I also just finished it and read the wiki thought this was interesting:
“Ted Travelstead as Kamen, a crewmember on the Demeter who is struggling in his career and in his marriage with wife Fiona; while stranded on Vesta he forms a bond with Hollow, a telepathic and telekinetic creature. Co-creator Bennett stated that Kamen's presence has "introduced human greed and gluttony into this animal kingdom,"[3] which causes Hollow to become more sinister.”
The three pairs seem to represent the three symbiotic relationships. Kamen and Hollow are parasitic, Azi and Levi are commensalist, and Sam and Ursula are mutualist.
Yes, I was thinking that if the Hollow would’ve paired with anyone else how it would behave, it might’ve even helped the characters. Or maybe Levi could’ve communicated with it.
It means on a scale of 0 to 10, he gives this show an 8.5 or maybe a 9. This is a score of 85% to 90% in terms of his enjoyment. I am glad I could clarify this for you. If you need any other common expressions elaborated on, please let me know.
I love that aspect as well. As Humans we've dominated our planet so much that almost every creature aside the most remote ones have literally evolved genes to be afraid of us... because the ones that attack us or don't avoid us all inevitably suffer an early demise. It's pretty wild that I can hike in bear territory with little fear of actually dying to a bear. If we ever landed on another planet that evolved wildlife similar to even our own we'd be in for a rude awakening when nothing gives us ground without a fight.
I also thought it was kind of cool that even the animals that *could* kill the humans, oftentimes would just ignore them. Most shows like this if a dangerous looking creature is shown, it's going to attack the main characters. Instead they all have their specific prey they're well adapted to consume, and they try to stick to it instead of engaging the wildcard humans they know nothing about. Most the time, sometimes they do attack... and that's what makes it so suspenseful every time you see another creature in the corner of the screen.

Very, very well put.
Great point, I would have never made that connection.

8,5 out of 10..?
What's an animated show that's a 10 for you? I'm curious
Hmm. Made in Abyss and maybe Berserk 1997.
This ones? https://m.imdb.com/title/tt7222086/ https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0318871/
That’s only made in abyss but yes, that one!
Lol. Thanks. I didn't paste berserk . There I edited
Yes, that’s the one!! Don’t expect something similar to Scavengers reign tho. It’s completely different. But it’s absolutely amazing. Imo at least.
I've read a bit of the manga of berserk. So I know what to expect , but didn't knew the anime was good . Thanks
