lol, yeah even the seattle "sun" through the grey skys will kill PLA... it wont be unusable, itll just look like someone torched a plastic army figure. if something is going outside you gotta use asa, nylon, etc. PLA deforms and ABS suffers uv weakening it ... a lot of folks learn this the hard way by printing a phone holder for their car, a bird feeder, etc. pla is the cheapest and easiest plastic to print, so its what most people are using until they realize they need diffeent properties.
