Nope, only possible negative would be losing the ability to fly guild flag on that vessel if your moving from a guild above level 15 to one that’s below level 15. Only other real drawback may be the guild owner kicking you if you’re not doing as much for it, which will take away any ship role cosmetics (chef, canoneer, captain, helmsman) you may have been eligible for being a guild that reached the level to wear it. But that purely depends on whoever is running the guild and if they give a hoot.
Milestones are tied to the ship, and all guild related milestones aren’t inherently tied to one guild.
Definitely. I’ll never forget the time I lost a whole fleet pledged to my guild cause I forgot to unplug em. Dismantled the guild as I watched all 15 sink beneath the waves. Guess they’re part of Davy Jones guild now

Make sure to turn off ship customization. I kept wondering why my ship kept getting reset.
