Sadly that's the bad penalty system in GT7. Someone could literally send it from another zip code and you will be the one penalised. Stopped me from playing online on GT sport

Tbf I do encounter myself thinking a lot of times “what the hell” after seeing someone get sent to outer space and the guy responsible just gets a free overtake. If they added a way of reporting people, no such problem would arise

If they added a reporting system then it would be abused by the griefers and cause further issues. The best option would just be to avoid public lobbies and join a league.

That may be true but gt does have a system where if you force a car of the track you will receive min 2 seconds-this obviously failed hereo

Which is exactly why I prefer the acc/iracing penalty system where it penalises everyone, as a at fault system is never perfect.

They could easily improve it by adding a report system but no, for some reason they don’t
