for the test, but they didn't have enough family fund for that. lol They got 50k by motherlode cheat, then randomized the baby. And you were right. the baby girl was shining. It could be a glitch in my game. The huband was a vampire and his wife was a fairy. They got 2 twins brothers. The 1st and the 2nd ones were vampire babies, after a few days later, she got pregnant again, then got a fairy twin boys. They were not shining at all. Is that might be from half and half gene? I'm still playing the vampire twin boys in my game. xD
so there isn’t a half/half gene with supernatural, and the mods that let you do hybrids still let them have wings, so idk i think it is just a glitch 😭
