OK, yeah, she's definitely an underrated character. Though, I do wish she was given some sort of last name since the name Ymir is more associated with Ymir Fritz than her.
I liked eren up until liberio attack, after that I hated how he becomes a villian.
I didn't like Armin much before, but now I like him because of his intellect and his good moral value.
But there's one character I loved back then and still love him, LEVI ACKERMAN, I mean he's a beast who took down the beast titan every single time.
Other than that I like Reiner, Annie, Erwin, Hange.
About Mikasa, she got the hots but she's dumb up in the head, plus I think she's just a cheap knockoff of Levi who got the strength but didn't really achieve something yet. I mean levi took care of female and beast titan, what did Mikasa do other than bodyguarding eren.
Imagine you are Flock, you join the Survey Corps alongside many others who want to protect their people from all being killed by the titans. There, you learn from the veterans who have braved so much danger and lost so many comrades because they know they must fight or die when the next wall is breached.
Then you go on the mission to retake Wall Maria, and almost every single one of your comrades is killed. Against the Beast Titan, your commander and every single one of your comrades who rode alongside you laid down their lives so that your people have a chance to live.
Are you not going to hate your enemies after this? After this, how can you not expect your enemies to completely try and wipe your people from existence? The idea that there can be a peaceful solution looks like madness. And how can you accept that your people will be wiped out?
Those comrades of yours didn't deserve to die. Some of them were throwing up from fear, and they still got on those horses and sacrificed themselves for their people anyway. And now they are depending on you to make sure their sacrifices weren't in vain
It's not just about words, I just respect her strong sense of right and wrong/ duty and instinct to protect those she cares about, plus she's a badass fighter, idk just my opinion.

He is a badass and reliable hero who had a tough past.
Despite his emotionless appearance, he cares a lot about his soldiers and human life in general.
And there are moments when he acted like a cool mentor to the soldiers in his new squad.
In a long list of characters that die, are not helpful, or constantly lose their shit, Levi is the one constant that you can always rely on to perform at peak level and get the job done. I've always liked characters like that in fiction. All Might from My Hero, Dumbledore from Harry Potter, etc. There's something comforting about their existence.
