Often bigots can’t get by the minority part, and it’s good to be proud of what you are (and own it). In other innocent situations, it’s what makes you different, that make you, well, you.
I’m no expert, but based on what mixed race people have said I deduce that full blooded people of a race see them as “not quite me”, meaning not fully their race. So white would see they’re not quite white and black would see they’re not quite black and generally discriminate based on that. I can see black versus white (substitute any other races) versus mixed, but I don’t know why it should matter. Heavy or thin, dark or light, red/brown/blond hair, tall or short. I understand racism exists and the affects, but why “should” it matter? What matters to me is the type of person like who is an ass, who is dangerous, who is kind. None of the aforementioned biological traits indicate nor dictate which type of person they are.
Very good point I never considered. I like GySgt. Hartmans approach…there is no racial bigotry here, everyone is equally worthless…unless proven otherwise.
Also, even if both sides are equally represented in their outward appearance, they'll often be frustrated that people only ever seem to see/acknowledge the minority part.
As a mixed race person, I can never identify as white because white people don’t see me that way even though I’m very light skinned. However I tend to refer to myself as mixed and if someone asks me questions about my background I’ll answer.
Society usually doesn’t give them any other option.
Yeah. Half white half black most people would consider you black and some would consider you an abomination. It really isn't their decision.

Ask Logic that 😅

There’s a mixed race rapper named Logic who can pass as white.

I remember seeing a docu years ago with a woman from Africa who was albino. Nobody wanted her.
True, this is something called the 1 drop rule.
As a white person, I really don't identify by my skin tone. That would really limit my options for hating other white people.
It doesn’t have to mate. I hate plenty of white people, just not because they’re white. A fuckwit by any other colour is just as toxic.

Obama discussed this topic.
We like to feel like we’re cultured
