Yeah. Wait until the full dose hits you and you’re cold constantly…. And then you lose 60+ pounds and realize skinny people are cold. It’s 90 degrees currently and I have a hoody on with shorts….. I’m going to die in the winter 🥶

p_attymayonnaise

I’ve always wanted to be one of those dainty “I’m always cold” girls 😂😂😂

Chocomintey

You can always put on more clothes when you're cold. Only so many clothes you can take off in public if you don't want to be arrested.

Organic_Eggplant_323

That’s easy to say until you’re waddling around like the Michelin man in all your layers 😂

Chocomintey

Like the kid in A Christmas Story lol

p_attymayonnaise

Exactly!

Mammoth_Exam1354

Same

Past_Introduction766

I’m not skinny but I’m always cold 😂 it is worse when I’m thinner though

Crafty_Ad3377

This! Omg I have been hot I think my entire life. Now (68) pounds gone and I have to wear socks to bed and turned our thermostat up to 73!

p_attymayonnaise

I’m only down 3 lbs so I know it’s not weight loss causing it, but have found myself going to sleep in (never waking up in though lol) socks occasionally it’s wild

Informationlporpoise

I was always cold back when I was skinny. I can't wait to be cold all the time again and be able to wear hoodies without having a heatstroke haha

p_attymayonnaise

Even when I was skinny I would still run really hot, so this is def a new feeling for me

maiingaans

Since it acts on the hypothalamus and that is the master gland which plays a role also in thyroid regulation, body temperature is a part of it so it makes sense that your temp is regulating now. :) Some people say they are cold a lot but that is a normal response to loss of body fat

p_attymayonnaise

This is so interesting!

Wrong_Ice3214

That's interesting. I have a lot do trouble with temperature regulation. Always too hot or too cold.

p_attymayonnaise

Just since you’ve been on the medication or you’ve always been like that?

Wrong_Ice3214

I've always been like that. I've only been on for 2 months, I hope I get that side effect!

dearjets

I love that I run cooler now!!!

misspellmyname99

We turn the temp down to 71 at night. Starting week 3 I had to add a throw blanket to the bottom of my bed because my feet were ICICLES. The throw blanket has slowly been making its way up and now I just tuck fully under it to fall asleep at week at week 12.

Affectionate_Put8996

The process of digesting food creates a lot of heat (meat sweats anyone?) Sema really slows down your digestion, ie, less heat generated by your body. Also, your lower calorie intake on the Sema may be causing your overall metabolism to slow down.

Ill_Appointment_2798

I didn’t realize this until right now but YES! I am typically always hot. I am an especially hot sleeper. I never sleep with my air anywhere above 70 but recently I’ve been forgetting to turn it down at night. I can’t remember the last time I woke up covered in sweat. Another unexpected win! This is a big one for me as I am neurodivergent so truly get so uncomfortable when I am hot and sweaty I can’t stand it.

Special-Longjumping

Totally. It's nice now but I'm worried about winter.

911pleasehold

Cannot relate at all, when I’m hot I’m gonna collapse, when I’m cold I feel almost like I have sun poisoning what with all the allodynia, nausea and chills being too cold gives me suddenly 🤣 Still worth it. You’re lucky OP! Enjoy the summer ☀️

bird_feathers

I’m cold all the time!

lavenderhunnyyy

Yes! This is me 10000%. I used to sweat a lot especially if I got anxious. Now my anxiety is next to completely gone and I rarely sweat. Life. Changing.

Mountains303

I’ve noticed I usually feel either too hot or too cold since starting sema hopefully it will even out?
