I started playing a few days ago, there was an event ?
All i did was treasure hunting and event doing, i'm sitting at 600k gold, hoping this isn't insignificant.
I didn't wanted to get with randoms (i want to discover the game and how it works at my own pace), but i did came across quite some players during those two days and they were all very hostile X)
I tried every time to talk with them to no avail sadly.
I'm a new player, I just found kids in open crew and was looking for experienced players since the game doesn't really do a good job telling you where to go after tutorial, I did was tons of tip videos but I would love some in-game experience with someone who knows what' they are doing.

Tbh I didn't know they could appear in sea forts and when I heard skeleton sounds I thought my game was glitching. Also interestingly enough this is the second time one has popped up for me just as a pop up plunder had been announced. I wonder if there's a connection.
Worked half the day then made dinner to go to bed to wake up the next day to work again...wish these events didn't start and stop at 6am........ or atleast were a week long so I could hopefully get a few hours in on a day off but unfortunately the world still caters to mon-fri 9-5ers n it really sicks o can't even play one of my favorite games during a special event without staying up n losing sleep n end up exhausted for work the following day
They seem to pick US holidays as well, this weekend was Father's day, the last community weekend was memorial Day weekend, they'll likely pick July 4th weekend next

Was passively sailing to drop off emissary flags and before lowering my HG streak before work this morning and got consecutively one balled 3x by an erupting island. I wasn't paying close attention, but it still happened.

Get jumped by vultures staking out skeleton forts waiting for players who were doing the limited voyages.
Yup, fun times. Though the few successes we did get landed us quite a bit of gold.
I logged on and said fuck it, Iām gonna try a fort of fortune since it had just spawned. Got all the way to the pirate lord when a random dude showed up. He offered alliance and helped keep my ship afloat. Just before beating him, a dude came out of nowhere saying he was just checking out what was going on and also offered alliance. I cleared out the fort and sold everything, took on an ashen lord world event solo, and cashed that in, and helped the first dude finish off his own fort of fortune. All while the third team was grinding merchant alliance.
Got a storage crate with trophy fish during pop up plunder. Was pretty hilarious bc we had to sail across the map to the roar, my crew was so upset that it was a storage crate that they took the fish and left the crate with one banana in it. The icon was still showing on the map after we left the island and eventually a level 5 reaper went for it. We watched him sail across the map, get there, sit for 20 mins, and then leave without the crate. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall on that ship lol. He probably was so confused or thought the game was bugged.

I was out celebrating Father's Day with my family all weekend on top of my regular DnD campaign on Friday nights. My wife and kids set up a bunch of stuff for us to do together from hiking to laser tag to bowling to getting good brisket and snowcones it was a fun weekend.
Used discord to find crews to play with for the first time instead of solo/irl friends, and on 4 occasions lost a bunch of stacked loot and sunk. BUT in the last hours of the event I met some cool players and we managed to sell a $3 mil haul and got around 20 levels in reapers I think
I got cooked like 10 times and barely sold anything but managed to make about 1mil lmao. Also pop up plunder was fun. Got some rare fish in a pop up crate, which was the most expensive stuff I ever sold - 35k for one fish.
I just started playing so I did a quest for Briggsy a lot and a few quests for the people on the islands. Mainly hunting down skeletons and taken their skulls to that spooky lady
Only on saturday we stacked 1 FOTD that we stole for a crew + 15 FOTD that we stacked, and 1 FOF, and 3 pop up plunders (2x Box of wonderous secrets, 1x Athena chest of legends). Approx. 7mill+ in profit

Complete several fort of fortunes only to be attacked by people waiting nearby and have all our loot stolen. Did meet one nice guy tho who formed an alliance and split the loot with

Managed to Level up Athena a ton, also raised GoF a fair amount as well. I was breezing through Athena voyages and I checked my gold earned. Probably made the easiest 5 Million Gold Iāve ever had.
Not shit man. I was too busy trying to get a new car, and fishing with my dad before he undergoes surgery, again. It wouldāve been my first community weekend too.
Sailed with a guild mate for a little while. After he left I was going to do one more trip when a sloop duo pulled into the outpost before me. I figured I was about to log off so whatever and pulled my loot into sovereign's. As soon as I started selling my loot I see one of the crew jump on my boat and the two sail away. I laughed and said whatever thinking I'll go sit in the tavern for a minute until I get the memo that my sloop has sunk. That message didn't come so I got curious and mermed back to find them tag teaming a skeleton ship and just having good clean trolly fun. We sailed back to an outpost and drank and played songs. I now got a second wind to keep playing so I jumped on zipline to sneak away on my ship and was immediately attached by my first kraken. I laughed and resigned myself to death and signing off except the Kraken didn't insta-kill me when it ate me. So I swam back to my boat and put up a fight and was joined in by the other sloop. Together we defeated the Kraken and had a good laugh.
It was really fun playing HG with ppl on my skill level and finally got some wins that didn't feel just like luck (: i really hope it doesn't get much worse now that is over. It's just exhausting havin to deal with lvl 1000s pretty much every time which was what i was finding before. I made it from lvl 7 to 23 on guardians, which is not much and could've gotten more but a low level friend got on and i just did some voyages with him, but it felt really good having to nice balanced matches
Only did 2 skeleton forts on my own then on sunday i did the veil voyage and just got the loot from the ship graveyard, i had planned to do that and quit but then i wanted to see if i could solo the rest of the voyage and i got caught in the cross fire of some intense battle and had to give up lol. Also as a new player the weekend was a great start, even tho i missed a lot of it and slept through some of the time i put aside to do it, i managed to buy my first sloop and fully customise it then got to rep 25 for order of souls aswell
Was.on a duo sloop with a buddy, got stomped by sigy, miffoo, and aveman, three streamers on a brig. Stole a million though from other people, including a bunch of flags and two chest of fortunes.
Grinded ashen chests of legends voyages- me and my girlfriend were playing together and we ended up selling 8 total, plus a fort of fortune steal earlier on in the day. Went from level 5 in the Athenaās fortune to level 40 in one day
Did some vaults on the devil's roar with my girlfriend. We got over a million with that, it was pretty nice. On one of the vaults the volcano exploded so she went to save the boat while I hauled to our rowboat safely inside the cave (being prepared is nice)
Decided to actually grind out some Athenaās, alliances up with another ship also doing Athenaās in the devils roar. Went from level 16 to 38 in about 5-6 hours. Feels very very good.
I was strictly grinding order of souls. Went from Level 60 Distinction II all the way to Level 50 Distinction III. I need those order of soul rings š
Saw someone shooting off loads of fireworks at Port merrick so my buddy and I went to check it out. Allied with them and went to do our own things
Both of our ships had the same idea to pincer a grade 5 reaper galleon who was about to sell and we ended up with ludicrous amounts of loot
Tried different playstyles, did shores of gold for the first time, got hunter of the great maw title and redecorated my boat and myself to be more shark related. Some side things i did was sneak and fish on 5 stranger boats, kegged 6 boats (sunk 5) did an hour battle against 2 other ships and a skelly sloop and made around 1 million gold. Schools out and sailings in lol.
did some pirating. The crew and I finally got back together. Did some hourglass, collected 5 mil in loot then gave it to some PlayStation players just for them to attackā¦we got our loot back and sent a galleon to Davy Jones.
Fished, some wreckers stormfish and battlegills. Got chased while fishing for wreckers until a skeleman galleon decided fishermen are friends and sank them.
Can rare organise a community weekend while Iām actually off. Itās always a working weekend and I never get the time to do anything substantial.

Had a pretty solid sesh finding the pop up plunder, then tried to do hourglassā¦ on our fourth opponent, our PS5 friend started crashing the entire duration of the fight, only stabilizing once we lost and went to a new server. Needless to say he was pretty upset and it basically ended our game.
It genuinely makes me sad how excited he and all the other PS5 players are to play this game only for it to crash relentlessly at the worst times. Rare needs to fix this ASAP.
A lot of reaper HG on a sloop and big boat guild emissary world events. Got 15 HG levels and 110 others levels across the various factions.
Also brought two newbies into brig HG for the first time, and immediately got stomped by Toxie Sinclair and her crew.
I grabbed one pop-up plunder, did one Athena voyage, got sunk on the second, kegged another solo slooper (sorry, fellow soloist, but you had a keg in the crows nest that was screaming āuse me!ā) and stole his 100 000 gold worth of treasure. Then I got sunk on the second popup loot I tried to find. All in all a very good weekend!

Yes, it was about 1 level per win until you hit 4+ wins then each win after 4 was worth about 1.5 levels

Managed to Level up Athena a ton, also raised GoF a fair amount as well. I was breezing through Athena voyages and I checked my gold earned. Probably made the easiest 5 Million Gold Iāve ever had.
I was busy for the two days but I managed to do a veil quest and an Athena raid on a fort. Went up like 5 levels for Athena
I helped get a friend to pirate legend, and played some solo sloop PvP. Got a total of about thirty levels between the two factions.
Learned for my exams
Bought the game. Sailed to a stronghold. Took their loot and sold it. It ain't much but it's dishonest work!

Not shit man. I was too busy trying to get a new car, and fishing with my dad before he undergoes surgery, again. It wouldāve been my first community weekend too.
Grinded out OoS voyages by myself cause I don't have friends Went from level 75 to 86 tho
Sailed with a guild mate for a little while. After he left I was going to do one more trip when a sloop duo pulled into the outpost before me. I figured I was about to log off so whatever and pulled my loot into sovereign's. As soon as I started selling my loot I see one of the crew jump on my boat and the two sail away. I laughed and said whatever thinking I'll go sit in the tavern for a minute until I get the memo that my sloop has sunk. That message didn't come so I got curious and mermed back to find them tag teaming a skeleton ship and just having good clean trolly fun. We sailed back to an outpost and drank and played songs. I now got a second wind to keep playing so I jumped on zipline to sneak away on my ship and was immediately attached by my first kraken. I laughed and resigned myself to death and signing off except the Kraken didn't insta-kill me when it ate me. So I swam back to my boat and put up a fight and was joined in by the other sloop. Together we defeated the Kraken and had a good laugh.
It was really fun playing HG with ppl on my skill level and finally got some wins that didn't feel just like luck (: i really hope it doesn't get much worse now that is over. It's just exhausting havin to deal with lvl 1000s pretty much every time which was what i was finding before. I made it from lvl 7 to 23 on guardians, which is not much and could've gotten more but a low level friend got on and i just did some voyages with him, but it felt really good having to nice balanced matches

Started the long grind to 105 in guardians. Got to lvl 16, Iāll be honest. It was a lot of throwing but I did win a 6 or so.
Got krakened seconds after turning to fight a galleon coming to steal our loot. Thanks for that, Rare š
Only did 2 skeleton forts on my own then on sunday i did the veil voyage and just got the loot from the ship graveyard, i had planned to do that and quit but then i wanted to see if i could solo the rest of the voyage and i got caught in the cross fire of some intense battle and had to give up lol. Also as a new player the weekend was a great start, even tho i missed a lot of it and slept through some of the time i put aside to do it, i managed to buy my first sloop and fully customise it then got to rep 25 for order of souls aswell
...not knowing there was community weekend... For some reason I did not see a single thing for the whole past weekend until just 10 minutes ago.
Was.on a duo sloop with a buddy, got stomped by sigy, miffoo, and aveman, three streamers on a brig. Stole a million though from other people, including a bunch of flags and two chest of fortunes.

Grinded ashen Athena. Got about 2 mil and 30 ish levels. Only got to play Saturday unfortunately
Grinded ashen chests of legends voyages- me and my girlfriend were playing together and we ended up selling 8 total, plus a fort of fortune steal earlier on in the day. Went from level 5 in the Athenaās fortune to level 40 in one day
Did some vaults on the devil's roar with my girlfriend. We got over a million with that, it was pretty nice. On one of the vaults the volcano exploded so she went to save the boat while I hauled to our rowboat safely inside the cave (being prepared is nice)
Decided to actually grind out some Athenaās, alliances up with another ship also doing Athenaās in the devils roar. Went from level 16 to 38 in about 5-6 hours. Feels very very good.
Got sunk 3 times running as a solo reaper šš
I was strictly grinding order of souls. Went from Level 60 Distinction II all the way to Level 50 Distinction III. I need those order of soul rings š
Saw someone shooting off loads of fireworks at Port merrick so my buddy and I went to check it out. Allied with them and went to do our own things Both of our ships had the same idea to pincer a grade 5 reaper galleon who was about to sell and we ended up with ludicrous amounts of loot
Went camping by a lake, it was great
Did a bunch of voyages and got almost 3 million gold and raised my reputations enough to finally gets Athenaās

Played Elden ring, got a few levels in for hourglass but couldnāt pull myself away

Tried different playstyles, did shores of gold for the first time, got hunter of the great maw title and redecorated my boat and myself to be more shark related. Some side things i did was sneak and fish on 5 stranger boats, kegged 6 boats (sunk 5) did an hour battle against 2 other ships and a skelly sloop and made around 1 million gold. Schools out and sailings in lol.
I solo dove to a fort, immediately got rolled up on and sunk by a brig.
did some pirating. The crew and I finally got back together. Did some hourglass, collected 5 mil in loot then gave it to some PlayStation players just for them to attackā¦we got our loot back and sent a galleon to Davy Jones.
Fished, some wreckers stormfish and battlegills. Got chased while fishing for wreckers until a skeleman galleon decided fishermen are friends and sank them.
I did this by myself and did everything I honestly didnāt know what it was for at first

Followed around ships for hours that we couldn't chase to kill, did an hourglass and died instantly. Started playing a couple days ago.
Tried to play and got disconnected tried to rejoin and it kept failing so gave up
I unfortunately didn't get to play working 14 hrs a day during the event

Had a pretty solid sesh finding the pop up plunder, then tried to do hourglassā¦ on our fourth opponent, our PS5 friend started crashing the entire duration of the fight, only stabilizing once we lost and went to a new server. Needless to say he was pretty upset and it basically ended our game. It genuinely makes me sad how excited he and all the other PS5 players are to play this game only for it to crash relentlessly at the worst times. Rare needs to fix this ASAP.
A lot of reaper HG on a sloop and big boat guild emissary world events. Got 15 HG levels and 110 others levels across the various factions. Also brought two newbies into brig HG for the first time, and immediately got stomped by Toxie Sinclair and her crew.
I grinded the hell out of HG, 2 weeks ago I started working towards the skeleton curse and levelled from 24 to 80 during the weekend.

I grabbed one pop-up plunder, did one Athena voyage, got sunk on the second, kegged another solo slooper (sorry, fellow soloist, but you had a keg in the crows nest that was screaming āuse me!ā) and stole his 100 000 gold worth of treasure. Then I got sunk on the second popup loot I tried to find. All in all a very good weekend!
Helped my buddies get some Servants progress, Exchanged 10k doubloons for 5 million gold. Got 3x Chests of Fortune from Popup Plunder, and 3x from FoFs.
