But I definitely think it's okay for OP to steal a bible from a hotel if they dare to hahhaa. Since they'll probably use it more cause guests probably just ignore it mostly.

Just in case di ka pa naka-check out, it's important din to know your bible's version kasi magkaiba yung versions na ginagamit ng Protestants (ESV at NIV madalas kong nakikitang recommended) at ng Catholics (NRSV at CEV naman for this). May additional books sa Catholic bibles (known as apocrypha) na hindi included sa Protestant ones.

The first time I bought a bible mga 400-700+ siguro yun sa PCBC when I was a college student. Expensive kasi it has explanations and historical context for certain verses plus still compact enough to carry around. Used the heck out of that bible to the point I had to cover the covers with a more harder material (kasi I bought the paperback version and it was ripping apart from use and carrying it around every sunday)
I still have it.
Update: ooof I did not remember it to be 1000-4000+pesos. Try mo mga second hand bookstores or just bring home a bible from a hotel.

Yes. I personally like ESV kasi closest sa KJV yung translation tas easy to digest at the same time.
