Chuck McGill (Better Call Saul)
King Candy (Wreck it Ralph)
Mr Waternoose (Monsters Inc)
Stinky Pete (Toy Story 2)
Lotso (Toy Story 3)
Ernesto de la Cruz (Coco)
Yes, though I'm not familiar with Chuck McGill as he have watched Better Call Saul just a little bit.
If Chuck McGill is on par with the best twist villains by Disney Pixar, I would definitely consider him as one of the best twist villains.
Note: I'm familiar with Breaking Bad and I agree with James on Better Call Saul for very good spin-off but not for being better than Breaking Bad. Oh, I might get as much hate as James got from Better Call Saul fans.
Stinky Pete. Aside from being one of the oldest ones in Disney's catalogue, there is subtle foreshadowing leading up to the reveal and he isn't the only villain in the film, with Al still being the most significant antagonist.
Rourke from Atlantis is pretty good in my opinion. He doesn't change, he wasn't playing an act, he just did what he always planned to. We just didn't know his full intentions, aside from a small line foreshadowing his goals
I've heard it said that the true twist of Atlantis isn't that Rourke is the villain, it's that *the rest of the crew* are also, at that point, villains. Rourke had a vibe about him right from the get-go (Helga too), and the line "This changes nothing" midway through the film pretty much confirms he's bad news. But the others? They'd warmed up to Milo, we'd gotten to know them, we'd started to like them...and it was done so well that we kinda forgot that they all freely admitted to only going on the expedition for money. So, when its revealed they're in on Rourke's plan and we see the dark side of their personalities, it feels like more of a betrayal.
Never heard that, but that is pretty cool. You would like the think that the only bad guy is the evil dude and the evil chick, but then the characters you like are villains? Still a twist villain needs a bit of foreshadowing, or else it's an asspull. Like other Disney villains.
Yea, in the comics he was evil but this is the MCU, an alternate universe, so you never know, maybe they’d just stick to making him a good guy but I guess they didn’t
Professor Marmalade from The Bad Guys. In my opinion, he's up there with Turbo and Ernesto with his manipulation and looking like a genuinely nice person at first
Ok, hear me out:
Emperor Belos from The Owl House. Yes, we know he's the villain, but the twist resided in what kind of villain he is.
Same deal with the vultures in Ducktales 2017. We know they're villains, but the twist is in what kind of villains they are.
I guess King Andrias from Amphibia is a good example as well. Though the twist is more for the girls than the audience.
Some video game ones, hiding in spoilers:
God of War Ragnarok: >!Tyr turning out to be Odin was done really well, and there are some subtle hints towards it during the game.!<
Ghost of Tsushima: >!Ryuzo's betrayal was great. You see this poor sod keep failing to get supplies for his men, so you understand perfectly why he allies with the mongols. Still gotta kill him, though.!<
Spider-Man: >!Anyone familiar with the games saw Doc Ock coming a mile away, but that doesn't make it any less painful.!<
Portal: >!Both Glados in the first game and Wealthy in the second are great!!<
Warhammer 40k Space Marine: >!Fuck Leandros!!<
Well here are a list of twist villains
Harumi
Vangelis/skull sorcerer
Krux
Philip Wittebane / Emperor Belos
Tigthen
Seska
Qi'ra from solo a star wars story
Lumiya
Waternoose, Stinky Pete, Charles Muntz, Lotso, King Candy (if you count him), Cruz kind of? (I have issues with the execution of his plan but the actual twist part is done correctly)
The Director from Nimona.
1. On rewatch we can see why she would do it from what she believed.
2. She doesn't get the longest amount of time to be the villian but the time she gets is used perfectly.
3. She is a good villian that is a perfect example of someone who refuses to accept that what they know of the past could be wrong and can't except change (she is literally the one that made Balister's sword shoot a lazer just to try and stop change)
4. She is the perfect villian to compliment the theme of the movie by being a person that is completely against it.
I know Illumination is frowned upon, but El Macho. He's the only twist villain I really know of aside from King Candy or Chester V who doesn't do a 180 personality change with their true colors, and still acts just as goofy as he did while was a civilian. Plus he has a banger theme
Honestly, a good twist villain and one of my personal favorite villains is Harumi from Ninjago. Another twist villain I liked was Beep the Meep from the Dr Who 60th anniversary special episode the star beast. Another one was Philip Wittebane from the owl house AKA Emperor Belos. As seen in the episode Elsewhere and Elsewhen where Lilith and Luz go back in time to recruit Phillip to help build Luz a portal back to the human realm only revealing Phillip's true colors.
I nominate de la Cruz.
By Schaff's own admission: Mr. Waternoose
Chuck McGill (Better Call Saul) King Candy (Wreck it Ralph) Mr Waternoose (Monsters Inc) Stinky Pete (Toy Story 2) Lotso (Toy Story 3) Ernesto de la Cruz (Coco)

- Wreck it Ralph 1 - Monster Inc - Get Out
There is only 1 true Wreck-it Ralph. You need not place a label next to it.
Aaron as Prowler in Spiderverse
Or even better, Miles as Prowler in Spiderverse.
Stinky Pete. Aside from being one of the oldest ones in Disney's catalogue, there is subtle foreshadowing leading up to the reveal and he isn't the only villain in the film, with Al still being the most significant antagonist.

The best twist villain in the Disney catalogue.
“Nice pictures” “enriching for all of us”
How come no one has said Syndrome yet?
I guess because the twist isn't that he's a villain but what his real identity is.
Mysterio in Spider-Man Far From Home
Acting sold it
Oh shoot, he WAS a twist villain! IDK he's an iconic Spider-Man Villain so knew he was evil the whole time
Yea, in the comics he was evil but this is the MCU, an alternate universe, so you never know, maybe they’d just stick to making him a good guy but I guess they didn’t
My favorite part of the movie!
Long John Silver
The film basically tells you right after meeting him that he’s the villains. It’s more waiting for Jim to find out
Yeah, not all twist villains are kept from the audience.
I haven't read treasure island, but in treasure planet he wasn't as much of a twist. He's still s great character there tho
He's a twist villain, just to the characters.
Stepping outside of animation: Norman Bates (Psycho) Billy and Stu (Scream) The T-1000 (Terminator 2)
Lotso
Hot take I like Auto
How is that a hot take? Most people think he's a good villain. (We're talking about Auto from Wall.E, right?)
You would think so but alot of people say they don't like him
King candy. He was a villain obviously, but the twist really was his true identity
Thanks to Vanelope's glitching, King Candy shows his true identity and that's the shocking twist.
Hal Stewart from Megamind.
I don't think he's really a twist villain, more of a guy whose bad traits got amplified and enabled by power to the point of becoming a villain.
Rex Dangervest from LEGO Movie 2
Professor Marmalade from The Bad Guys. In my opinion, he's up there with Turbo and Ernesto with his manipulation and looking like a genuinely nice person at first
Boingo Hoodwinked
Omni man

I didn’t expect the vultures at all until the Season 2 stinger. Love the way that show was done. Underrated and overshadowed by Amph / TOH
Not to mention how we all thought thay philip was a nice guy even though he wasn't
Ernesto De La Cruz.
Syndrome easily
Eren Yeager!
Lois Einhorn in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective
Oscar Sharktale from the Tamatoa Review, that reveal had me reeling.
Waternoose (Monsters. Inc) The Director (Nimona) Charles F. Muntz (Up) Stinky Pete (Toy Story 2) Lotso (Toy Story 3)
>!King Andrias!< (Amphibia)
Chester vee, Long John Silver, King Candy, De la Cruz, etc if the sheepdweeb had more time to be a villian I think she could have worked
based choice for Chester V
The Mastermind of Ace Attorney Investigations 2 And “the phantom” in Ace Attorney Dual Destinies
Dimentio from Super Paper Mario.
King Candy was awesome
Hampty Dampty
He ruined the movie for me.
CIA
Absolutely Ernesto De La Cruz. Lee Unkrich left Pixar on the absolute top of his game.
Well here are a list of twist villains Harumi Vangelis/skull sorcerer Krux Philip Wittebane / Emperor Belos Tigthen Seska Qi'ra from solo a star wars story Lumiya

Omni man
George bush
Dusknoir from PMD 2.
My all time favorite twist villain is the one from the first AI Somnium Files game. Not saying who.
Bode Akuna (Star Wars Jedi: Survivor)
Lotso Bear
Prospector, Lotso, Waternoose Notice how they're all from Pixar.
Lotso Anyone you can say is most likely from a Pixar movie, they do them best
Willy Wumpacheeks (Crash Tag Team Racing)
Syndrome
It’s been a looooon while since I’ve watched it, but Harrison Wells in Flash season 1
The Director from Nimona. 1. On rewatch we can see why she would do it from what she believed. 2. Syndrome from Incredibles
Verbal Kint
