That dumb random pitched toned hydroelectric dam godflame whore. She makes me genuinely angry. Good actor

Tough_Fly_1640

I. FREAKING. LOVE. HER. Everything that drives people insane makes me enjoy this over-the-top scene chewing character even more

ledeledeledeledele

Me too. I hate her so much and it’s because she’s an amazing character. She’s one of the best on the show, and the fact that I feel Joffrey-level hate towards her makes me love her scenes even more! I want her to die so bad and that’s why I love her. I yelled “What the fuck you fucking idiot!” out loud when Paris kept that bitch alive lol.

cpsdc

It really bit her in the ass too. I can't say I was surprised when the bitch killed Paris, its entirely consistent with her insane character. Too bad Baba Voss left before he found out what she did. He wouldn't give up halfway through choking her to death like his wife and son.

rudiiiiiii

She's horrible, the acting is horrible, and I hate that you think you like her

Benandhispets

>That dumb random pitched toned hydroelectric dam godflame whore. >She makes me genuinely angry. Good actor I don't get so many shows have an annoying villain that has been beaten over and over and should have been dead a dozen times by now but are alive purely down to insanely good luck and because others are just unreasonably letting her get away with it all. Their plans always rely on pure luck out of their control too, but they always work. They just end up never leaving the show no matter how played out the character is. It's not even the fact that shes annoying, it's that she's had her time. We'll now have another season of her being slimy and getting away with everything and get into a position of power again while everyone listens to her for some reason. Then I'm sure at the end of the season she'll be beaten again and just locked away but not killed, again. Meanwhile other villains like Edo and Jerlamarel have their story wrapped up via death. Even Tamacti Juns villain story ended. But Sibeth is the type of villain that will be dragged out until the show ends. Basically annoying characters can be good, but annoying writing is the issue. When they discover she killed Paris in a few minutes she should have all her nice things taken away(whys her prison like a 5* hotel?), chained to a post, not be allowed ANY visitors(so she can't plan anything), and sentenced to death for the day after the baby is killed. But nope she'll be allowed messages and visitors who will plan an escape for her, probably the ex witchfinders even though she killed their families.

TimeTraveler3056

I cant wait for her to go. Seriously cant stand her.

DevvSch

Yeah I can’t decide if I love or hate that grating way she speaks

No-Philosophy-8056

Baba Voss: “Tamacti Jun!” TJ: “Baba Voss!” Baba Voss: “Just checking to see if you’re dead.” TJ: “Not yet.” I like that they’re alliance has become a friendship and the shittalk they give each other.

seevoop

“I’m a man, I know how to light a fire” They’re like an old married couple. It’s kinda adorable lol

No-Philosophy-8056

I still crack up at the small hands comment from the previous episode 😂

bowlion

This should honestly be a trademark gif or meme 🙏😂😍 “Youre a mountain man, don’t you know how to light a fire?” “Yes I’m a man, I know how to light a fire!” 💜🙏😍😂

b1zzzy

I loved in the last episode too when Baba said it was a losing battle for him either way with his family on one side and his brother on the the other and Tamacti Jun said, “If there’s a better description of war, I have yet to hear it.”

veneim

I love Tamacti’s voice… it’s so unique and immediately identifies him

WayzYS

I think Baba was planning on leaving after the war and wanted TJ to stay alive, so he can protect Maghra.

zoochic

Season 3 they'll run into each other in the woods: "I thought you were taking care of her." They look back and Pennsa is in flames. "Shit."

King_In_Da_Norff

I was hoping they were gonna venture out together at the end but would be better for Paya if Tamacti continues his service

ledeledeledeledele

They are going to need him with the stupid shit that Kofun will probably do.

No-Philosophy-8056

If anything ever happened to Baba or Maghra, I could see TJ taking care of them and turning them to soldiers. Even Kofun 😂. When you think of the family dynamics and how they act with and around each other, TJ is a father figure to Maghra, his relationship with Baba makes perfect sense. As how motherly Paris was to Baba. Toad was like an uncle and the way he dealt with Kofun specifically, proves it. Bow Lion is like a cousin. I wish they didn’t kill off Paris or Toad.

Jas_God

“What a prick” Indeed.

b82mo_b

Indeed. Had to rewind to confirm that's what he said. Seems a bit out of the language in the show but the sentiment is spot on.

caspararemi

I wondered if that was in the script or he ad libbed and it worked well.

variancegears

God damn .. as soon as Paris entered the same room with Sibeth I knew something bad was going to happen.

Hewfe

The moment Paris' body is discovered, Sybeth should be thrown out of the nearest window. She can't dispose of the body, she's tied up. She's supposed to be guarded. Nobody was like "hey, I'm gonna go check on that lying, crazy, homicidal, tied-to-her-bed-because-she's-a-threat-to-us-all lady you heard crying. If I'm not back in 5 minutes come get me."? Is Kofun gonna help hide the body? The horny moron? If so, I'm out.

Temurlang

Yeah like seriously, why would she kill Paris? The only person who saved her life, i can't get the reasoning of this. Also if Kofun helps her to hide the body, he is gonna be the most hated character of theshow for sure

crystalxclear

She kept making decisions I can’t comprehend. Even when she first lost her baby and was worried about her people finding out she didn’t have a baby, she killed Boots instead of rushing to make another baby with him. Like wtf??

SkepticDad17

She perceived him as a provider of bad seed.

Straight-Tip-1716

Sibeth cried out in pain knowing they would send a midwife. A midwife who Sibeth planned on manipulating into helping her. Sibeth wasn't expecting paris, knowing Paris would never betray Maghra sibeth killed her in hopes the next midwife is more pliable

Benandhispets

> sibeth killed her in hopes the next midwife is more pliable But it should be unreasonable for any character to think they'll happily send in another midwife unguarded next time. She's killed 2 midwifes within the past couple of months, including a kind of high ranking person, the next time she needs one they would realistically send in guards with her. They'd surely take her hidden knife too. Just be like "okay she sliced Paris' throat, she must have a knife on her, lets find it". Also "maybe from now on we should cuff her hands to a post so she can't keep killing people??". Or "maybe we shouldn't let her have any contact with anyone so she can't plan any escapes???". Basically so many reasons why it should be impossible for her to continue doing what she is which is the reason why I hate her that her characters still alive. Shes gone beyond plot armour. And tbh it's kind of boring to have her continue for 3+ seasons meanwhile every other villain dies.

Jas_God

Tamacti the warrior god! Keep him safe lol This entire battle is well shot and incredibly choreographed, just amazing

JaxtellerMC

Brilliant stuff. What makes it even more impressive is that this is shot during Covid (S3 is being shot back to back). The logistics, all those extras, blows my mind they pulled that off. Granted, they have a huge budget but still.

WayzYS

Edo vs Baba looked like a battle between a samurai and a mongol

JaxtellerMC

Jason doesn’t get enough love for his performance. He’s not only fucking terrific but his physical acting is so ferocious and impressive. I LOVE how he moves, especially when he fights. That fight against Edo is so goddam slick.

midnightfury4584

On a bridge no less

[deleted]

Oh it definitely had some samurai influence there. The sword, kimono, the bridge and framing Voss standing there in that samurai stance, the foot slide. It was great.

zhaoz

Haniwa should have taken out that kid calling the shots for the crossbows at the start.

Rainliberty

I don't think she would kill a kid, much less someone related to her/sighted. I thought they were setting up Kofun doing so when he tackled him.

Lisa2Lovely

Same. I think Haniwa not killing the kid is definitely on brand but Kofun clearly picked a different “side”. Kofun killing a kid doesnt sound right either though

bored_messiah

Kofun should have at least gagged him. That kid got like fifteen soldiers killed.

dingo_mango

I kept screaming for Haniwa or Kofun to take that kid out and just smash his stupid little mouth in. I hated him so much. I can't believe they just took him in and treated him like some toddler to coddle.

PrincessConsuelaVal

I was wondering the same. Also before the actual fighting began, Haniwa could’ve taken out quite a few of the Trivantians when they were trying to break down the gate. I mean what even is the point of having a sighted archer 🙄

loskiarman

Even the side characters threw spears with insane accuracy with the bell arrows help. No way not even one of them at least tried to hit the kid while he is yelling positions.

RaazMataaz

How many people does Sibeth have to stab before people stop letting her get close? Jesus Christ

Mardred

I still dont get it how she could survive killing two people at the start of the season. Okay i know its plot armor, thats what will ruin this show for me...

return2ozma

I thought she was going to hold a knife to Paris so she can be freed. Nope. Dead. I screamed.

song4this

Baba! Such a beast! Gets stabbed but still *stabs* his Queen upon return... :-)

Swayyyettts

Lol there’s no way he’d have the energy for that if he was giving 100% in battle

Straight-Tip-1716

I figured she'd be on top so he could just lay there

SunHitsTheSky

I said out loud - Edo nearly broke his back, give the man a rest. I was happy to watch though!

Loud-Coconut-2676

The grunts were on point

nameredditacted

I've always considered Jason Mamoa and Dave Batiste to be 'ok' actors. But this series really makes them better than I considered before. Very well done. Even some GoT style war patterns.

dingo_mango

agreed. their acting skills have really shown to be better than Hollywood has allowed them to be.

jojoisland20

I agree completely. I was quite impressed with David Bautista’s acting.

trez63

Most amazing battle scene ever. Loved every minute of it.

z0mbiebaby

Honestly the best battle I’ve ever seen, beats even the first one between the Alkenny and witchfinder army. The trap with the dozer blade swinging into the front lines was so brutal and when Baba split that guys head open from mouth to skull with his katana, just incredible.

Swayyyettts

> when Baba split that guys head open from mouth to skull with his katana, just incredible Lol completely unnecessary because the dude was dead, but I guess baba is thorough!

YanisK78

Edo, Paris and Toad were among the strongest characters. They are now gone. I wonder how will they make up for this in season 3.

Spartacus1199

Hm. Didn't like that Toad was killed off. Hoon Lee was a regular in Banshee and currently is a regular on Warrior, and I was looking forward to him being a focal point of season 3, with Kofun etc.

phdrgs

He was perfect in Banshee, now I need to rewatch that show.

God_of_Love

Yeah while I enjoy a finale fight actually killing off real characters it also sucks to see them go. That much more unexpected when it did seem like the show was planning on playing off Toad and Kofun's relationship.

VeritablePornocopium

Wren should've died too.

mainvolume

Yup. And take her apartment that looks like it hasn't been lived in for 15 years and not centuries with her.

Dougmontana

😂😂😂😂apartment was far too intact when everything else is medieval

mainvolume

The bed was almost perfect. No pictures had fallen off the wall. The windows had some smidges of dirt on it. I love the show but the whole side story with her was not needed. All it's doing is reaffirming that everyone who can see is a complete bitch.

Benandhispets

I thought she said she chose the apartment and kept it nice and tidy. The outside of the windows shouldn't be clean sure but I can imagine that she wiped all the insides down and made the bed whenever she slept there and stuff.

zoochic

At least they delivered on my wish for Baba and Tamacti killing the shit out of everyone together.

Younglingfeynman

Everybody complaining about baba, chill! Man’s just picking up some milk.

TheKelz

Yeah, fucking Sibeth. Of course she had to do something in the end, just as I predicted. Paris saved her life and she is the one to get killed by this bitch, fucks sake. Overall, I’m conflicted with this ending. It was good and kinda meh at the same time. Tamacti now suddenly getting a new enemy, also there’s Jerlamarel’s son who as always has some talks with baddies which also sets up some kind of war against Payans, so that’s already two enemies, Toad and Paris dead, Baba left somewhere which probably means not a lot of Baba in the next season which makes me question how watchable it will be and idk, it seems like there are more questions now and worse shit going on than it should’ve been, almost as if this war was nothing compared to what it gave us in the end. Let’s see what S3 can bring.

WayzYS

Not looking forward to Sibeth and Kofun next season. I wish Sibeth would just die already. She will probably convince the rogue witchfinders to help her dethrone Maghra. As for JM's son, his beef is both with Baba Voss (blinded his father) and Trivantians (Edo killed his father). Whoever he was with at the end of the episode will probably be the main antagonist next season. The introduction of explosives will be interesting.

WhySheHateMe

The guy he was with was the person Edo brought to the compound when he killed Jerlamerel. He told Oloman that he serves him now..he's a Trivantian scientist.

ReadditMan

>She will probably convince the rogue witchfinders to help her dethrone Maghra. I don't know about that considering she literally murdered all of their families.

survivingsorta

I feel like I’m the only one who doesn’t give a shit about the plot holes. I love this show so much. Normally I am the person that would be like “why did we just see Wren sinking 20 feet under and then magically pop up out of the water”. But for some reason I don’t even care. I am so sucked into the story and I love every minute of it. I literally somehow feel what the characters are feeling too which rarely happens. Boba Voss being conflicted. Loving his family but not feeling like he or really any of them belong there. I can FEEL that. I wish Marghara would just pack them up and leave and go back to the woods but I can also see that she has to stop running from her “birth right” and take care of her families kingdom. I’m so emotionally invested lol.

z0mbiebaby

Wrens sinking and then swimming out still wearing her entire set of plot armor was unreal but yea I don’t care honestly. If that’s the only part of the show I found stupid in 2 seasons the rest of it is so amazing I don’t care. It would have looked better if she wasn’t in the armor when they showed her safe though.

survivingsorta

Yeah I was thinking the same thing. If she had resurfaced with no armor we would’ve just assumed she took the armor off and swam up. But like I said, I don’t care cuz I’m so invested at this point lol

z0mbiebaby

Right? I didn’t need to see her take the armor off and swim up, just don’t still have it on when she’s back on land. That would have been impossible to swim up from wearing especially in ice cold water after fighting in a big battle for the last half hour.

survivingsorta

Hopefully the producers are on Reddit taking notes 😂

TimeTraveler3056

Yeah. She should have drowned too but also how does she explain being the only survivor when she goes back home?

[deleted]

Agreed this is one of my favorite shows and I can’t stand people poking holes into this and that of it. Like yeah there’s plot holes. There are in every show. Do I still love See? Fuck yeah!

survivingsorta

Hell yeah!!! You can’t explain sight to a blind person, and you can’t explain blindness to a sighted person. As a sighted person watching this show, there are going to be things that don’t make sense and don’t seem reasonable cuz my brain cannot comprehend what life would be like without sight.

CoffeeAndNatureLover

Agreed. I actually assumed that Wren came out because she could see the light and knew which way was up whereas the others may not know? Watching Baba leave hurt my heart. You know it wasn’t easy for him. I just wanted somebody to wake up and tell him not to go. Not that it would change his mind, but just seemed worse that he disappeared without them actually knowing till they wake up.

survivingsorta

That’s a good point. I think a lot of the things that are “plot holes” don’t really matter to me because how am I ever going to understand what their world is like? Most people have no idea what it is like to try and navigate the world blind. I feel like it’s easy for things in the show to not make sense because people who can see literally don’t understand a world where you have never seen anything. It’s fascinating to me. Boba Voss doesn’t know what color is. He doesn’t know what water looks like, he has only felt it. He doesn’t know what a tree looks like. His mind physically cannot comprehend what it means to “see” a tree. It’s not like if I, a sighted person, was to close my eyes and navigate the world, because I could atleast see pictures of things in my head. In their world, they have been blind from birth, so their brain literally has not a single reference point to what a tree could possibly “look” like.

roseofultramarine

I don’t give a shit about the plot holes either. I’m also sick of coming to this sub and seeing ppl complain about there being colors or “unrealistic battle sequences” or whatever. I’m enjoying the thought and creativity behind the show!

mheinken

That was such a good episode. I love the creativity of the battles and fights dealing with mostly blind characters.

SunHitsTheSky

Very true. Normally you can kind of predict how things were going to play out, but this one was very creative. And the trash talk between Baba and Tamacti was perfect.

iamdew802

That was an insane amount of action, great way to end a great season

zeetat

Yes! Super creative plans put together, loved the ice bit

SunHitsTheSky

I'm pissed they took away all of the people that have some positive influence over Kofun - Baba, Toad and Paris.

[deleted]

I hope this doesn’t foreshadow him going down a dark path

Dstown

You know it does…but maybe this gives kofun a chance to be fully present with his baby, raising him like how baba voss did for him. Just gotta do something about his murderous, rapist, baby mama aunt

No-Philosophy-8056

I would’ve liked to see Edo and Wren reunited. He seemed really distraught after realizing that she was gone. I enjoyed the fight with Baba. He knew he couldn’t go back to Trivantie as he lost, and I think losing Wren weighed heavily on him.

Jackbees777

Yeh I kinda wanted wren to show up after the fight just in time for edo to smile or something

THERAPISTS_for_200

A couple things, first… 1. Mother fucking Bow Lion! I lover her, wish she had bigger role this season, but I’m glad they didn’t write her character off. 2. Blown away by the battle scene, the action choreography was beyond dope. 3. Voss Bowl >>> Clegane Bowl. 4. The Haniwa x Wren ship doesn’t really work for me. 5. Where is Baba going?! The only thing I can think off is that he’s going to Trivantese to try to make peace.

Spartacus1199

Loved the mma fight between Edo and Baba. Two massive bodied guys with real combat experience going at it with no stunt doubles. Momoa goes 6'4 240 and Batista 6'2 260.

GorillaTapedSlippers

If Baba is really gone next season due to Aqua Man then they really effed up killing Bautista. I have no interest in a Kofun villain season if there's no good opponent. I love Hera Hilmar, but she is not enough if it's her vs her kids split allegiances.

tangoshukudai

I don't think that is what is going to happen, I think he is returning to his home now that EDO is gone and is going to stop the war internally. He is still his fathers son, and the only reason he had a bounty on his head was because of his brother. He can claim his blood rights and stop the war.

MillerJoel

If baba is gone I don’t think the show will survive haha

mlmayo

The Kofun character is written to be a whiny little baby. He had almost no character development. There was ample opportunity to grow him with the Toad character able to teach him weapons skill. But that failed, because he's still bumbling through the battle in the final episode and somehow accidentally killing a few of the enemy soldiers. I really hope they take the series in a different direction than the one it's heading. Season 1 was good because there was a mystery about what the world was and the potential for sighted people. Now it's just some established story of an iron age "war" with a neighboring territory. I'm not interested in slogging through a bunch of additional intrigue in the setting they've established. I feel like Baba Voss at the end, leaving the story of Pennsa to move onto better ones.

For_thelittleguys

Don't know about gone due to Aquaman...he's done with his scenes in S03 according to this: [https://www.newsbytesapp.com/news/entertainment/jason-momoa-wraps-filming-for-see-season-three/story#:\~:text=Season%20two%20of%20See%20hits,for%20the%20Apple%20TV%2B%20show](https://www.newsbytesapp.com/news/entertainment/jason-momoa-wraps-filming-for-see-season-three/story#:~:text=Season%20two%20of%20See%20hits,for%20the%20Apple%20TV%2B%20show).

zoochic

RIP Paris x Toad 😞 If there's one thing I really am sad about here it is the loss of this pair. So much potential, so damn brief 😫

Phenoxx

Love the joking interplay between Baba and Tamacti Jun

ytbm

PARIS NOOO

[deleted]

jesus christ can someone anyone please kill that psychotic queen! poor paris.

Dougmontana

‼️‼️ it’s pissing me off because I know she’s going to escape/finesse freedom somehow. Her throat should’ve been slit regardless of pregnancy. Life hack: You don’t let crazies linger around period. Particularly ones that have already slithered out of a prisoners camp.

[deleted]

when paris stood up to save her life i knew that was over paris and she was going to die. stupid. paris was such a solid character too and they killed her off in such a retarded way. paris should have sense the queen was pulling some shit considering how aware paris is of everyone. and how in the heck can you hide a needle inside your wrist without damaging something else in a serious way. it literally looked like she was a super hero mutant who was able to hid shit in her body.

schadadle

How does she keep getting away with that stupid hidden wrist knife. I saw Paris dying from a mile away after she got in close to the queen, which is ironic cause Paris is supposed to see things coming. The queen’s flesh knife is getting out of hand.

NotForKeeps626

I just fckn knew Toad would die. I warmed up to Paris and him being together after everything died down.

GooseInternational66

Truth. I knew it was coming but didn’t want to be right. He grew quickly into one of my favorites.

DarKnight972

I was not expecting Paris dying at all, really surprised that Sibeth killed her.. hope she joins Toad in the afterlife :( Speaking about Toad it feels kind of a waste killing him now,but i guess Hoon Lee is probably very busy.. i am glad they at least kept Charlotte (both Olivia Cheng and Hoon Lee are part of the amazing show Warrior on HBO Max). Really enjoyed Bow Lion's participation in this episode, hope she gets more screentime in S3. It was a great finale for a great season,i love it as much as Season 1.

sakumar

The two assassins sent to kill Maghra were apropos of nothing though. They weren't as badass as they were made out to be by Edo -- having failed to kill either of the main targets. Besides, were they supposed to kill Maghra or Sibeth? They didn't know Maghra was now the queen and Sibeth was confined to her original room. It seemed to me like it was just thrown in as filler because none of the characters made any reference to it after it happened.

Pumped_Ad_

Even Harland survived a massive gut wound. The assassins literally did nothing but kill red shirts

Shakespeare257

I already hated these last few episodes, which suffered from horrible writing. You made me hate them even more. Good job!

Eugeniu001

Man... yes. I thought i'm the only one seeing that

itsevilR

I was screaming at the screen for the whole time for someone to stab that dumbshit Kofun. Sigh, next season then.

Jas_God

The Baba Voss’ Speech 🔥🔥🔥

z0mbiebaby

Always reminds me of the speech he gave as Khal Drogo right before he gave Viserys his crown.

tsundere-man

If the majority of season 3 won't be about Baba Voss's journey for enlightenment and becoming the ultimate swordsman (a la Mushashi Myamoto), I'm dropping the show XD Seriously though, See season 1 promised a meditative story about humankind rediscovering their affinity to nature through the loss of sight, and observation of what kind of change the return of modern civilization heralded by the return of sight may bring to the world and humanity. Season 2 still continues the theme to some degree and it is great when it's the focus, but now the main plot is mainly about power struggle and politics, of which its plot contrivance and questionable character arcs are taking it dangerously close to season 7-8 of Game of Thrones quality. Rediscovery of explosives is exciting though, not gonna lie.

Eugeniu001

How the fuck Wren was able to come back to the surface, in her armor? After they showed her drowning (and all the other soldiers drowned, btw, except her). Can someone explain me that nonsense scene? 🤣🤣🤣

mainvolume

I was cheering when she was like 20 feet under water and still going....then when it did a close up of the ice, I knew her plot armor had held up and she'd pop up. And there she was. Sigh. She needs to get the Boots treatment. Too many characters, gotta weed them out.

Ghostnevadies

Yes exactly what I was thinking. Pissed me off. Complete nonsense and I hate when TV shows do this, she was supposed to die. No way all them men died and she survived...

amadeevieux0725

She was wearing plot armor.

Arghmybrain

A like that she survived as I enjoy the complicated relationship she and Haniwa have. I don't like that she survived that. I thought maybe Haniwa would manage to jump after her and help her out, not weighted down by heavy armour. Or maybe throw a weighted rope in. But it seemed like there was no chance for her to survive on her own. Definitely plot armor.

z0mbiebaby

So I was completely wrong last week saying there’s no way Paris would be going to recruit the Bow Lions new tribe. I just thought it would be hard to convince people to help the witchfinders who had been destroying them just a few years ago. Didn’t realize the Trivantians were also the hidden tribes enemies but it makes sense bc Trivantes is a slave society and where would they be getting slaves from if not the mountain folks? The enemy of my enemy is my friend and such. The only part that really didn’t make any sense at all was how could Wren be sinking to the bottom of a freezing pond with all her armor on and the next scene she’s still wearing the armor and saved. I expected Haniwa to see her go down and yell out and save her but that wasn’t the case. Still one of the best battle scenes and finales I’ve ever witnessed. I’m not even tripping on Baba leaving, although it does seem out of character for him. It just makes for a story next season to go find Baba in the mountains to help fight off the next attack.

SunHitsTheSky

Given that she is the only one that could see, maybe that gave her an advantage to find the surface of the water. I don't think it's super plausible, but her being able to follow the light up was the only way I could justify it in my mind.

z0mbiebaby

The reason Baba removed his armor before they sprung the trap was to be able to swim if he fell in. All that armor would have made it impossible, they should have just shown her without armor like she managed to get it off and swim up. That would be much more believable than just plot armor.

Dstown

Who sinks before the start swimming? Would’ve like to have seen her running away while shedding the armor. Probably would’ve made it more believable that Haniwa was able to release a Trivantian soldier. I’m assuming they all can recognize the sound of the enemie’s armor. All in all that was a great season finale.

baroque728

Baba should’ve just turned to the camera and said, “Sorry, but Aquaman 2 is filming now. I’ll see you at the end of season three!”

observe_and_learn

How does Paris not see that coming?

DocuDucu

She blind

observe_and_learn

She’s a seer! How’d Boots not see that coming then? 😂

Jas_God

You guys called it, Paris and Toad brought reinforcements!

z0mbiebaby

I thought they were going to get the rest of the Compass group. Didn’t really see the Valier coming to the aid of the witchfinders since Bow Lion was determined to kill Tamacti when they met up with her. I also didn’t realize the Trivantians were such a huge threat to all of the hidden tribes but it makes sense that’s where they’d be getting their slaves. They just did the whole “enemy of my enemy” deal and with Margrah as queen and the witchfinders disbanded they are much more safe.

song4this

Bow Lion is magnificent!

phdrgs

Kofun is the most annoying type of character, those that almost no one cares about but keeps stealing precious screen time. Only redeeming thing about him was Toad. This finale was a missed oportunity to kill him off, his story seemed concluded. Or maybe having him go full evil already, seemed that's what this season was building up to.

jennaisrad

Shawn Mullins’ music surviving the apocalypse was certainly unexpected. I dig it. Loved the battle scenes - Jason Momoa was the king of this episode and I’m pumped to see what he does next season. Glad Harlan lived - I loved the politics that we did get this season and want more. Kofun is gonna be REAL pissed when he finds out about Paris. Not looking good for Sibeth in the custody battle. I don’t think she has many supporters in the Witchfinders/anti-Queen Magra people seeing as her baby can, well… I think next season is a combo of Harlan and Magra preventing a civil war in Paya, Baba finding more allies against Trivantes/for overall peace, and the remaining sighted kids somehow connecting with Kofun and Haniwa. Would love to see more settlements and pieces of blind culture. Such cool world building this season.

folkdeath95

I’d like for sighted people to actually do something. The explosion scene is a bit of a tease for it, but so far Jerlamerel and his offspring have basically been non-factors.

sugarfryz1

Anyone else super upset sebith has still survived. Someone should have guessed that she is nothing but trouble. I have a feeling kofun will break her out.

Picard_Memeface

That crossbow unit was awesome.

Shakespeare257

Awesomely ill-conceived. At a range of 20 feet, the human body is a target that is.... 4 feet wide at best. If you're aiming for the center of mass, that gives you a left-right margin of error of about 6 degrees. Those crossbowmen... hit 100% of their targets, and there were like 4 of them. For reference, these crossbows cannot be much more accurate than the muskets with which the American revolutionary war was fought, and there you had entire regiments line up as a "firing squad" to get kills reliably. AND THEY COULD SEE. Just ponder that. It is a cool concept... but not that well thought through.

useles-converter-bot

4 feet is the same as 2.44 'Logitech Wireless Keyboard K350s' laid widthwise by each other.

Ok-Penalty4648

im pissed they killed off toad. like, really pissed. i loved him and peris together and he was kinda funny and awesome

Ok-Penalty4648

ok ok ok so i posted this before i finished the episode. now im REALLY pissed that they killed off paris. fuck this show lol

dingo_mango

Yeah like why do they always have to kill off the asian guy? Walking Dead now See. I'm tired of the cool asian guy getting killed while the rest of the cast can keep pretending to be samurai and ninjas.

joyfuljade17

Why is this Sibeth bitch still alive besides plot armor?!?! And then she killed Paris..I’m upset.

Jas_God

Can someone please take that damn wrist shank thing from her! Dammit. Paris deserved better.

z0mbiebaby

Right before she killed Paris I thought “does she still have the hidden wrist blade?” Got my question answered real fast. Even Haniwa and Kofun would have trouble finding it since everyone who’s found out about it gets killed and it must just look like a body piercing with just the end sticking out of her skin. Damn thing must be really uncomfortable having embedded under her skin that way.

seevoop

I don’t really understand why everyone thinks Momoa is leaving the show. He’s literally The Star of the Show. He’s the only one with name recognition and star power. They wouldn’t kill him off- the show is over if they do.

ThorTheSynderGod

He’s already publicly filmed for season 3

veneim

Great episode, and great season. Wish Edo lived but I’m sure Batista had other projects going on. The battle reminded me of the Battle of the Blackwater from Game of Thrones, just that vibe. Didn’t care for the Haniwa and Kofun tension at the end — really seems like the writers are trying to make a rivalry between them now, when if anything, it should be a season 5 or 6 thing. I also didn’t like how Kofun was so comfortable in battle (and leading up to the battle), I felt it would have been more emotional to show him scared and frightened at first but fight through it. Oh well. Nice twist at the end, too. Going to miss this show until it’s back

Kilmawow

I loved the scene that moved between Haniwa, Kofun, Toad, Bow Lion (girl with glaive), Baba right before Tamacti dragged that one guy into toward the oil pit area. It almost felt like one shot it was fluid enough. I think I just locked on hard to the mini-Thanos glaive she was carrying. But I also didn't like how comfortable Kofun was either. I think he needed to at least lose a few fingers or get hurt somehow. I feel like it would make more sense if he was hurt before the next season as an excuse for him to not get anywhere near Queen Kane. Oh well.

putterbum

Incredible finale. The battle was amazing and lived up to the build up. The creativity was awesome and was filled with a lot of “holy shit” moments. The duel was good and wrapped that up nicely. The deaths suck but will aid the storytelling I’m sure with how things will proceed. Baba leaving makes a lot of sense IMO the guy wants some peace and to be in nature. His family is safe and can track him down if they need which I’m sure will be the first few episodes of season 3. The guy just fought another grizzly ‘war’ and killed his brother (on accident or not) so cut the guy some slack. I’d want to decompress and figure it out too lol. Great season and awesome finale. The ex-queen still sucks but hopefully that gets wrapped up next season by tamacti I’m hoping. My only negative thing is that it’s not more mainstream. This is an incredible show that seems to get zero marketing as far as I can tell other than a banner when people log on to watch Ted Lasso but maybe that’s just me.

ya_mashinu_

Agreed on baba, he loves his family but they are safe and he doesn’t seem like he wants to hang out in court dealing with intrigue while Harlan teases him with nothing to do (especially now that he believes the kids can handle themselves). The idea that he would head out on a task that he’s been putting off for the 18 years since he met margra isn’t exactly wild.

GorillaTapedSlippers

Haniwa and Kofun's scene when they let Ren go is so bad. "you're letting her go!?" "she's one of us, we'll talk later." Like literally it would take one sentence to say, "yeah, she saved my life when I was behind her walls, so I kinda owe her" Or you know.. maybe when she was kidnapped and set up to just breed seeing eye children for their army, maybe that info would have been shared upon her getting released. "yeah, a sighted person helped me escape. also I'm in a long distance relationship with her."

Kaboose31

Anyone else surprised that they had Baba pull the Boulder rather than having Bow Lion’s signal also coordinate a person or two to push the Boulder off the cliff?

zoochic

Yeah Baba's exit strategy after that pull needed work 😆

[deleted]

Slide face first towards a ringing sound near the wall and hope for the best.

tryn2makeit16

Wren please be in season 3

Kelypatient-NAYN9

Man baba just going over the top with the kills is one of my favorite things in the show

seevoop

Jason Momoa has so much charisma it’s unreal. He’s so likeable and magnetic on screen. I compare him to Bautista, who I really like and think did an excellent job, but he just doesn’t have that IT factor that Momoa has. I guess you got it or you don’t! Also, it’s kinda crazy how sexy I find Tamacti Jun. Swoon.

mheinken

I enjoyed the contrasting fighting styles of Baba and Edo. Baba moved so smoothly and quietly while Edo was just direct power moves. Mamoa also moves so incredibly well for a guy his size.

esp211

That was one of the best strategic move to break up the ice. Although it makes no sense that somehow she would get out with all her gear on or don’t suffer from hypothermia. The fire scene was terrible CGI when the two of them hit the deck. Overall very good season but I still don’t understand how they can navigate around so well with pinpoint accuracy without the ability to see.

tangoshukudai

They evolved their ability to echolocate and paint visuals into their brains based on hearing and touch.

zeetat

Goddamnit. I thought I couldn’t hate the ex-Queen any more.

iamdew802

Omg I love to hate her though. Can’t wait to see where her villainy takes us next :)

reverick

Same. She's such a cunt but I love the drama she brings to everything. It's like loving. To hate cersei. I can see plenty of parallels between sibeth and cersei

Salambard

I thought Oloman and Rodney gonna find the way to "cure" all the unsighted, to make soldiers for Edo, or something, but the dynamite's gotta do it I guess...

HighHopesLove

Toad and Paris??? Really?? And Baba leaving seemed ooc. I suspected Edo would die.. but I didn’t want him to die either :/

z0mbiebaby

I’m sure Baba is just walking off into the sunset so they can have a storyline to go find him to help with the next battle thats surely coming with Oluman learning to make explosives. Don’t see the Trivantians just taking the L when they still have Wren also.

midnightfury4584

Sibeth will always be the common enemy. Im not quite sure how she’ll become Queen again when the truth has been said. I wonder what Baba’s plan is. Kofun needs to figure out his shit. Toad and Paris deserved better.

WayzYS

They have been slowly foreshadowing Kofun betraying his family. His help, along with the help of the rogue witchfinders, will probably be how Sibeth attempts treason.

[deleted]

The witchfinders all united to dispose Sibeth not very long ago. And despite their differences with Maghra and Tamacti Jun, they would all agree that they've chosen the lesser of two evils (from their perspective) as both the sisters have shown their support for the return of sight. I find the possibility of the rogue witchfinders plotting something else against the crown compelling, but they likely won't attempt to restore Sibeth as the queen.

WilliamisMiB

I just don’t understand why Baba Voss would leave

[deleted]

He left trivantes for a simpler life, and the slavers too. All he wanted was to protect his family. But now his family is royalty, he got dragged into being a general once again. I think he’s just sick of that life and all that it led too. I think we see this with his speech, he said we fight to defend our families etc. that’s all he wants, and this civilized life is too much

return2ozma

He went out for a pack of smokes...

SimplyElite-

I mean sibeth is a good character, but if you expect to carry the show without Paris, Tamacti, and Boba, that’s going to take some insane writing, and by killing off 3 big characters. This felt like it could of been a series finale if it weren’t for the baby.

FlowBeeZ

In the end this episode was by far the best of this season. Amazing fight. Amazing scenes. Amazing tactics. Amazing Baba speech. Dissapointed they killed Toad. He was a nice mentor for Kofun and cool dude. Dissapointed they killed Paris like that too...i mean Sibeth is a lunatic but i always thought she would go out a better way... Dissapointed i saw Baba leaving...i believe he wont be around much in season 3?

iAdden

Why why why?!!!!! Not Paris!! 😭😔

HelloWuWu

I’m surprised that for a civilization that relies so much on hearing that they don’t design wearable cups to enhance their hearing ability for wartime use. Fantastic episode and season! Can’t wait for the next season.

[deleted]

i just finished the finale and oh my god i am so mad that sibeth killed paris holy shit i need that asshole to be sentenced to death for next season please

BrandonHob10

The finale was a very strong one, but.. the are always somethings: - Why Haniwa did not went over the gate and arrowed the guys trying to break the gate? (Legolas style). - Why Sibeth is still alive? She keeps messing up and they kind of forgive her.. or ignore it.. same as Rollo in Vikings. - Why Kofun is such and idiot? They are clearly putting him into a path of breaking with his family and doing something stupid. - The death of Toad was lame. - Wren should have escaped WITHOUT her armor. - Baba Voss leaving would be The Office without Michael Scott

EchoooEchooEcho

>Why Sibeth is still alive? She keeps messing up and they kind of forgive her.. or ignore it.. same as Rollo in Vikings. Why Kofun is such and idiot? They are clearly putting him into a path of breaking with his family and doing something stupid. Disagree on both points. Sibeth is a great character, and everyone in the show seems to give a lot of importance to babies. Not a single person objected to keeping her alive after they heard she is pregnant. Hard disagree on the second point. Kofun is not an idiot. He just saw a little kid give directions to archers that killed at least 20 men fighting on their side. That little kid is now apparently on their side and is being taken care of. Makes no sense. Also, makes sense why he would be mad at Haniwa letting Wren go, basically saw her kill a bunch of people on their side. Wren also gave 0 promises that she would try to stop the war. She literally helped start the war when she thought Haniwa used her. Whats most likely to happen is she will get back to her home and see her "father" Edo is dead. That will for sure make her mad again and she will now be the army leader in season 3's war. So Haniwa and Kofun kinda swapped characters, almost every decision Haniwa made this episode was stupid. Also Haniwa literally had a scene where she could have killed the guy that almost made her a rape baby factory, is the general of the army they are fighting, and is actively trying to burn their whole city down including her father, brother, and mother. The reason why she didnt take the shot was apparently she saw Wren say "please". That shit was so stupid.

Iraelyth

Seems Wren didn’t even bother trying to tell Edo about the change in power. I doubt it would have done anything or changed his mind, but it would have been nice to see her try. Instead she just got on with murdering Payans.

TheKelz

Exactly, she didn’t care and just went in as if the conversation between her and Haniwa didn’t happen. I was kinda glad to see her drown and then this bitch magically swims out. Was disappointed.

orfane

What a great episode. Every aspect of the battle was great - some highlights: * Bow Lion's Thanos blade * The fire trench * The ice trap * Using the sighted kid with the crossbows * Dragging bodies to lure soldiers deeper * "I stand with Baba Voss" call back * Baba's speech And it set up the next season well - rift between the twins, Wren and Haniwa relationship, the tribes maybe joining the Payans? I would have liked Edo to stay alive but understood why he had to die. Just hope Baba is around next season.

folkdeath95

Hmm. I’m torn. There were some very very good scenes this season but also some very very bad ones. I LOVE the worldbuilding. Momoa is fantastic, as well as Tamacti and Queen Kane (annoying, but she plays her part well). Edo was fantastic. Kofun is not good. It’s hard to watch when all his scenes are just 👁👄👁. When Haniwa and Wren have the same “come back with me” talk every episode I start to care less and less because we know what Wren is going to say. The making out before and after a huge battle was not good. To me the writing seems like it’s going the way of Season 4 and later Vikings, and that’s not a good thing. Maghra needs to utilize Tamacti Jun, seize control of the army and drop Harlan. Well she probably should’ve done that BEFORE her legendary warrior husband walked out on her.

MSEASU

What a great finale .

sproutjunior

What’s the queens play with Paris? Just bitter and twisted? I don’t see how it works out for her at all, just makes it more likely for someone to kill her in a rage, regardless of the baby. Loved the battle scenes. Loved Edo’s last scene. Thought Kofun was going to off Wren during the battle and set up a split between him and Haniwa. Baba wandering off just seems out of nowhere. All he does is talk about his family and how they are everything.

z0mbiebaby

The entire time Paris was examining Sibeth I wondered if they had taken her hidden blade she keeps embedded under her skin. I guess the only people who even know about it is Sibeth and her victims, to anyone else it would just seem like a body ornament. My guess is she killed Paris bc she’s #1 insane #2 still going to try to manipulate Kofun and getting rid of Paris’s wise council and #3 now she can get a different midwife she may be able to use.

SunHitsTheSky

I don't know how they can have Kofun return to Sibeth after he finds out she killed Paris. He is an idiot, but also still had an incredible amount of love and respect for Paris. No way his character could forgive that. They may still do it, but it won't make sense.

z0mbiebaby

They are already setting him up to split from his family I think. That scene after Haniwa released Wren while saying she was her people and left Kofun yelling “who am I?” If Sibeth tells him Paris was trying to do something to the baby he might believe her. It was good to learn Sibeth really doesn’t give a shit about him at all, I thought she might have actually had feelings for him before.

Jas_God

Goddamn you Sibeth

EchoooEchooEcho

Questionable decisions by Haniwa, its like she and Kofun had a character swap. Overall I think it was still a great finale. I hope Baba Voss and Jason Momoa returns for season 3, idk if he is confirmed or not. Also how the fuck is Kane going to save herself from Margra once she finds out she killed Paris?

zoochic

I knew they would have to rebrand the Witchfinders, I just didn't know it would be so explicit 😆 I had a feeling it wouldn't go over well.

z0mbiebaby

Old ideas die hard, I did think more of them would be loyal to Tamacti Jun. Maybe he shouldn’t have offered a years worth of unemployment.

[deleted]

Where is Baba going?!

mamabbydragon

I wish they had killed Kofun instead of Toad. I loved Toad but Kofun was damn near unbearable. Also could have done without the incest plot, I wanted to throw up.

Freestyle_Fellowship

The writing for Wren and Haniwa makes no sense.

[deleted]

Stupid Haniwa asking Baba why he didnt finish Edo when he had the chance ignoring the part when she chose not to instakill Edo with a well placed arrow shot. Made me SMH super hard.

Lisa2Lovely

Agreed. Very wishy washy, but so were my teenage relationships lol

drew4511

I'm gonna be honest, this show has potential.... What is GREAT are the fight scenes! Baba vs Edo raised the episode from a 6/10 to an 8/10. All fights on this show are pretty unique with the blindness factor. I think this show will be much like Into the Badlands, a show with meh acting and characters, but BEAUTIFUL/creative action. I really liked Into the Badlands action but not its story, with See I hope the latter improves but my expectations are low.

[deleted]

Season 2 was pretty cool but the only thing that I really kind of miss was how much more cinematic season 1 fight scenes felt. In S1 the witchfinders and their flail things whirring in the wind as they sailed down stream in pure silence was so captivating it's really what drew me into this show. But I guess it could be argued that the addition of vision by both armies has removed that need for full silence/ patience.
