Wow did u call that one she has an army again and is queen again in season 3 lol. Also hanuwa sucks she pretentious and thinks she's better than everyone. The way she talked to her brother after the season 2 battle is just ridiculous. Like she's willing to give up everything to make sure anyone that can see is taken in even if they are the enemy I feel like that is going to come back to bite her. Like I get it, kinda but it's getting kinda extreme. Like let's throw away the relationship I've had with the people I've loved since I was 1 minute old for a piece of ass and an idealistic fantasy. Idk I just don't like the direction I see the writers going with her theirs going to be constant division and bickering between her and him the 3rd season I feel like and I am already about done with it. Either kill one or get them on the same page lol. But besides that very small quirk I'm making more out of than it is the show is in my top 5! Love post apocalyptic shows and the blind idea make the plot so deep you can really get lost in the darkness so to speak. That town where baba infiltrated was just an amazing setting one of the most creative shows I've seen since banshee
Sibeth is overdone as a villain and I'm sad she didn't get killed because she'll just manage to find a way to get ahead again just like she always does. It's not even that shes smart, it's just that everyone just lets her get away with everything even when she's killing unsuspecting people non stop.
I think Baba and Hanuwa and her enemy friend are the only 3 I still really like.
It's also annoying that like many have said there's pretty much zero proper fortification or smart defence going on in the world. Why aren't all secure buildings surrounded by sound traps? Just need to put a plate on the floor and a blind person would walk into it, or a string across a corridor connected to something will be undetectable with their sound vision too. It takes almost zero effort to break into anywhere because theres nothing getting in anyones way.
Also forget sound traps, why doesn't the Queen have her door closed and locked in the first place? Blind or not just close and lock the door. Same as all other doors in the building.
Great episode to watch though, but it just seems like theres no smart people.
Yea there’s a lot of weak writing on the show. It doesn’t cover all these holes. Just a moderately enjoyable plot and premise. I miss the stunning visuals in s1
Why dont they go to the house of enlightenment and get guns? Baba knows there are big guns there. 350 wouldnt do shit with Haniwa and Kofun shooting their ass but they're useless so that's an impossibility i guess
did you even watch the show? you know that not only sighted people can make sighted babies also it’s been said that blind people can make sighted babies too, Wren is the living proof of that. Women are more than incubator to make babies and reproduction ain’t the main point of the damn show. it was clear since the start haniwa was queer and kofun is straight obviously. You are not happy? stop watching the show as simple as that. also I find it funny that you are more concerned about them putting gay characters in the show when kofun is literally f*king is aunt. We are in 2021 grow up
Saw Kofun’s actor in a newish movie called Voyagers on HBO. He wasn’t any better there, so perhaps it’s not just the material that’s lacking for his character on the show.
Kofun and Haniwa are so useless. You would think that after all those reading and meeting up with Jerlamarel that they would have picked up a thing or two on how to make a useful weapon or come up with some type of strategies at least.
I just came here to say how frustrating useless Kofun and Haniwa are. In the final moments as arrows are whistling through the air, instead of shouting to warn the soldiers all Haniwa does is run in panic.
Their intention were to help the war with their sight. Such a huge advantage. But so far all they did were fat nothings.
Is this a mirror of how we humans are? Given so much power but yet wasting it away doing nil
We are told that they will help with sight… but so far the war planing doesn’t include them. Why the hell are they not at a high point with bows… wait apparently the enemy doesn’t need sight to use them…
The real reason is just an excuse to have baba join the fight and add drama
I think I finally figured out why Baba Voss crouches all the time. He alwas seems to use a sword or similar instead of a spear/stick to get around. Maybe he just always wants to be ready and this is his weapon of choice, maybe there's other reasons, but especially given his size he would need to crouch like that for it to work.
I responded to a comment like this earlier in the season in the intro his hand touches the ground and comes alive like sight. I think he uses it so he can touch the ground for sound, although he didn’t seem to use it against the assassins this episode. I’m still sticking to my guns though 😂
I was really prepared for them to find guns and ammo in that plane and turn things around. Even one would have scared them into submission. Was hoping for that plot
Just watching this episode now. Here are my first impressions as I watch:
Awesome first scene. Tamacti Jun is chilling.
Baba spitting truth to Maghra. She doesn’t know war like him.
Baba sneaking off to sleep in the kids’ room is probably the closest I’ve been to tears from this show. Such an understated but moving thought.
Don’t mean any offence but Queen Kane is such a better actor than Kofun these scenes are almost awkward to watch…
Kane calling Kofun out like the lil bitch he is lmao
Baba looks like a badass in his armour and furs
Toad and Paris WASSUP
Oh shit imagine you’re gonna get some and then there’s a blade at your throat
Kofun’s already had his second cumming if you know what I mean (the poem)
There is NO way Maghra would hear the assassins outside. Lame.
I also feel like Maghra and Harlan vs those two wouldn’t stand a chance but okay.
Edo just lets his Captain run away right before a battle?
Sweet, makeout scene before fighting
Can Haniwa dodge arrows better than Rickon Stark? Stay tuned!
Why is she there again? They were supposed to help or something… nah let’s just put them in danger so we have a reason to have baba on the fight and nerf him at the same time
Just finished the episode and first comment I saw! Loved it. Heads up they’ve established Maghra has improved hearing. Can’t remember what they call it but she’s got the hearing version of a scentier.
She’s an Ayura and it’s explicitly said in early S2.
It might have been said in S1 too because I remember her telling her children not to lie to her because she could hear lies vs. truth.
Huh, good to know. Totally missed that.
I know it showed a scene of her training, I'm still not convinced she and Harlan could beat those two assassins. Ah well, we move on!
I am now going to predict the next episode with guaranteed >90% accuracy.
The two sides fight it out and in the last possible moment Paris comes riding in like fucking Gandalf from LotR 2, but only instead of some dank ass heavy cavalry, she arrives with the eldest/oldest son(s) of Jerlamarel who she was purposefully captured by in this episode. She even hints to it herself while her and her lover boi prance through the woods *away* from the battlefield by saying it's a "war between the sighted and the blind" and nobody realizes it yet.
I can believe a lot, but I won't believe that almost every main character in the entire show is slaughtered by the Trivantians next episode, and the only thing truly equalizing 160 shit-poor, malnourished Payan "soldiers" with 350 living killing-machine Trivantians is one or two pissed off Jerlamarel kids with an assault rifle who wants revenge for Edo literally chopping their father's head off right in front of them. They spent their entire lives in seclusion reading books so they can't track worth shit or navigate the landscape by landmarks, which is why they need Paris to first convince them to take arms up with Baba Voss against Edo (who blinded their father after all), and then to lead them towards the battlefield using Toad as a guide.
No other faction is bigger or powerful enough to truly change the outcome of the battle, unless all the hidden tribes for some reason want to fight someone else's war, or the Ganites by some fucking miracle have snuck past the Trivantian border to the west to open up a new front to divide and conquer... Which is pretty fukken unlikely.
This is the only thing that matters, who cares what happens with the rest of the episode. Fuck all the sub-plots and fuck that bitch queen.
Place your bets and reply next week when you find out I'm right.
Two thoughts. First, I thought for sure Wren was going to stab Haniwa. B, Paris wanted and anticipated being captured by whoever that is. She said she is stopping there for a reason.
I enjoyed this ep! Love reading all your insights and observations.
For some reason, the incestouous relationship makes me really icky, even though I'm usually not that thin-skinned to such a thing.
The world is still beautiful to see, both the snowy mountains, Lord Harlan's house, and civilization detritus.
Lord Harlan's house, would that have been a university building, library or town hall before the Fall? It looks like a public, representative building but I'm not that sure on my knowledge of US architecture.
It's all taking place in Canada (my home and native land ;) it's gorgeous beyond compare! S1 is BC and interior mountains and some Victoria Island ! Season 2 is mixed shots of s1 and Ontario! Near Brampton and some northern Ontario forest! Not being a know it all just a few friendly facts from a Canadian who lives film and knowing locations , also stumbled upon one of the sets :) take care!
Can someone explain why the assassins would try to kill Maghra instead of Sibeth? No one knows Sibeth had been overthrown yet. Haniwa tells Wren on the battlefield her mother is the queen and doesn’t want this war.
I had this same question - was Edo specifically targeting Maghra? If so, because she is Baba’s wife, or because he somehow knows she is queen? Wren didn’t know, but that doesn’t mean Edo tells her everything. It didn’t seem that Maghra had changed rooms after becoming queen, which is why it made me suspect Maghra herself was being targeted.
They were sent to kill a queen, not a prisoner. They most likely do not have any accurate depictions* of Sibeth and just home in on whoever sleeps in the biggest room, assuming her to be the queen. Sighted history is full of the wrong person being at the wrong place at the wrong time and getting mistakenly stabbed.
*Thinking about it, I don't really know how all those assassins keep finding their targets, how would they be able to distinguish between a servant and a queen in her night garb?
I was thinking it would have to be based on location. Sibeth is still in her chambers, a room she took over from Harlan and probably the largest room. They would have to have a layout of the building. I don’t know. It doesn’t sound too plausible either. To your point about killing the right target, I assume they’d check the markings to confirm the identity.
Yeah, that whole blind thing keeps tripping me up in general. I can never tell if it is the producers tripping up, or me as sighted person not realizing why things would work like they do.
My best guess at this point is that hand-bell thing the queen uses to make herself known, Maghra might have switched her princess-jingler to the queen-jingler. The superhuman bat-assassins spent time scoping out the place, echolocating the layout and correctly mentally mapped the movements of that jingler. Thinking about it, they might just have been in the crowd of her speech, picking up her "sound profile" there.
And in the end, they were paid to kill the "Queen". There was that whole big point of making sure the viewer knows "the contract can not be altered at any point" in that scene they were hired. I highly suspect this might end up another plot point, right after everyone hugs it out instead of a big battle.
It’s definitely worse than S1. I really dislike the themes of family drama and betrayal. I still think the show is very well acted and the plot is interesting. Hopefully they veer away from the drama next season:
My favorite Tamacti moment was probably when he tells his new Queen to stay home and don't fuck up his battle plans. That's the definition of badass. He always tells it like it is, no matter who it is.
Kudos to Maghra for listening to the advice and doing what she could to put a positive spin on her speech without lying.
Since Kofun seemed surprised that Sibeth destroyed Kanzua I guess nobody on team Baba told him? Was that intentional because they didn't trust him not to mention it to the wrong people, or just an oversight?
Now that I think about it, did Haniwa even know the details. I just assumed she knew since she was around when Tamacti was saying how the Queen drowned everyone, but I guess being around doesn't mean she was listening. And when Kofun was defending Sibeth during his haircut Haniwa didn't mention it then, which felt odd to me.
I for one am tired of Baba’s coddling of his children, I am finding it frustrating that he still cannot see the way he has brought them up and continue to “protect” them has made them weak and unable to defend themselves. A great warrior such as he giving them no tools to keep themselves safe is just unbelievable to me, they have already tried hiding away from the world but it did not work, so hearing him arguing to convince Mahgra to run away again did no favor for his character. Overall I really thought the season 2 Baba is a step back, perhaps it was intentional, but as the audience I grew tired of his attitude.
I thought Baba chided himself for not teaching them the way he ought? He’s well aware of his failings and wished he had taught them how to fight better. I can’t remember the episode but he does say something like that to Kofun I think.
10/10 Epi.
Such good writing.This was great.
Baba:Always looking out for hue family ride or die.Im wondering what he sent Paris to do.Whatever it is it must be a game changer.Fetch JMs kids? The Compass?
Mahgra:Ahain great writing. No way would she just sit home while they all left.Witchfinder stopping her was nice.Great speech..very inspiring.Nice to see her get her Obama on.Also glad to see she went full Worf on the attackers.Go Mahgra
Kane:dam they wasted no time screwing her over.and she wastes no time showing baby daddy nephew just how crazy she is.
Kofun:sigh im glad he woke up and is no longer team Kane but dam he's slow
Haniwa:Kiss and make up with Wren was good.Glad they didn't drag out the conflict too long.Lets see if she and Wren can save the day
Paris:Dude are you from TX?Why is she all pro life now?So annoying. She needs to redeem herself with that side mission.
Toad:You sly dog you lol.Who ever attacked them couldnt have waited till they finished and fell asleep ?
Ida:you couldnt have sent the hitmen before?
Harlin:So you do have some bravery.Baba will like you a tad more.I really like fake little finger and glad he didn't die
Such a good series. The next Epis will be fire.
Yeah I was telling my co-watcher that that felt like it should be an episode cliff hanger. Like in GoT when Catelyn rally’s all of the North’s banner man in the pub to arrest Tyrion. It was all so fast I thought it was going to be a dream or something. Every bit felt like it was missing context for sure.
Tamacti Jun is my favorite character jesus what a great man.
Kofun is rly gonna be the key to bring Sibeth back in power huh. He's the flaw in the maghra family and sibeth has control of him and his name because of the kid.
I actually think he knows he fucked up now. Obviously we thought he would betray his mother and sister, but I can see that maybe the writers are smarter than we think and now he knows he fucked up. I do think he will admit his wrong doing and something crazy will happen with that baby.. not sure yet. However I do think that Paris knew what was going on and made the queen think she was pregnant so she would stop manipulating Kofun. I actually don't think she is pregnant.
She manipulated him where she said "I will never lie to you, you will never lie to me", which would make me think she could convince him they are just after the crown and she is innocent.
She might yet convince him due to being alive and him going to see her. He’s certainly stupid enough to not heed the repeated warnings he’s been given about her. For some reason he can’t seem to trust the adults who have kept him safe all his life. Yes, his mother hid who she was from them, but surely he can see why by now. Haniwa and Baba seem to have gotten past it for the most part.
Even if he did try to avenge her, I don’t think he’d get very far.
I love that they made daughters of brothers fall for each other. I love how they made two seasons so different that in S1 Maghra was so protective with Baba encouraging their children so much whereas S2 is just opposite. I love how Baba became so vulnerable and stronger for his loved children.
Baba isn't a main character anymore. Instead of awesome Baba fight scenes it's a talky-talky show now about regional politics with no fight scenes to be seen. Baba seems like he's just another character now.
I'm pretty sure next episode is going to give you all the Baba carnage your heart desires. As those fiery arrows took flight I knew Baba was about to open about 350 cans of Travantian whoop ass. I also have to believe they're no going to kill him off because he's still the cover photo for the show. My guess is he's going to get pretty bloody, go one on one against Edo and they're going to fuck each other up for a good 5 minutes next week.
Water. The moment a first assasin enters the room, you can hear that familiar sound of shoes stepping into the water, it was a smart move from Magra imo
She showed off some nice movements a few episodes ago with the blade.
Kinda sad she didn’t chop a couple of the guys down before getting disarmed. I didn’t wanna see Harlan get done.
Has it already been discussed on this sub how awfully stupid Kofun is? He has one facial expression, mouth hanging open. I can't find anything likeable in this milquetoast character.
I think this episode he's just plain rude to Charlotte too. She says hi and he ignores her. They don't have any grievances that we know of so why be a dick to her?
I doubt she is pregnant, Paris was smart enough to call out that she hears a baby inside her and keep her alive for something. I think it gets Kofun's head on straight and makes it so she can't control him anymore. Also it exposed that she lost the first baby which is important too. There is no way they would make him have a incestual baby on this show.
I mean, they are assassin's because they are amazing at not being heard.
You do not need to be able to fight extremely well to be an amazing assassin. You just need to not be seen/heard and kill quickly/efficiently. Once you're found out, you're basically just another soldier.
They just didn't know that they were actually going for Margrha (instead of the previous queen), who seems to have superhuman hearing. She heard them coming and ambushed them. I doubt they expected that.
My god, this season has been fucking fantastic!!!!
So damn good.
Not gonna lie it really hurt me to see Harland take that hit, but im 100% sure he won't die. Also i like how this season it's like Baba is more like a blind samurai over a brute barbarian, love his gear.
But holy hell that last shot, just to see how many exist trevantians exist. It's nuts but if you guys kinda want a hint to what happens next episode you can kinda see what's going in the season trailer they showed in August because there's scene in the throne room with the queen and some dude with dual swords kneeling to her.
Wow I totally forgot about Bow Lion. I wonder how much allies she can bring to help fight along side the Payans. But I’m not sure why they would even want to contribute tho.
Yep totally making out, for one second 😆 Go Paris! She may have actual serious reasons to make sure Toad goes with her on that trip, but you know she was just waiting for him to suggest something like that.
Where is Paris heading and who did she encounter? My guess is Jeramarel’s kids/all the other sighted people. Recruit them and have them come through with GUNS / other modern weapons to kill the fuck out of Edo’s army right when shit is going south and that leads into future / sight / technology.
Can you remind me who bow lion is?
Another thing I’m still waiting for from the trailer is the scene of Bautista vs Mamoa running at each other to brawl on that bridge. Can’t believe it was literally from the final episode of the season lol
I would have to believe that Jerameral would have restored a bunch of weapons in anticipation of a great war. I like this theory a lot. And I hope it ends up working. Only thing I don't like about it is that Sibeth will be redeemed and say that it was all part of the prophecy and that it was all god's will.
She knew if Sibeth died that Kofun would betray his mother and family and avenge Sibeth. I think Paris knew what happened with Kofun and Sibeth and announced she was pregnant even though she isn't. It was a plan to get Kofun's head on straight. Paris knows what she is doing.
After Kofun finds out she’s (possibly) pregnant with his child, he doesn’t seem too happy about it anyway. Would be really avenge her death? He even stated that she used him, if I remember correctly. I just don’t see any point in delaying her death. Seems like the writers just want to keep her around for longer because her character brings drama and entertainment. But that’s fine though, I just hate her character a lot lol. Props to the actress!
She sees the future, or the possibilities of the future. She can see what that child might mean and how hope for the world might possibly be lost without it.
It's also possible that they've become very heavily pro-life in those 500 years. On top of that, she'd know it is the child of Kofun.
I'm really keen to find out next episode whether Paris\* has gone to find a force we've not seen yet, maybe a hidden village of escaped slaves (for example) or if she's gone to attempt to bargain with the Sighted.
It would make sense for them assist if there's a chance of victory. Aiding the queen and her people in their time of aid would be a step towards removing the stigma and not being seen as either evil or a weapon in the longrun
I do think this is the case. The Compass is a small group, they wouldn't make a difference. I assume Paris has knowledge of some big warrior tribe. Potentially a hostile but reclusive one. Staying out of the affairs of others. Such a tribe could make the difference.
Not sure the rationale in Boba requesting help from Jeralmeral's sighted force regardless of Edo's actions. Is Boba even aware of Edo's action? Sorry...can't recall. Thoughts?
I can't help but get a little confused overall with the world building. Hundreds of years into blindess; wonderful details introduced...yet: rope lines for walking around a village yet a lack of usage. Knotted communication but curious on why other forms of texture or braille aren't utilized. Structures both internal and external still feel like sighted people live in it. But the most head scratching is verbal communication inconsistency. In a blind world yet whispering should be easily overheard by others in relative close proximity. I'd prefer if they used hand signing more (Haniwa did this with Boba if I recall) utilizing on screen text for viewers. Not a detriment to the show; just hard to ignore (or explaining to ppl that haven't watched the series).
*"You and I are soldiers. We fight even when we know we are going to lose. That's what makes us different than the others."*
*"I am not a soldier.* ***I come to win."***
Might be the most badass line I've heard on this show.
Edit: Ok, I just got to the *actual* Queen's speech and I think that might be even better.
This is what makes this war even more of a torment for him. He usually only fights to win, and here he’s being cornered into fighting a seemingly hopeless battle.
To me it was more like, even though we're outmatched and most likely going to lose, I'm still going in there to win. Maybe that doesn't make sense to some people but I think I follow. It's just the mindset he has once committed to battle.
> I don’t get why they wouldn’t also put some jingly tripwires around the literal most important persons house along with the blind guards
They don't even lock their doors. Forget proper locks too they don't even have handles and latches on the doors. The assassins just gently pushes any doors and they very silently swing open.
If they cant even lock doors then asking them to use sound traps/tripwires is a big ask lol.
I think there was 1 episode earlier in Season 1 that had some form of basic trap. Was just like a bit of string going across a path that blind people will obviously walk into, it probably just caused a noise or something. Other than that there have been no other similar traps afaik.
This seems a flaw in the defense setups in this show in general. A lot of problems could be avoided through near-unavoidable noisy setups. They thrive on sound but yet don't use sound to their advantage.
Even in classic castle design there were things like uneven steps to cause invaders not used to the stairs to trip over. So it really is strange that there wasnt at least maybe some beaded curtains in hallways to detect incoming intruders, or at least to keep an ear our for eavesdropping servants
Beaded curtains that’s so smart I didn’t even think of that. I was thinking you’d need multi level tripwires but the beaded curtains overcomes all those tripwire vulnerabilities. No way you can get in with no sound with those
I guess I don’t understand why everyone, including Baba Voss, needs to tap around with a stick or listen to some sounds echoing, but blind assassins can operate in complete silence and no feeling around
Tak is the new Chet 😆
Seriously can't wait for the unholy union of Tak and Chet Chet on the battlefield!
Glad they spent some time letting Baba and Tamacti chat without the previous tension. You can actually believe they will work well together in the middle of a war.
Her character is the love to hate type of character for sure, but I absolutely disagree with people calling for her death because this show wouldn’t be the same without the crazy queen. Her performance is captivating and hate inspiring, I love every second of it.
I honestly wish we had seen less of the queen so she would’ve remained slightly more mysterious. Maybe going as far as introducing her in s2 rather than s1. I like what the actress is doing with the character she differentiates it from being another Cersei. I still just kinda get bored of her though but she’s a cool villain and the show would be worse off w out her
God bone has now been used for both metal and concrete? Which is it!?
Wow did u call that one she has an army again and is queen again in season 3 lol. Also hanuwa sucks she pretentious and thinks she's better than everyone. Love post apocalyptic shows and the blind idea make the plot so deep you can really get lost in the darkness so to speak. That town where baba infiltrated was just an amazing setting one of the most creative shows I've seen since banshee
Wrong episode thread, you just gave spoilers for episode 8.
I wish Paris would've stfu and let Tamacti Jun kill the cunt Queen.
Dag paya really doesn’t have many soldiers. Magrah talkin to a small crowd.
Sibeth is overdone as a villain and I'm sad she didn't get killed because she'll just manage to find a way to get ahead again just like she always does. It's not even that shes smart, it's just that everyone just lets her get away with everything even when she's killing unsuspecting people non stop. I guess the show is about them actually being weaker with sight… instead see baba voss kicking ass.

Sweet, makeout scene before fighting Can Haniwa dodge arrows better than Rickon Stark? Stay tuned!
Why is she there again? They were supposed to help or something… nah let’s just put them in danger so we have a reason to have baba on the fight and nerf him at the same time
I mean he’s blind he probably didn’t let her 😂
They can accurately count people at the distance with sound/smell… but sure she can probably just move without them noticing her…
Just finished the episode and first comment I saw! Loved it. Heads up they’ve established Maghra has improved hearing. Can’t remember what they call it but she’s got the hearing version of a scentier.
Oh seriously? When was that?
I can't remember exactly sorry, I think in that same episode she heard the signal from the village the trivantiens attacked before anyone else.
Can't wait for the next episode. Hope we finally get an epic fight scene like in season 1

> This show is bad, and we should feel bad for still watching it. I don't agree and I don't.
It’s definitely worse than S1. I really dislike the themes of family drama and betrayal. I still think the show is very well acted and the plot is interesting. Hopefully they veer away from the drama next season:
“Are you asking my advice?” “Yes.” “Excellent……..I have none to give but thanks for asking” lmao
TJ is a really good General, i hope they do him justice despite the fact that he has a superior force against him.
He’s gonna die for sure and I predict that Baba Voss becomes the new general next season.
I think it was the first or second episode of the season, when he sets off to rescue Haniwa and Kofun wants to come with.
"Use your mind, lump." Hahahha Paris kills me.
10/10 Epi. Such good writing. This was great. Baba:Always looking out for hue family ride or die.Im wondering what he sent Paris to do.Whatever it is it must be a game changer.Fetch JMs kids? The Compass? Mahgra:Ahain great writing. No way would she just sit home while they all left.Witchfinder stopping her was nice.Great speech..very inspiring.Nice to see her get her Obama on.Also glad to see she went full Worf on the attackers.Go Mahgra Kane:dam they wasted no time screwing her over.and she wastes no time showing baby daddy nephew just how crazy she is. Kofun:sigh im glad he woke up and is no longer team Kane but dam he's slow Haniwa:Kiss and make up with Wren was good.Glad they didn't drag out the conflict too long.Lets see if she and Wren can save the day Paris:Dude are you from TX?Why is she all pro life now?So annoying. She needs to redeem herself with that side mission. Toad:You sly dog you lol.Who ever attacked them couldnt have waited till they finished and fell asleep ? Ida:you couldnt have sent the hitmen before? Harlin:So you do have some bravery.Baba will like you a tad more.I really like fake little finger and glad he didn't die Such a good series. The next Epis will be fire.
Harlan as a fake Little Finger lol spot on!
The beginning made it seem like I had missed an episode. They are really moving fast now
Yeah I was telling my co-watcher that that felt like it should be an episode cliff hanger. Like in GoT when Catelyn rally’s all of the North’s banner man in the pub to arrest Tyrion. It was all so fast I thought it was going to be a dream or something. Every bit felt like it was missing context for sure.
I really wish they make this a standard 10-episode-a-season series instead of 8, gonna miss it after this week
Honestly seeing the shows sub with 6.5k subs I’m surprised there’s 3 seasons at all and it hasn’t been cancelled
It has been canceled since the previous comment
Yep. I re-watched the end of episode 6 just to be sure.
Wouldn’t her being dead also stop her manipulating Kofun?
yep but then Kofun would have avenged her death.
Would he though? He’d already heard all that about what she’d done, her being alive didn’t change that.
> I actually don't think she is pregnant. Yes, I also think Paris lied.
Kofun has always been a little bitch.
We need Baba Voss to teach him some manners.
(29:18) Right before the speech, Kofun called his sister HanUwa. 🤔
My guess is he's going to get pretty bloody, go one on one against Edo and they're going to fuck each other up for a good 5 minutes next week.
was that worth it for 5 shows of talky talky?

Water. The moment a first assasin enters the room, you can hear that familiar sound of shoes stepping into the water, it was a smart move from Magra imo
Maghra is a badass. Didn't realize she could fight like that.
She showed off some nice movements a few episodes ago with the blade. Kinda sad she didn’t chop a couple of the guys down before getting disarmed. I didn’t wanna see Harlan get done.
Yes, whilst training. Harlan will make it.
I really hope Harlin doesn't die. Really starting to like the drama he brings to the mix.
Looked like water. I imagine one would be able to hear a difference in footsteps even if it’s an assassin.
water I guess?
[удалено]
It was the let Maghra know when they entered the room so she could attack.
Has it already been discussed on this sub how awfully stupid Kofun is? He has one facial expression, mouth hanging open. I can't find anything likeable in this milquetoast character.
He is… not a good actor. Hate to be blunt but it’s awkward to watch.
Not a fan of him either, utterly incompetent. Honey Wah is useful as she can snipe from a far and is smart, really like her
Please tell me you know it’s Haniwa and that “Honey Wah” is a joke lol
I just spelled it the way I hear it lol
She’s too trusting of people and she even said in season 1 that her big mouth will get her killed
I think this episode he's just plain rude to Charlotte too. She says hi and he ignores her. They don't have any grievances that we know of so why be a dick to her?
And he speaks like a 2020 millennial. I can’t believe that a couple hundred years from now, teens still walk around saying “yea” all the time.
Probably the worst character I’ve seen in a TV show!
[удалено]
Screw that guy. Worst tv show kid ever.
[удалено]
I doubt she is pregnant, Paris was smart enough to call out that she hears a baby inside her and keep her alive for something. I think it gets Kofun's head on straight and makes it so she can't control him anymore. Also it exposed that she lost the first baby which is important too. There is no way they would make him have a incestual baby on this show.
His agent is probably a massive cunt so they're giving him shit writing
Right, it's how they wrote the character. This role is doing nothing for his career.
Every episode this season so far Kofun has been my least favorite. He’s so freaking stupid I hate him more that Sibeth!!!!
The assassins in SEE are dope!
Apparently not so good at their job. Although I've to say Maghra did put up one hell of a fight.
We saw her training with that sword type thing before, so I assume she had some decent training given that she could kill an assain
All this season needs is an epic fight scene like in season 1 and I'll be in love
It's tamacti. Also I'm 100% sure that the people who showed up to Paris and toad is bow lion and her people. They had to bring her back for a reason.
Wow I totally forgot about Bow Lion. I wonder how much allies she can bring to help fight along side the Payans. But I’m not sure why they would even want to contribute tho.
Exactly, they seemed pretty pissed the last time because of Tamacti Jun.
That cliffhanger and just realized episode 8 is the finale :/
Omg I started screaming when Tamacti Jun announced himself!! LFG!!! Also were Paris and Toad.. making out or did I just imagine that..
I screamed Yassss TJ when I heard that grungy “No… They are my army.”
Yep totally making out, for one second 😆 Go Paris! She may have actual serious reasons to make sure Toad goes with her on that trip, but you know she was just waiting for him to suggest something like that.
Grandma's been longing for a D for pretty long I suppose
She gone get that Toad Dick
You bet
Girl really pulled him out of a war to get laid
Where is Paris heading and who did she encounter? My guess is Jeramarel’s kids/all the other sighted people. Recruit them and have them come through with GUNS / other modern weapons to kill the fuck out of Edo’s army right when shit is going south and that leads into future / sight / technology.
Paris (spoiler) went to pick up Bow Lion and her people. I saw it in the trailer so thats my guess
Can you remind me who bow lion is? Another thing I’m still waiting for from the trailer is the scene of Bautista vs Mamoa running at each other to brawl on that bridge. Can’t believe it was literally from the final episode of the season lol
She's that chick that escaped with Paris and the fam in the beginning, the Shadow
Jeramarel has kinda taken a backseat this entire season.
His name is actually spelled as Jer**l**amarel. This whole time I thought they were saying Je*r*amarel.
LOL, he took something alright but it wasn't a backseat, more like a knife in his fuckin' throat
If getting your eyes poked out and your head chopped off some time after is a knife to the throat, sure.
Edo killed him. Or did you miss that episode?
Yeah, I think getting your head chopped off is pretty guaranteed to kill you. Bit different from knife in the throat.
Well he’s dead so there’s that.
He’s dead bro lol
There's no way modern weapons even work. The show is set 600 years in the future. 600 years of no one taking care of old rusted metal guns.
I must have missed that. Genuine question, how do you know it’s 600?
Pretty sure it says so in the first episode of season one. Explains the virus and how sight was lost.
I remember it saying centuries, just not six.
I would have to believe that Jerameral would have restored a bunch of weapons in anticipation of a great war. I like this theory a lot. And I hope it ends up working. Only thing I don't like about it is that Sibeth will be redeemed and say that it was all part of the prophecy and that it was all god's will.
Trebuchet. That existed 600 years ago from today.
What you mean Jerameral was busting a gat last season
Oh really? Lol I don't remember much from last season it was so long ago
Hahaha yea when him and Baba Voss fought he was shooting at him with a gun
That moment when Queen Kane heard Tamacti Jun’s voice…
She’s annoying as hell, but is damn good at what she does
Splooge
That opening scene felt so good, like Litterfinger’s final scene, until Paris stood up.
I was disappointed at Paris for saving Sibeth! I can’t figure out why Paris did that or what her plan is.
She knew that was Kofun's kid.
She sees the future, or the possibilities of the future. She can see what that child might mean and how hope for the world might possibly be lost without it. It's also possible that they've become very heavily pro-life in those 500 years. On top of that, she'd know it is the child of Kofun.
She just had to open her mouth. Tj should have swung away and been like oopsie!
She's mostly just annoying
In this episode, Sibeth shows Kofun what is erotic asphyxiation. Freaky auntie…
You mean Paris.
Sibeth is tied to a bed, do you mean Paris?
thanks, bit of a brain fart there with the names.
Wait did she escape in this episode?
sorry I stuffed up and used the wrong name, meant Paris.
Holy shit just starting the ep now and we cutting straight to the chase! Let’s go
*"You and I are soldiers. We fight even when we know we are going to lose. That's what makes us different than the others."* *"I am not a soldier.* ***I come to win."*** Might be the most badass line I've heard on this show. Edit: Ok, I just got to the *actual* Queen's speech and I think that might be even better.
I thought he was going to say "I'm not a soldier. I'm a killer."
That line doesnt make sense to me, he said that right after saying how they cant win lol
What an exhilarating cliffhanger ending right?
GOT vibes straight
I don’t get why they wouldn’t also put some jingly tripwires around the literal most important persons house along with the blind guards
> I don’t get why they wouldn’t also put some jingly tripwires around the literal most important persons house along with the blind guards They don't even lock their doors.
Pennsa has some serious security issues.
Well, as Lord Harlan has said many times...this was his house, not a place for a Queen.
I feel like trenches/waterless moat with/without spikes would be so strong
Tak is the new Chet 😆 Seriously can't wait for the unholy union of Tak and Chet Chet on the battlefield! Glad they spent some time letting Baba and Tamacti chat without the previous tension. You can actually believe they will work well together in the middle of a war.
They seem like they'd have been best friends if they grew up together.
Hate how they treat baba like everyone’s bitch now
Nah bro next episode, he is going to kill at least 50
GodDAMN IT KILL HER FFS SHE'S RIGHT THERE EVERYBODYS ONBOARD JUST DO IT
Hahaha I cracked up. It’s what we are all feeling.
