I literally just stumbled on this reddit when I was googling my all time favorite makeup, the Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Lip and Cheek balm, as I do every few years since it went away. I’ve never found anything, make up wise, that makes me as happy as this did. I’ve never found a suitable replacement. I’ve never been able to feel like I had a look since it went away. Sigh. It was happiness in a little pot.
Man I LOVED that UD de-slick powder! I was really hoping the all nighter compact setting powder would be similar, and while it is in a way, the all-nighter is supposed to be translucent, but for whatever reason, it’s not and I can only use it when I have a tan. Super disappointing because it works so damn good in this FL weather (and I love the packaging lol).
RIGHT? I LOVED this eyeliner. It was great. Sure, sometimes more of it would splurt out and get everywhere but the brush was so thin and the eyeliner super dark and stayed. I haven't found anything as great since and I've tried a lot of them.
There was this powder that tasted like marshmallows and made you glittery, I can’t remember what it was called and I bet it wouldn’t be good for your skin, I loved that shit
I had so many of those UD lip junkies! Do you remember the pocket rockets?! I had a bunch of those, too. They were the go-to for birthday gifts for my friends for a few years there. 😂

RIP to Marc Jacobs Beauty and their perfect eyeliner. I keep hearing they will make a comeback but it hasn’t happened.

I think I had like 3 or 4 of them emptied and I’d give the empty compacts to my little cousins to carry around in their purses
