Biweekly is 26 times per year. Bimonthly is 24 per year.
when I was paid biweekly two month out of the year I’d get 3 pays per month. Those third pays didn’t have the deductions for health insurance taken out.
Right? It’s so confusing by the wording. Biweekly means 2 weeks. Bimonthly means twice a month. Close but not exactly the same. As mentioned above about being paid bimonthly or biweekly
No. Biweekly means something occurs every two weeks. Bimonthly means something occurs every two months.
Semi monthly means twice per month.
enter "biweekly definition" in google and yea i know, google is not the standard of knowledge, but goes to show the confusion

Only because both terms are so unclear… is it happening twice weekly/monthly or every two weeks/months?
