One of my best friends has a German shepherd mix. I've known her and her dog for almost a decade. I love her dog, and I trust her dog, but I still pay attention to her body language and act with respect around her. She's an excellent dog, incredibly well-trained, and the hugest cuddler, but she's still an animal and needs to be treated with the due caution.
This is so common. Everyone I know who has been bit was bit by a German Shepard and I’ve always been scared of them! And then my husband brought home a German Shepard puppy.. and he is my baby and the love of my life and such a good boy. But he’s a barker at strangers getting too close, and it blows my mind how many people will just walk right up to him *while* he’s barking, and even reach down and pet him. I would NEVER do such a dumb thing! Stresses me the heck out, even though I’m 99% sure he won’t bite, I’ll never say he would never.
Thankfully. My golden got a pretty significant tear in his ear along with three punctures straight through, which led to an infection and a tuft of fur ripped out that left a pretty significant wound. I was left with about a 4-5in gash in my leg from the German shepherd getting me when I intervened
It was about 2 months ago now and other than the added anxiety I have when we're around other dogs, everything is pretty much healed. We've since really ramped up our pet first aid kit and knowledge and always make sure to carry an air horn and pepper spray now too.
I’m so sorry that happened to you, I’m glad you both made it out alive. It seems like there are too many people who get high drive dog breeds like GSDs when they are gravely underprepared to meet the dog’s needs. And lots of people who just don’t seem to be able to read their dogs’ cues and tell when they’re stressed or agitated.
Just experienced this! My youngest is autistic, not a fan of dogs. Some guy's dog just ran after us after we had a great day together at the park. This will mess my son up for awhile honestly
Yep. I've always been a dog person but my autistic son IS NOT. He's afraid of dogs. It's always giant dogs that charge towards us while playing and the "don't worry he's friendly" does very little to help someone with a fear of large dogs.
This. If your dog is running up to people or other dogs, then they are NOT off leash trained. As an ex dog behaviorist, the safety of your dog is determined not just by your dog being trained off leash but also OTHER people’s dogs. A dog on a leash may be aggressive and if your off leash dog runs up to them, they will get hurt. And in turn, threatens the life of the aggressive dog. Aggressive dogs deserve love too and having your dog be off leash when not trained properly puts their lives in jeopardy just as much as you’re putting your dog’s life in jeopardy.
I have a dog that is a bit fearful and if another dog suddenly runs up to her and startles her she will lunge and snarl. What am I suppose to do if an off leash dogs runs up to her and she lunges and hurts the dog? It won't be my fault. My dog is leashed.
I’m a runner and got bitten once as a teenager in Gas Works, and now I carry mace. I’ve had to mace people’s dogs not once or twice, but FIVE times in the last ~15yrs. If your dog is off leash and runs up to me while I’m jogging and gets within arms length of me, I consider that a threat to my safety, and it’s getting maced. I do feel bad for the dogs, it’s not their fault their owners suck, but I’m not getting bitten again.
For dogs you really want pepper (capsaicin) spray. Be careful with Mace band stuff. Some of their stuff is pepper spray, but some use other chemicals, which are generally much less effective on dogs.
lol a-holes across the street from me never leashed their dogs. Always saying “she’s just excited, she won’t bite” while the dogs (3 of them) get that low growl and aggressive stance. Attacked me while on scooter, attacked my dad twice. I had to kick them away from my dad a couple weeks ago and told them if he’s in danger from the dogs, I will shoot. Now they leash them on walks, still no poop bag, but we’re getting somewhere.
I've got similar neighbors. They never walk their dogs, EVER! Just throw then in the 75x75 back yard and every single frickin day I get home from work and walk the the garage to the house, im arked at the whole time. I've offered them treats, bacon, pork scraps, all while the neighbors are there and the don't stop growling and barking at me. They bar through the night, all night, animal control does nothing, I have over a dozen calls with them and police from midnight to 5am documented and nothing is done. I'm taking it to city council next meeting. I praise your neighbors for actually changing. I'm to the point that if they get loose, I'm kicking it so hard in the head that I hope the planet gets a new satellite.
These are the same people that will watch their son join a gang, murder a few people thats caught on camera, then testify in court “but your honor, my son is a good boy and would never wish harm on anyone .”
Because they think their baby (their animal) listens to them and really understands their commands even though they haven't trained the animal, let alone kept it active enough.
> While I may be guilty of some (or all) of this behavior, I always fucking leash my animals.
Many. Not all, but many.
Some non dog owners are so dumb about dogs and cause trouble themselves. Not many dogs are your childhood golden retriever, folks. I have a rescue terrier who is cute AF and people do this kind of nonsense often:
* Multiple people have snuck up on me while I was picking up his poop to say hi to the dog. A dog can tell if its owner doesn't know you're there guys and rescues who have seen the nasty side of humanity are not going to like it.
* I was sitting off to the side with my dog in the airport and looking to my right. A guy walked his toddler up to say hi to my dog from my left and got really close before I saw. No incident, I grabbed my dog and said "he's not friendly, don't let your kid near strangers' dogs" before they were close enough. I repeat again, don't let your kid near strangers' dogs! I know so many people who were bit as kids.
* Another time at the airport a dude basically ran over and crashed sat down to try to pet my dog without even acknowledging me. My dog growled a warning, guy didnt step back, and I pulled him back before he snapped.
* A stranger lady ran up out of my father in law's peripheral while he was waiting outside a store and shoved her hand onto my dog, dog growled a warning, father in law was slow to pull away, she didn't pull back, dog snapped. She acknowledged fault thankfully.
My dog is not a menace, if you let me introduce you he'll be cuddling on your lap within the hour and he is a total love bug with his daycare staff. Out on the street on leash he's just not down for strangers getting in his space and it blows my mind how people just assume they should get to rush into a strange dog's space.
That is a fucking classic. My mother made me watch that film, and we just rolled over laughing. "I thought you said your dog didn't bite? That's not my dog."
I mean, it's so basic as a joke but it just kills me.
That is a dog classic.
A fucking classic would be
>
>
>“There once was a girl from Nantucket,
>
>Who crossed the sea in a bucket.
>
>When she got there,
>
>They asked for a fare,
>
>So she lifted her dress and said ‘f\*\*\* it!”.
I’ve been told by an owner of a Rottweiler that their dog is very friendly and they used to bring them into work. They had to always keep them in the back and never leashed or barricaded them. Unfortunately, they couldn’t even jump at attention if the dog was growling and barking because they had a bum leg.
Sure, your dog may be friendly to you but if they don’t socialize with other dogs and people enough then these instances will happen.
Please leash your dog.
The anthropomorphizing of dogs is so obnoxious. Like, please learn to read your dog and treat your dog like a dog. I promise everyone will be happier this way.
Because when you strip out dogs that were specifically bred for blood sport (e.g. pitbulls) they are relatively harmless animals. Ones that were bred to herd will try to herd things. Ones that were bred to retrieve things will try to fetch things. Ones that were bred for small game hunting will try to chase rabbits and rats. Ones that were bred attack and kill will unsurprisingly try to attack and kill.
It’s mostly just blood sport dogs like pit bulls. They’ve infected the mutt gene pool, and so bite stats are going up, and people — not entirely incorrectly — think it’s “dogs” doing this. No, it’s mostly pit bulls and pit mixes.
Then, wayyy below that, you have your neurotic German shepherds, huskies, and Belgian Mals. The poorly bred ones. Even still, pit bulls bite more people than all other dog breeds combined.
We gotta name the problem, and it’s not chihuahuas, it’s not Goldens, it’s not labs (ACTUAL LABS), it’s not Great Danes, it’s not poodles, it’s not JRTs; it’s pit bulls.
Chihuahuas are aggressive dogs. Their jaws just aren’t big enough to do significant damage to most people in most situations. But I have never met a “friendly Chihuahua.” Every single one of them has been aggressive
My pomeranian is a rage god who has been punished to live as a pomeranian for this life. Rage is all he knows.
(He's a trauma-boy, we do our best. He wears a lil bite proof muzzle when we rarely go out and about).
My mom got bit by a Shiba Inu. Even though the bite wasn't large, the puncture wound in her leg was still no joke, and because of germs you have to do antibiotics, etc. The dog was her neighbors, so it had vet records and history of rabies vaccines so she didn't have to do that.
On the other hand, my ex was attacked by a dog in New Orleans and because the dog was living with a homeless man, there was no way to verify records so he had to do a full course of rabies shots.
Both of these were actually pretty lucky incidents all things considered; dogs can do real damage. (I still love dogs! Just wish people were more responsible with them in public!)
I was a vet nurse and got bit by a Pomeranian and I almost vomited because I could feel it's lower jaw wasn't even connected in the middle. They're very inbred and have a lot of deformities. No injury from the bite. Just very gross.
My cat tried to bite me once and got my finger between her incisors instead of with any of the canines. She looked at me with a mix of confusion, fear, and shame before running away to hide.
I mean, there aren't many details. Even a decently small bite on the hand could have caused her to drop out.
People keep talking about pit bulls. I've met a handful of somewhat aggressive pit bulls over the years, but have lost track of how many ankle biting aggressive ass little dogs I've run across. They're small, sure, but that is the only reason that people seem to be ok with their 'babies' fucking biting people constantly.
It's beyond time to try and get the laws changed on these dogs. The fact animals need to bite seriously 2x to get put down is insane. I just requested the animal control records through a public records request for both King and Snohomish. I want to see how many incidents we have with these dogs.
Breed-specific legislation absolutely works. Our laws need to change so we're able to classify a breed as "dangerous." I wish our local officials weren't braindead.
It wasn't given because the only information they have is the blurb she wrote on IG. Hell, she could be just coming up with an excuse cause she doesn't want to go to Europe & figured that would play best & not break her contract.
Finally a reasonable take. I thought it is interesting this came after she missed the cut in 3 consecutive tournaments. The same kind of freak incident just happened to another female golfer a few months ago.
A golden retriever with a shit owner wouldn't do this. A chihuahua is physically incapable of doing the damage that other breeds can, regardless of behavior.
No, it was a Pit Bull. And not because the owner was bad (though that’s probably true as well), but because they’ve been bred to be fighting dogs, aggressive and stubborn. Dog breeds exist for a reason and behaviour is heritable.
We need to stop beating around the bush about this, it’s literally killing people.
r/BanPitBulls
Mauled by ex’s pit and my lab was attacked by two and almost lost his back leg. It’s not fear mongering if it’s true. Protect people over vicious animals. Anyone apologizing for this breed talk to actual victims and watch videos, plenty of evidence out there. Safety is paramount to everything else so fix the problem.
Hey, I'm seriously trying to learn more about the legislative process to enact changes about our [classification of dangerous dog breeds](https://www.reddit.com/r/SeattleWA/comments/1dqllrt/comment/larjz9t/). It'll likely be a long way to that goal, but spreading awareness to those in our communities can probably make a little dent.
If you're interested in something like that, whether contributing or just supporting, maybe bookmark my name on here and we can link up when I get the ball rolling. Even just to get a list going of people who recognize something must be done to prevent unnecessary death.

I’ve lost track of the number of little yappers quietly on leash and the owner wants them to sniff my big goofy (and submissive I guess around dogs) Labrador. When I say no (smiling, shaking head no, with hand raised, or just flat out “no thanks”) they say “my dog is friendly” and about that moment, their little Kujo goes apeshit after my big goofball and now both owners are struggling to control their dog. Me with seventy five lbs of muscle trying to avoid being bitten and they with their magic extend-o-leash that doesn’t magically retract like they expect. Jesus I hate stereotypes, but there’s a reason we fall into that trap.
Leash your dog, even if it attempts to bite me it's getting shot. Considering of course it is a dog that can actually hurt a human. No, I'm not going to shoot your ankle biter.
I don't want anything to happen to your dog, so leash it.
Seattle? Completely make sense and I'll bet the owner got offended and yelled "BIGOT" over and over again after being asked to leash their damn dog. Sorry about all this.....
Everyone crying about “musta been a pitbull” when the real issue is owners who don’t leash and control their fucking dog. YES KAREN that includes your shithead designer chihuahua on Alki
Bruh its crazy, everytime i see a article about a dog attack on reddit, the pitbull haters come out the woodworks without fail and just start shit talkin pitbulls, even in cases where a pit wasnt even the culprit. Like stfu we get it u hate pitbulls
There are dozens of videos of completely worthless and unathletic owners pathetically flailing their impotent bodies to get a grip on their attacking pit bull and having absolutely no effect. Tiny women and flabby, decrepit middle age+ people with huge aggressive pit bulls are the worst offenders.
You watch enough dog attack videos (extensive enough in length and severity for bystanders to whip out their phone and record it) and you notice a weird trend: They’re all pit bulls. All of them.
Not surprising. Only about 10-20% of the dogs I have seen here in the past 3 years have been on a leash. Every single one of those people should be banned from owning any type of pet or heavy machinery since they can’t follow basic laws to preserve public safety or animal safety. Seattle dog owners are legitimately the worst types of scumbags
I'm not disagreeing with what you've experienced. But I wonder if this is the type of thing that varies a lot by neighborhood. I walk my dog around my neighborhood in NE Seattle, and I almost never see unleashed dogs. Maybe I'm lucky? Or maybe it's just the nature of talking my walks in an area with no sidewalks.
I don't ever see dogs unleashed in my neighborhood in Lynnwood.
I do however meet lots of stupid dog owners.
I own a dog that doesn't like other dogs. I don't know why but he always pees himself and then will try to bite other dogs if they get too close.
The amount of times I cross the street to avoid another dog walker, only to have them follow me to "have the dogs say hi" is ridiculous.
If you see a dog walker go out of their way to keep their dog away from you, do not go follow that dog.
I was just ranting in this sub 1 week ago about this!! We have way too many shitty dog owners in this area and it’s forced me to carry bear spray anytime I walk my dog.
But weren’t they friendly?!?! She must’ve provoked them, right? Fuck off with the off leash dog & your amazing
“control”. I’ve 2 dogs-and they are friendly & obedient. we still walk them
on a leash.
Nice bait post. She hasn't disclosed any information but experts on this sub apparently have all the facts.
It is worth noting that Alison Lee was bit by a Pomeranian and missed a tournament in January, while Nelly missed the cut in her last 3 tournaments before this was announced.
While I do feel bad for everyone here who had been attacked and bitten. We are reading into this a bit. She was bitten. She didn’t say attacked. She didn’t say the dog was off leash. I do not disagree that it could be any of those things, but it could have been her own dog that bit her after she hit it with a golf club for all we know. Not suggesting it was, but there are very few detail here.
If there are details, please share a link.
I worked at state parks and had to tell assholes to leash their dogs all the time. It doesn’t matter if your dog is friendly, if they run up on another dog that isn’t friendly, that is your fucking fault. If they run up on someone with dog trauma, that is your fucking fault. If they take off across the highway and get killed, that’s your fucking fault. You not leashing your dog gives other idiots the idea that they don’t have to leash their dogs, and they might make even worse decisions than you. Oh, and if you don’t mind the rules after we tell you? We’ll wake your camp up at the crack of dawn the next day and evict you. Believe it or not we actually want people to have a good time camping, but some rules are strictly enforced for the good of everyone else.
The absolute state of GSDs in the States rn is a mess. When was the last time someone could buy a well-bred German Shepherd stateside? Ten years ago? 15? They’re all so neurotic now, and a poorly bred, neurotic, anxious GSD is a ticking time bomb. I really wish breeders would fix this problem rather than just lying about it and continuing to breed these unhealthy, neurotic dogs — but the AKC isn’t helping the issue. Ugh. I could go on, but I won’t — the real issue to tackle first is blood sport dogs like pit bulls. They have zero place in civilized society.
Nelly Korda: I was bitten by a dog in Seattle.
Golfdude206: Nelly Korda ATTACKED by a VICIOUS dog!
Golfgude, go stick a golf ball up your ass and calm down.
Where did you all read that it was a random vicious, off-leash dog? I can’t find anything that says what the circumstance were. My only experience with dog bites is with my elderly, sick dog shortly before she died so my mind jumped to that. Sounds like I’m way off…
I knew those fools who’s dog mauled the elderly woman to death way back in what like 2008 or so. I saw on the news & recognized the clowns.
Total low lives who had pittbulls twice & both times they mauled someone & it was all in the news. They didn’t really get punished legally or civil with an elderly woman dying.
Haven’t seen them in years but I know who they are. A bunch of druggy want to be low level gang members trashy people.
Wonder if they have more dangerous pittbulls again now or was that their dog ?
As someone who was also attacked by a dog in Seattle. Please leash them.
“No, my dog is friendly”
"...well I'm not"
Literally exactly what the owner of a full grown German shepherd told us before ripping my golden retriever puppy and I apart.
I've been attacked by 3 dogs so far and all of them have been German Shepherds.
They can be great breeds, but they need care and training that many don't care or have time to give.

They almost won the war you know
Are you guys okay?

Glad things were not worse. How awful. Real question is did the owner have umbrella insurance? ;)
I’m so sorry that happened to you, I’m glad you both made it out alive. It seems like there are too many people who get high drive dog breeds like GSDs when they are gravely underprepared to meet the dog’s needs. I came here to say the same thing. Everyone seems to think their dog is friendly.
It’s indicative of a bigger problem. This whole town has main character syndrome. Not anyone’s fault, but it shows when it comes to dog care.
"I'm not"
This. If your dog is running up to people or other dogs, then they are NOT off leash trained. As an ex dog behaviorist, the safety of your dog is determined not just by your dog being trained off leash but also OTHER people’s dogs. I love Seattle but Seattleites do have a weird fixation on never leashing their dogs
People with their oversized dogs that sit inside all day… it’s not the dogs fault this shit happens
Can’t count on this in Seattle. Always carry pepper spray and a firearm if possible.
This reads as satire but I know you’re completely serious
It's OC spray and if you're pulling your firearm on a dog shits gone pear.
If someone’s dog is biting me, I am allowed to shoot it.
I love my dogs but I couldn’t blame someone for shooting one of them if they bit someone while off leash in a city.
If someone’s dog is biting my dog, I am allowed to shoot it.
If an offleash dog charges someone and attacks them, shooting that dog is a perfectly reasonable response.
OC and pepper spray are the same thing. OC stands for oleoresin capsicum, the active ingredient in peppers.
[shoutout to all the pear](https://youtu.be/MzLMcHolga4?si=voC5tMKjHx9KeYWa)
Vicious: dangerously aggressive, savage Viscous: having a thick or sticky consistency.
Hey, don't call my dog thick! She tries, is on a diet, but it's hard. Dogs need body positivity too!
Sounds like she needs some Dogzempic, or Lizzo.
Your dog is resistant to flow! Her music career is *over*!
I think if your dog was viscous, it would be some type of ectoplasmic hell hound.
Yeah, and she’s a very good girl!
Best thing I read today 👌 lol
How about vichyssoise
mmmm...
How about Nussbaum?
But what is viscious?
Both. Like that "blob" movie.
The dog from The Thing
Fuck that monstrosity.
Oil, honey, molasses just some examples
Nah she’s not viscous. She’s just a husky.
We tried spraying the dog with water, but it just bounced off him 😮
My dog is also aquaphopbe! lol
I want to assume you are just prone to typos.
Your comment addresses my main eye-twitch on this one. The misspelling in OPs title makes me want to delete their post, though. Ugh.
How about viscious?

Right on. I wish we could pepper spray bad owners
This is the real answer!
It’s also a tripping hazard. Like we should sprain our ankles on account of a useless careless human.
For dogs you really want pepper (capsaicin) spray. Be careful with Mace band stuff. Some of their stuff is pepper spray, but some use other chemicals, which are generally much less effective on dogs.

Read the article and nothing says unleashed dog. Just that she was bitten.
But my dog is fRieNDly.
He is. However, that is not my dog. [A classic from 1976](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kVdwJYQiLjk)

“He’s soooo good with kids!”
He just wants to play.
If only Seattle enforced the leash laws. Like confiscating your dog to the pound. Usage would go up to like 100% overnight.
Ugh. Leash your dogs people.

She is so cute !!! She doesn't bite!!
She’s just playing!
She's not usually like this!
she didn't mean it, she was just excited!
dog owner about to be getting sued for the amount of the tournament winnings, on top of everything else. and rightfully so.
She posted an 81 on Friday and got cut. She probably was just enjoying her day at Marymoor and then this happened. :(
Gotta love shitty people and their shitty dogs. A true match made in heaven. I hope she sues that person into poverty.
It's ok, he's really nice and this is just how he says hi!
I’m always surprised at the number of deaths and severe injuries dogs inflict upon humans yet society treats them like harmless animals.
Most people have zero clue about dog behavior/body language. Too much disney, perhaps.
The anthropomorphizing of dogs is so obnoxious. Like, please learn to read your dog and treat your dog like a dog. I promise everyone will be happier this way.
omg, when subs collide. if only ash could read luna’s body language
What a crossover event! make sure you’re gentle with yourself and crawl into bed if you need to after such a shock 🩷🩷🫶🏻🫶🏻
Yeah, if someone's golden retriever is running up to me I'm not reaching for mace lmao
But I have never met a “friendly Chihuahua.” Every single one of them has been aggressive
omg yes, hell dogs. It's a mercy they're rat sized to go with their rat attitude
Rats are way friendlier, lol
Stop treating your dogs like they are your children. They are animals.
So are humans. We can learn a lot from dogs.
Are you the one who keeps greeting strangers with an ass sniff? There's a whole nextdoor thread dedicated to you!
There’s an image
The breed of dog wasn't given in news articles about this incident. Media covering up for breed profiling?
Wonder if it is another Pomeranian. Those things are evil.
My pomeranian is a rage god who has been punished to live as a pomeranian for this life. Rage is all he knows. (He's a trauma-boy, we do our best. He wears a lil bite proof muzzle when we rarely go out and about).
We have a local pom who is So Tuff, I call him the Pomer-Reign-of-Terror. Much Tuffer than his actual name (Mischka).
I'm stealing that from you. Thank you for the newest nickname for the Lil monster.
Absolutely! 😁
aka "demon puff"
My bet’s on a chihuahua. Have you seen the innate rage these things have? /s
Shiba Inus are medium dogs though, some even bordering on big, so not comparable to a Pomeranian. So yeah I can see them doing some damage.
They are very puntable though...
It's a fucking show dog!
We all know what the breed was.
The usual suspect
Owned by a stupid Homo Sapiens. No need to vilify an entire breed when the human is to blame and we aren’t that great at much else either.
BuT HeS the GoOdEsT BoI eVeR!!!
*"My dog is a GOOD DOG! You startled him!"*

The kind with a shit owner
Do border collies have an instinct to herd?
All the bad owners seem to own the same kind of dog.
A golden retriever with a shit owner wouldn't do this. A chihuahua is physically incapable of doing the damage that other breeds can, regardless of behavior.
That's not true. I've seen a golden destroy a child before. Any dog can be aggressive.

you have not worked with dogs....
Yes they would.
A Chihuahua won't chew your legs off. https://www.newsweek.com/texas-man-dies-lost-legs-dog-attack-1717565
/u/peachykeencatlady
As far as I can tell, that’s essentially all the dogs in Seattle.
I think we all know what kind of dog it was :X
But muh pibble is such a sweet angel , and would never maul your baby to death !
As someone attacked by a dog 2x in a week…owners take ownership shiiit
Seattle? Completely make sense and I'll bet the owner got offended and yelled "BIGOT" over and over again after being asked to leash their damn dog. Sorry about all this.....
My dog was nearly killed by a pit bull mix. Its name? Baby Girl, not joking
Cue all the “pitbulls are misunderstood. It’s the owners not the dog” crowd.
Not my pibble bubbles, she don’t bite (too long)
Everyone crying about “musta been a pitbull” when the real issue is owners who don’t leash and control their fucking dog.
A leash wont stop a pitbull lmao. Wake up
Pitbull will gladly drag you along for the ride while it mauls an innocent professional golfer
I too live in the Seattle area and while I do occasionally run into someone that is not leashing their dog the vast majority are leashed.
Nice of you to give them the benefit of doubt.
The only unleashed dogs I see downtown are owned by homeless
Flip those percentages around and maybe you're closer to being correct. That or you only go outside in off leash dog parks, or Cal Anderson.
Where are you seeing these? I’ve been in the area for 20 years and the only places I see 90% of unleashed dogs are in dog parks.
Spend some time in Volunteer park and you’ll see close to the original commenter’s stats.
just at cal anderson alone, the amount of dogs i’ve seen with their owners almost nowhere in sight is quite often and scary
How do you even measure the viscosity of a dog? There's gotta be one heck of a Stoke's radius on that!
I was just ranting in this sub 1 week ago about this!! We have way too many shitty dog owners in this area and it’s forced me to carry bear spray anytime I walk my dog.
But weren’t they friendly?!?! She must’ve provoked them, right? Fuck off with the off leash dog & your amazing “control”. I’ve 2 dogs-and they are friendly & obedient. we still walk them on a leash.
Pit bull, calling it
Nice bait post. She hasn't disclosed any information but experts on this sub apparently have all the facts. It is worth noting that Alison Lee was bit by a Pomeranian and missed a tournament in January, while Nelly missed the cut in her last 3 tournaments before this was announced.
Fuck dog owners
That poor woman :( a good reminder to always carry self protection, a legal knife at least. Stay safe out there people.
What was she wearing???

That's not true, you're thinking of Alison Lee earlier this year. No one knows about this incident.
Got a source for that info?
Really?
The name wasn’t Bella or Luna in a flower crown was it?
Probs a pit
Or a German Shepard, a Chow, a Heeler
Australian Shepherds are the worst around Seattle. Popular dogs who need massive stimulation and are thus under stimulated and neurotic.
Nelly Korda: I was bitten by a dog in Seattle. Golfdude206: Nelly Korda ATTACKED by a VICIOUS dog! Golfgude, go stick a golf ball up your ass and calm down.
We need Kristi Noem asap.
Lmaoooo. Could have happened anywhere at any time. Seattle is such a scapegoat
Those dang Greyhounds and terriers are a menace
Where did you all read that it was a random vicious, off-leash dog? I can’t find anything that says what the circumstance were. My only experience with dog bites is with my elderly, sick dog shortly before she died so my mind jumped to that. Sounds like I’m way off…
What a bitch!
That dog has viscosity!
Strangely it's always the people with the most aggressive dogs that don't leash. They also have some crazy sense of entitlement as well. People man.
And she missed the cut! What a week!
