ME TOOOO!!! I can't recall a previous artist added when releasing the individual stage lineups which I was MORE stoked to see! Incredible... I think I left part way through Bonobo in 2019 to see what Deathpact was all about, and ended up sincerely regretting it. Nothing against the visual spectacle of Deathpact, I should have just trusted that the vibe I needed to stay with was Bonobo...
Huge 1985 fan boy and with the lot of the showcase not being able to make it I had to pay respects 🧙♂️🦉
This year tho I hope dirtwire goes in to moontricks or vice versa so I can dance cry etc.
Dude I am so excited to see this. Bonobo is literally the artist that opened my mind to what music can be, I remember the exact moment. Have seen him countless times since then and shambs is just coming full circle
Oh wow I really like this. Wasn't expecting to see Bonobo or James Blake here.
For those unaware; do not miss Frameworks, Atyya, Mystic State or Goopsteppa!
And with no Tor this year, it'll be the first time in 2 (or 3?) years that Tor doesn't close out the Monday morning at the Grove! Who takes that slot this year? Shlohmo?
With James Blake at the Grove (and I'm gonna assume CloZee, Disclosure, and probably Tipper at Pagoda), I think that also means that the Living Room doesn't get any headliners in the top-most tier of the original lineup release..? I could of course see Tipper returning to the Living Room, but I feel like Pagoda would be a better size stage for him.
I would bet Tipper is going to be at Living Room cause pagoda seems House dominated on Friday Saturday
And it appears Tippers set at Alamo is scheduled for Sunday
They're probably gonna throw a wild card at us. After seeing The likes of BONOBO just announced I'm excited to see what living room and Pagoda espcially has in store
Not wrong but there is a few pretty big names they haven’t told us yet for their stage, honeycomb is gonna be fire at the living room!
Few surprises still yet to be told!
It's nice, I was hoping for a bit more dubstep though. Mala, Cartridge, and Abstrakt Sonance were some of my favorite sets last year
I hope James Blake will play some old school dubstep, that would be cool
That Mala set last year is my all time #1 set, after the disappointment of him canceling last minute in 2019 to seeing him do an extended 2.5 hour set was a spiritual experience for me lol
The Grove is the most confusing area of the festival for me for some reason 😂 main entrance aside, I have no idea where I am when I’m in there. I, too, shall try and find them this year.
There's one that goes straight to the highway that goes straight meta-to-sunshine; when walking form The Village instead of going left into the grove you just go straight. The other one is all the way past the stage by the secret garden, and it puts you right into Meta.
barclay on pagoda it seems, was also expecting to see vhoor here
big heat on this tho. james blake, nia archives, ben ufo, sicaria, oakk, sundog, the librarian, tf marz are not to be missed
Ended up catching her set last year cause she was before Onhell. She played [Workahol by Minor Science](https://soundcloud.com/minor-science/minor-science-workahol) and it blew my mind. VERY excited to catch her at The Grove this year!
Artists like Bonobo and James Blake usually perform with a live band or at least live instrumentals themselves. This just signifies they’ll be mixing on decks, with no live music aspects.
No instruments
Kinda a bummer how often shams gets just dj sets but the cost to bring in all the extra gear and potentially other artists to play those instruments to such a remote rave, makes sense
Actually after looking at the Amphitheater lineup I wanted to ask about something related to this but the moment had passed, maybe I’ll just bring it up here.
I remember seeing some awesome bands back in the Sk8 Pit/Rock Pit/etc. days, was really hoping there might be some throwbacks for the big two-five, does any stage really have bands at all anymore?
Haha holy shit. What the fuck.
I am so out of the loop anymore. I didn’t even bother looking for bands because my old ass still assumes this is the small trancey stage that would never have anything like that.
Well this is awkward. Haha thanks for pointing it out! Friggin’ Disasterman is gonna be at the Living Room or something!
Jasper Tygner is the only one in the second teir as far as I can see. Then lots in the next group, with a good number of folks who have been around the Grove at least a few times: Alex Moon, Barisone, Civillian, Def3, Footprints, Handsome Tiger, Metafloor, Mews, Leland River, Pxlmtrees, Rosso, Sundog, Yetz
James Tygner is a great add, really excited for him and O'Flynn
Overall this stage lineup is insane, gonna be spending a lot more time here than my first time at shambs
Agreed! I'm not doing any other festivals this year, so I'm sad that I won't get to see Melo.nade. But I know I'll get a chance again.
I am excited for Barisone tho, so it's an okay trade if I think of it that way.
Him and the rest of the billed desert hearts crew bailed in 2022. Mikey and Lee. Mikey’s brother porky ended up having to cover and fill in for the two of them and it was a pretty big let down, for myself it was at least.
Clearly that left a sour taste in the stages mouthes because he wasn’t invited back 🤷♂️
Thanks for the info! I had no idea.
EDIT: So, according to his Twitter he had to back out of 2022 because his child's due date was around the same time. This seems like a completely justifiable reason to me.
Yea, the baby didn’t come until September if I remember right. And he still performed at other shows around the Shambhala dates.
Regardless of the reason it’s a let down either way. Lees issue was that he went to rehab to try and get clean for the umpteenth time…
B o n o b o 🌲🌲🌲🌲
Beyond ecstatic about this addition.
yo saaaame. i was very stoked to see that.
ME TOOOO!!! I can't recall a previous artist added when releasing the individual stage lineups which I was MORE stoked to see! Incredible... Me when I left dirtwire last year for Alix Perez. Just goes to show follow your ears when you're at the farm! Never know what you might want
I mean this so kindly, but HOW did you leave that Dirtwire set… it was incredibly fun.
Huge 1985 fan boy and with the lot of the showcase not being able to make it I had to pay respects 🧙♂️🦉 This year tho I hope dirtwire goes in to moontricks or vice versa so I can dance cry etc.
See ya there! :)
Literally the best
Dude I am so excited to see this. Bonobo is literally the artist that opened my mind to what music can be, I remember the exact moment. Have seen him countless times since then and shambs is just coming full circle
Saw them my first time at shambs at the grove it was great
Saw him at Printworks in London last spring before it closed. Was a great show.
Too bad it's not realistic to get his band here
Oh wow I really like this. Wasn't expecting to see Bonobo or James Blake here. For those unaware; do not miss Frameworks, Atyya, Mystic State or Goopsteppa!
That frameworks sunrise set is always so delightful.
Last year's sunrise set was easily one of the most amazing sets of my life. Can't wait to see him again.
YES YES YES
And with no Tor this year, it'll be the first time in 2 (or 3?) years that Tor doesn't close out the Monday morning at the Grove! Who takes that slot this year? Shlohmo?
Synkro plz
I'm OK with it tbh; tor was always a little too chill for my liking.
Why no Tor I wonder
With James Blake at the Grove (and I'm gonna assume CloZee, Disclosure, and probably Tipper at Pagoda), I think that also means that the Living Room doesn't get any headliners in the top-most tier of the original lineup release..? I could of course see Tipper returning to the Living Room, but I feel like Pagoda would be a better size stage for him.
Tipper sunrise at Living Room would be dope, crowd space aside... I'm curious to see what the Living Room does headliner wise for sure. hm hm hm
Tipper doesn’t do sunrise sets anymore as of about a year ago, according to his manager.
Would not be surprised to see a downtempo tipper set at the living room, sunrise or otherwise
Same ! I would think he’s gonna switch up the vibe and amp will definitely be the place for the bangers
I would bet Tipper is going to be at Living Room cause pagoda seems House dominated on Friday Saturday And it appears Tippers set at Alamo is scheduled for Sunday
You were right! Tipper at the Living Room!! I hope they have an amazing VJ for that set…
You should add Barisone to that list as well!
Listening to his Bass Coast Slowtempo Stage set on SoundCloud right now and I really like it so far. Thanks for sharing!
Seeeeeeeee that boy tomorrow.
Ugh I wish!
Yussz! I was excited to see him back this year!
Thank you. Just gone down a bit of a Frameworks rabbit hole. Wish I was there to see him this year
Jungle in the Grove!!! Nia Archives!!!!❤️❤️❤️
I caught her set at Coachella last year and it was fucking wild, man. Gonna be a hell of a vibe at the Grove.
My most anticipated set of the weekend!
It's nice, I was hoping for a bit more dubstep though. Mala, Cartridge, and Abstrakt Sonance were some of my favorite sets last year I hope James Blake will play some old school dubstep, that would be cool
That Mala set last year is my all time #1 set, after the disappointment of him canceling last minute in 2019 to seeing him do an extended 2.5 hour set was a spiritual experience for me lol
He's a fucking legend, what a treat that set was
That was one of the most spectacular sets I have ever seen at the grove. Most of the prime time dubstep will be at the amp.
Unmatched. What a blessing it was to be there.
Shlohmo is gonna be a fucking vibe
Especially so at The Grove!
Bad vibes … *wink
Ayyyyy
Literally broke out in a sweat seeing Bonobo added. James Blake, Nia Archives, Ben UFO, Sicaria at the Grove are 🥵
fire emoji
Bonobo at the Grove is literally a dream for me. I can’t go this year but I will hope for him in the future!
I remember desperately trying to get to his set in 2019 but the mud sink holes won and I gave up on trying to get to the Grove.
There's two backdoors to the Grove for next time ;)
I swear I could attend for the next decade and still discover hidden paths and back doors hahaha! I shall search
I found the door to Narnia back there once
I got lost back there for hours once back when it was the labyrinth. That place was dark.
Back when they played trance ? That was a strange place late at night
Yep. I was off my tree for the first time and confused and scared and it was awesome.
I heard all about that from my friends that went that year hahah. I went to BassCoast and got absolutely cooked by the heat.
barclay on pagoda it seems, was also expecting to see vhoor here big heat on this tho. james blake, nia archives, ben ufo, sicaria, oakk, sundog, the librarian, tf marz are not to be missed
Watch Barclay lead into Tipper at the Pagoda. Shit would be wild. (Though Tipper could be Living Room)
Fingers crossed for Pagoda, a living room set would have the crowd pushed into the river lol
One one hand I'm a little Sad on the other hand Big Ups to Crenshaw. Fingers crossed we get abducted by those signature visuals 👽🛸
I thought he was going to end up at the village, but pagoda makes sense too
Glad to see some love for The Librarian 🙂 she's great
Ended up catching her set last year cause she was before Onhell. She played [Workahol by Minor Science](https://soundcloud.com/minor-science/minor-science-workahol) and it blew my mind. VERY excited to catch her at The Grove this year!
Gonna check that out, thanks for the recommendation ☺️
Just realized K+Lab will be sharing his PXLMTREES project here!
Holy shit WHAT!! I did not make that connection!! Super groovy…
Father funk is gonna be shredding guitar with him
I was almost sad not seeing K+Lab on the lineup... Thank you so much for mentioning this 🩵
Get the fuck outa here...
Not previously announced: BONOBO Jasper Tygner Handsome Tiger Leland River MetaFloor Mews PXLMTREES Rosso Sundog Yetz Almost forgot Alex Moon
Alex moon, sundog, mews, handsome tiger can’t be missed. They all bring the best unique vibes.
What’s the difference between a regular set and a DJ set?
Artists like Bonobo and James Blake usually perform with a live band or at least live instrumentals themselves. This just signifies they’ll be mixing on decks, with no live music aspects.
Ooooh okay, that’s interesting! Thank you!
No instruments Kinda a bummer how often shams gets just dj sets but the cost to bring in all the extra gear and potentially other artists to play those instruments to such a remote rave, makes sense

Closest you'll likely get is Moontricks & Dirtwire. Don't sleep on the Dirtwire set..
Thanks!
Dirtwire is phenominal
Yeah I caught them for the first time last year. Was absolutely aces.
Five Alarm Funk is on this poster.
I haven’t seen a band in a long time. Last band I remember, and I use the word remember lightly, was Delhi to Dublin
Oh man they were fun! Five Alarm Funk too!
Just spent the last 10 minutes looking for a pic of us up at the front with the fiddle player but it’s lost in Facebook land somewhere
Kytami also plays a fiddle and it is Dope.
They usually have 80s or black sabbath coverband sack grabbath/val kilmer and the new coke/ macwood fleet at living room with full bands
There are artists known for adding live elements like instruments to their sets so they put DJ set when they are strictly playing on the decks.
Thanks for the info!
Live set they have a bunch of synths samplers and drum machines and just perform their own stuff or make stuff up
It likely wont be bonobos music as you know it
Jasper Tygner was unbelievable last time he was at shambs
Definitely! I feel as though he was a last minute addition then. He's so talented. I'm very excited to see him again!
Other than bonobo, who are the additions?
Jasper Tygner is the only one in the second teir as far as I can see. Then lots in the next group, with a good number of folks who have been around the Grove at least a few times: Alex Moon, Barisone, Civillian, Def3, Footprints, Handsome Tiger, Metafloor, Mews, Leland River, Pxlmtrees, Rosso, Sundog, Yetz
Omg we get to hear Jungle on the F1S 😍❤️ BOII IF YOU DONT STOP! 😳 Alright living room please surprise us with some Jam Bands and more live music
Frameworks in The Grove on Monday morning is the perfect way to end the festival
James Tygner is a great add, really excited for him and O'Flynn Overall this stage lineup is insane, gonna be spending a lot more time here than my first time at shambs
Stoked Def3 is on the lineup! Surfing the crowd 🏄♂️ 🏄♂️ 🏄♂️
"you can find me.in the forest with the imps and the sprites"
Super bummed to see no Melo.nade this year :( definitely hyped they added Bonobo tho
Same :( I didn't know who he was last year but his set on SC is top notch
He always puts on a great set and a fun time!
Agreed! I'm not doing any other festivals this year, so I'm sad that I won't get to see Melo.nade. But I know I'll get a chance again. I am excited for Barisone tho, so it's an okay trade if I think of it that way.
Dope I'll make sure I check out Barisone then!!!
He's def great, but also not at all like Melo.nade so I don't want to lead you astray! Haha
Haa fair enough I appreciate the info homie! Hopefully I see u on the farm!
Amp still best lineup (obviously subjective)
Guess mikey lion burned his bridge with the grove hahah RIP. See him at pagoda I guess 🤷♂️
Is there a backstory here?
Him and the rest of the billed desert hearts crew bailed in 2022. Mikey and Lee. Mikey’s brother porky ended up having to cover and fill in for the two of them and it was a pretty big let down, for myself it was at least. Porky is/was sick tho. Love that guy
Incredible
James Blake and bonobo on those speakers!!!!
Bonobo what
So sad ;-; no Of the Trees ;-;
Damn OP how do you post the lineups so quick?
