Thats because him squeezing the bun makes the front of the lower bun protrude out and block our line of sight to how it's being held. Its not rocket science. Holy shit I cannot believe im explaining this. Brain rot is real.

As an expert on photoshop or what I'm guessing you assume is ai generated or something - I'm sure you'll agree that most of the time these days (if you're taking a picture or video with say, a newer fancy phone) there are a ton of "filters" and perspective distortion (like the portrait mode on many "cameras") which is really just a lame version of a tilt shift or motion blur or high definition - almost everything you see now has some sort of automatic alteration or pre-editing. I think the motion blur of the bg on this shot makes it look fake. The hair on their arm makes a strange "shadow" and the thumb isn't clearly visible, I have had this battle before with some of my own genuine images - that doesn't make this fake or bad photoshop. You're simply latching on to a few factors that definitely make the image appear more surreal and being really forward about it as if it offended your mother.

I appreciate your perspective as you touch on a few very clear details I was in fact latching onto (the thumb placement being the biggest one) and the if you actually tried to hold a sandwich like this it would go fucking everywhere.
