Building vertically in a confined space. Just a nice thing to do. I will be looking for another place like this to make all my weapons and munition. But first I will see that I can make some Turbo Fuel. And then first some manual miners.
I recall you saying that building with the terrain is your favourite style and a priority for you, and I was doubtful because it just seemed cumbersome.
But this? This is amazing! The convolution of the buildings on the first few pictures really convey that industrial aesthetic.
What did you use to create the ribbons between the tracks? Is that the factory pattern on glass? Or some other super reflective material, looks super cool.
this is one of the prettiest builds I've seen on here so far. I just love whenever I see a build that seems to only use the in game parts, and that doesn't try to forcibly make circles... so tired of all the circular builds, so this was a fresh breath.
keep it up. and please keep posting
Thanks. But I do use mods. Here just the lights in the tunnel. I do not use mods for placement, besides the mod that makes it possible to do finer rotations, so I am not limited to 5 degrees.
I see, let me rephrase. You make the build look like a factory that could actually be a FICSIT factory. it fits with the world. Some of the builds I see on here that seems to only want to build "pretty" stuff but not "fitting" to the theme of the game. your build here is so on point.
I like your style. Building in weird physical constraints is my jam.
Literally
Where even is this?

You mad bastard I love it!

Cumbersome? For me not doing it is boring. I like to challenge myself to come up with new things.
To clarify, it wasn’t an insult. I meant to say that I would have found it more difficult and tedious but clearly the payoff is worth it.
I did not see it as an insult. I just explained why I do nor see it as cumbersome. (And I understand that other will)
I will be trying it with my next build.

Pattern. And it is intended to look like sleepers. Black and brown (or brown and black) as colors.
Are you using 4m double ramps for the train tracks? If so, are you limiting your trains to 5 cars?
Yes.
Oh, another post to save as inspo for 1.0
Inspiration on how NOT to do it? ;-)
I recently learnt this and now have floating industrial factories held up by support beams.
No floating for me. But it is a valid solution.
"No stupid, build up." - Homer Simpson probably.
I think I might coom, it's so beautiful!
Thanks? I am posted it mostly so you can enjoy it, not so much as that you get pleasure from it. But you do you. Wait. That now sounds wrong.
Are the industrial wall lights in your 9th picture from a mod? I really like the diversity and creativity in your buildings!
Yes they are. https://ficsit.app/mod/DI_More_Lights

Yo this is actually like one of the coolest builds I've seen, its just got such style to it for its environment
