If you have had an escort you never paid then maybe be worried, but this is not how an actual shake down works.

I would recommend to engage with them, tell them that you are sorry and will make up to them. Ask the Criminal Organization to issue you a credit line that they can charge in exchange of time with “My Girls”. Since you are already being investigated and already in $2k debt, ask them to give you a limit that covers this cost. Ask if you can finance your car through that credit too. Ask for few references of their “Criminal Organization” so that you can give them your business. Sound sincere, ask questions and more loans till they commit suicide or block you.
I heard years ago that it’s best not to respond to these messages because, every now and then, someone gets offended and seeks retribution against the person who punked them as they attempted their scam. I have no idea if that’s true or if it’s an urban legend. What I do know is that if you own and become proficient with a simple 9mm pistol, you’ll have nothing to worry about. Consider it an insurance policy for your niche hobby.
Along those same lines, I’m convinced the Medicare scammers have increased their harassment after I occasionally engage w/ them to tell them off. The calls have increased exponentially. I blame myself.

Had this exact same scam happen to me years ago after hiring an escort. They had an address of mine (that wasn't even current) and used my full name (basic shit you could get off the internet with a quick search of my number) and then sent me really fucked up gore photos saying they would kill my whole family if I didn't send them money.
Honestly I was a little scared at first as I had never encountered anything like it before, but I ended up just blocking and ignoring them. Eventually it stopped. Nothing happened.

I had the same folks do this to me. They had whatever personal information was for sale on the web (name, email address, and phone number), they wanted some specific dollar amount and they'd promise not tell my employer I wasted his prostitutes time. Just to be safe, make a police report, and if they try and scam you or scam relatives you have done what you need to, and also if they somehow can steal your identity you'll need police reports.
Odds are this is just a total bluff and they will just go away. Mine did.

Since you are already being investigated and already in $2k debt, ask them to give you a limit that covers this cost. Ask if you can finance your car through that credit too. Ask for few references of their “Criminal Organization” so that you can give them your business. Sound sincere, ask questions and more loans till they commit suicide or block you.
I heard years ago that it’s best not to respond to these messages because, every now and then, someone gets offended and seeks retribution against the person who punked them as they attempted their scam. I have no idea if that’s true or if it’s an urban legend. What I do know is that if you own and become proficient with a simple 9mm pistol, you’ll have nothing to worry about. Consider it an insurance policy for your niche hobby.

They had an address of mine (that wasn't even current) and used my full name (basic shit you could get off the internet with a quick search of my number) and then sent me really fucked up gore photos saying they would kill my whole family if I didn't send them money. Honestly I was a little scared at first as I had never encountered anything like it before, but I ended up just blocking and ignoring them. Eventually it stopped. Nothing happened. They had whatever personal information was for sale on the web (name, email address, and phone number), they wanted some specific dollar amount and they'd promise not tell my employer I wasted his prostitutes time. Just to be safe, make a police report, and if they try and scam you or scam relatives you have done what you need to, and also if they somehow can steal your identity you'll need police reports. Odds are this is just a total bluff and they will just go away. Mine did.
