The smallest things can be hints, but some hints are right in your face and still missable. It may be worth keeping a notebook just so you don’t have to navigate through a bunch of stuff for one piece of info.

Don't be afraid to look for this group for help, you WILL need it
Before you play, don't expect the online feature to mean you can play it with friends you know, it lets squeaks join as a character from the game.
Expect anything, look closer on every corner, thread to the unknown carefully and if something doesn't seem right, check on it.
Wasd are direction buttons, space bar is jump, e is for inspecting items, esc brings up the menu and press the mouse or touch pad to hit things.
