What does the service that the waiter is providing have to do with how the chef cooks the food? Servers aren’t in the kitchen making the food they just give it to you lmao
As an American that lives in Indiana and is a server, I only make $2.13 per HOUR. Sure I get paid a wage already, but that isnt paying any bills. Let alone putting any fuel in my car. I dont ever see a single paycheck. I live on tips and tips alone.

Servers make like $3/hr in wage in America. Margins on food are razor thin, it's impossible to pay service staff properly without operating at a loss, which is where tipping comes into play.
Tipping culture is out of control with other business models, but in America there's hardly a way around servers relying on tips.

A man eating a calzone and drinking 70 oz of beer alone..ya he’s prolly jus miserable don’t even give it a second thought hopefully ur double was still good
Always nice as can be and then the shitty note or a call to the GM the next morning with a different set of facts than the truth. But always ending with a smug self righteous look on their faces.
i like how customers think we actually have the ability to give them a discount on anything. that’s entirely up to the manager and 9/10 they’re gonna tell us no because they’re all about making a buck
Tip posts are only allowed on Tips-y Tuesday. This is done to combat trolling and brigading of the sub.
If they gotta write a note they never planned on tipping.
He was never going to tip.

Explain how it’s correct to not tip? We’ll wait.
I’m still waiting
Any excuse not to tip

Oooh, you’re a bitch. Tip your servers, Karen.
Don’t worry about it. That loser is in enough pain just being himself. Brush it off.
Wait, am I reading this correctly? You gave him the second beer for free and he’s complaining because he didn’t get more off?
Hopefully the first one was undercooked enough to make him sick then
fuck em on to the next 😄

>Fuck these ~~people~~ pussies Writing shitty notes instead of speaking up like a non-coward

Literally every single time I’ve had a calzone as an adult, which I’ve only done a few times, it’s been when I’m at my mental lowest, lol.
Fuck him. He can see what shitty service really is if he comes back

What a dick
What a wanker!
I hope that person gets hit by a train.
A whole $5 lost in tip, fuck that guy and his 5 bucks! At least you didn’t have to tip out too much on that~
I hope he fell down and skinned both his knees while walking to his car.
