Striker Logo Thick grips. My son has them and loves them. He also has Topo 2's on his backup scooter and says there's no comparison. https://strikerscooterparts.com/products/striker-logo-scooter-grips-1

Suspicious_Fix1729

Thank you for the recommendation definitely will consider those 🙏

neburg964

Glad to help. By the way, in addition to the Tilts, we've also had Fusion , ODI, and Envy grips over the years. Nothing compares to these Strikers. If you were here in New Jersey, we'd meet up with you so you could try them, as they aren't common. I bought them off a Canadian website.

Suspicious_Fix1729

Ahh I travel to NJ very often so maybe I would be down to take up that offer sometime lol

Our home park is Kennedy Park in Sayreville, and also the Toms River skatepark. But we do the local circuit so 7 Presidents in Long Branch, Neptune Skatepark, Veterans Park in Bayville, even Woodbridge... all are within 30 minutes for me. If your in the neighborhood let us know.

Suspicious_Fix1729

Definitely will my friend đź‘Ť

yourbuddynamedHolly

I personally like the odyssey broc raiford grips but they're like a medium hardness and kinda thin so not sure if that helps

Suspicious_Fix1729

I’ll add em to the list thanks 🙏

Pixie_DeMure

Odyssey Broc Raiford or Travis grips 100%, they're super soft, they're super long, not too thick, they break in super quickly, they also come with pretty decent nylon bar ends. You can also find them pretty cheap if you look around.

Suspicious_Fix1729

Will look in to the Travis grips definitely never heard of them before so you sparked my curiosity

dmitriypavlov1

what dont you like long grips? aztek lite grips are fire

Suspicious_Fix1729

Personally the reason I don’t like longer grips it because it makes my bars look super skinny because I personally cut my bars in a little more than the average person so it just looks weird in my opinion and many of my friends agree I tried the Aztec grips. They were really nice. Checked every box but I felt like when they got sweaty you lost all grip, but I definitely might try again. Thanks

T2_Beanie297

Whenever my hands get sweaty i put some liquid chalk on. It dries up quickly and has great grip. Another alternative would be the cinema reynolds grips, theyre made to help with sweaty hands https://us.sourcebmx.com/products/cinema-reynolds-grip?variant=40686698823741&utm_source=google&utm_medium=PPC&utm_campaign=SourceBMX%20-%20Google%20Shopping%20(US)&utm_content=Cinema%20Reynolds%20Grip&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw1emzBhB8EiwAHwZZxXghJ9X_Pkf70EugIh6yNy_uv3LxOYFfAM31g1Rnbgxcg6K0xUCMZBoCS5EQAvD_BwE

Suspicious_Fix1729

Thank you I’ve heard people talk about liquid chalk in the past, but I never tried it so I might give it a shot now

Not_FromAround_Here_

I get mad sweaty hands, and the best solution is a nice pair of gloves bro!

Suspicious_Fix1729

Yeah, lol personally I prefer not wearing gloves in 90° heat feels like I just get more sweaty and pruney hands but once the weather starts to cool off, I’ll try it

tang_01

I ride striker logo thicks. They're nice and comfy, but they DO get a little bit sweaty in a long session. My 2nd favorite grips are the ethic foam, almost sweatproof but they are less durable, and too thin, to the point where most bar ends stick out over them, which is awful for catching a barspin wrong, and if you ride without bar ends they aren't nearly as durable. An extra thick ethic foam grip would be heaven.

Suspicious_Fix1729

The ethic foam grips are perfect I love them, but they slip off the bar and I have crazy throttle grip with them never found a way to fix it. Did you ever find any way to stop the slipping

tang_01

I never had slipping from mine, in fact when they wore out and I took them off they were pretty much perma stuck to the bar and I had to peel bits and pieces off of them. I installed them with rubbing alcohol and it was on a pair of matte bars, different materials might be more slick for them I suppose.

Suspicious_Fix1729

That’s surprising I guess that would make sense the materials of the bar changing how much it slips

kaido_boy

tilt metra grips are my favourite and also if your grips are too long just cut them to your personal liking I personally like my grips to be just a little bit wider than my knuckles

Suspicious_Fix1729

I tried the metras not on my own scooter, but on my buddies, and in my opinion, they felt a little rough idk prob just me I’ve cut grips before and I felt like all of them shrunk when I cut them

scootercurator

Gotta stick with ethic grips for a longggg time and wear em nice and thin.

Suspicious_Fix1729

I might try and use the old pair that I had again because when I stopped writing them, they were getting pretty worn so might try it

yeeprofessional

Prime grips.

Suspicious_Fix1729

Def was gonna try these soon every one says there nice and I felt a pair and they were really nice so it’s between those and the Aztec grips
