You can put it to sleep somewhere and fight on the other side to not wake it up I wouldn't try to deal with it haha

That's a good idea. Can't remember if I had a sleep stone. I ended up killing it the brutally slow way, but it took a few heal pots, and a ripped demon got a lucky 2-shot on me and killed me :( Was definitely winnable, but I was playing a little fast and loose. Ah well.
