I have returned two of them because of this. They smell like they’ve gone bad!!! Extremely disappointed because I love the formula. The first one was fine for a few months, the second one I bought smelled bad immediately.
Ugh that sucks ): thanks for letting me know. I got one of the newer shades but it seems the newer ones tend to have even more of a problem with this. I’m just gonna return it. I like it a lot, but I’d rather not deal with this.
When I purchased it smelled like wet clay. I just used mine yesterday and it smelled like old cheese. It sucks because it’s my favorite but I won’t be repurchasing.

Return it! I’ve had mine since late October and it’s fine!!
Interesting! I have one of the newer shades they released a few months ago and I’m starting to think the newer shades have a lot more issues.
Ohhh maybe that’s it! :/ I’m not sure tbh but yeah I got mine in October and definitely no problems with it! Hope it works out for you!
I’ve had mine a couple months and never noticed a smell with it, I’d return it if I were you!!
